I need help looking for my sms and mms folder. one day it just wasn't there anymore and i can't read my messages. Can someone please tell me how i can get it back or how to reboot my phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis morning I remember still being able to access my media folder through the Media folder, but now, I can't find the music icon anywhere, and when I mean everywhere, I mean like every folder on my phone. I'm still trying to get a hang of my software upgrade [6.0 Bundle 2342]. I can still search "music" and the music icon magically comes up on search and I can play my music, but I can't seem to find the icon anywhere else besides that...What should I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying to create a sub folder in my address book & now I can't find my original add book. The add book icon is still there, but there are no contacts in it. The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
I had a folder with some pictures in it, and I had set the folders propertys to hid the pictures in it and the folder still showd up but showd nothing in it. But now the whole folders gone and I can't find it anywhere.

ALL of MY apps didn't switch from 9000 to 9800. Haven't been able to set up BB email or GMail. No themes transfered. The folder that I think I hid still shows on my screen that lists my picture folders, but now it's showing as empty. I'm pretty sure I selected to hide the whole folder, and didn't actually delete everything in it.... I googled how to "unhide" photos, and it keeps telling me to go into media and "explore" but there is no "explore" option anywhere in my menu or even in the options submenu.

View 15 Replies View RelatedMusic files (and not all of them) find themselves in my pictures folder on my E71. I sync my computer and E71 using Win7 and the latest OviSuite. I can't even delete those sound files from my photos folder. Everytime I sync, a duplicate music file is synched to the wrong folder. It uses up memory and, well, it's annoying. Can anyone help?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWell I have had my blackberry tour for almost a week and i put the OS5.0 .419 tonight. so far so good, but i have my regular message folder, but there is no email folder and i went and setup my email ont he phone but there is no foler that i can find to actually read them in. its not evn getting any of my email cuz i sent one to the registered address. its not abig deal as it did drive me nuts getting all my emails on it, when i only check email when im away from home on my phone. i can always log on line to do it thru the phone, its just buggin me. i had the htc touch pro before this, and the blackberry so far is a love hate thing.

I have talked to AT&T and they have not idea were it could be. I have also wiped the device clean and restarted the BES setup and that did nothing. Does anyone have any ideas.?

I got the error 606 java error and with much head scratching I finally got the phone to plug into my computer to perform an update. When prompted to do the update I checked the box backup and update. The backup completed and went straight into the update. Once the update was complete the restore process began and that's when it all went south. The restore failed in the middle with and error, IM sorry no screen shot, but stated restore failed temporary backup will be stored in.... I was so frustrated I closed the box and couldn't find the folder. I was wondering if there's a place that I haven't looked that it would be accessible. I checked in the backup folder and searched for .ipd folders and nothing. the odd thing is the restore managed to restore my pictures ring tones apps but not contacts or saved messages.

1) How do I find the folder where apps are stored? I have an external SD card and when I view it with file manager or via USB on PC I can see the folders but I can't see most of the folders that are on internal storage.
2) How do I get album art to show across multiple media players? I have Cover Art Downloader installed and it found nearly all of album artwork but unfortunately it doesn't show up on stock media player, MixZing, etc.
I am having trouble finding my nandroid backup file made with TWRP. I can't even find the TWRP directory! This file system is so confusing! I have a droid turbo. When i throw my music into my music folder that appears after plugging my phone into the computer, i cant find it on my phone. I will either put MP3s directly into the "music" folder, or i will create another folder within the music player, name it after the band or album, and then put the mp3s into that newly created folder. Then upon rebooting my phone, the music doesn't appear in the music player application. Though if i do put music into my "downloads" folder i am able to find it, though with this method i am unable to organize the music at all.

The only thing I can't figure out and haven't yet found in the forums, is how to move the missed calls from my message folder.I don't want to use the messages folder for anything.
