I install mail for exchange 3.0.Under my inbox I have a lot of sub folders that I don't want to sync.The problem is that when I get into my inbox for exchange in mh E71 I see all my sub folders (~20)so in order to see my email I need to scroll down a lot until I see my emails.Is there any option to hide the sub folders that are not sync ?

Anyone able to hide or unhide (since one seemed to have vanished on me) their picture folders? I had a folder, ticked the hide button but it was still able to be seen. Battery pull (for a different issue) and than the folder is gone and have no idea how one would get it back.It's not like on the 9700.

Im trying to sync my phone with outlook 2003 but the sync calender option is greyed out.
i checked the settings and i got sync with outlook selected.i also keep getting errors when trying to sync my contactsi didnt write down the error code but ill try again tomorrow and write it down.

I am trying to sync my email using Phone->Sync option. I have already set up a mailbox under messaging. But when I select Sync e-mail option under Phone->Sync I get a warning stating 'No sync mailboxes defined. Define one'. I don't understand the why I am getting this warning and it does not allow me the check the Sync e-mail option.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N8. I use the Nokia Suite software to exchange data with my computer. It has a Sync function for Contacts, Messages, Pictures etc. But there is no Sync for Music.
I know that I can just copy my music to the phone using Windows Explorer. But I think that it would be more convinient to Sync automatically. So if I change my ID3 tags or if I add new music to my computer, these changes would copied to the phone automatically.
I just noticed that my calendar was not syncing with my Google calendar, and went in to settions>accounts and noticed that the sync brower (which was new to me) had stalled and turned the sync circle "red". I then shut off sync browser and rebooted a couple times and my calendar is now synced. Seems that Google is adding feattures as don't recall seeing sync browser.Just curious, is there a webpage that documents or advises updates to this device so that I don't scratch my head each time? The "Apps" do a great job of advising changes, sure would be nice to see changes in the OS.

First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an iphone 4s on 5.0.1, I recently reset my settings and restored and now I cannot get my apps to sync to folders. I arrange them how I want them on iTunes and then I try to sync it, and the sync process finishes and my apps are thrown about all over the home screen pages, in no particular order. It adds some apps to folders, but most are thrown about randomly. I have no idea whats causing this.

I see from reading through the posts here that the easiest way to synch contacts seems to be through Outlook. I don't have Outlook at home, but I do have it at work. View 5 Replies View RelatedOn my previous phone (HTC One X) I could choose to not sync particular folders (like spam) to my phone, but on my LG G4 it syncs all spam (or other folder contents) directly to my inbox, meaning I get a regular stream of notifications about junk all day every day - it's beyond irritating now. When I go into mail settings and select "show all folders" there is no spam folder or any of my other Yahoo or Gmail folders, so all mail, including spam comes straight to my inbox. How do I set the default email app to properly show ALL folders and set syncing so I don't get spam synced to my phone?
I'm hoping I've just overlooked something simple and my upgrade hasn't meant a reduction in simple functions! If there's no way to do it in the default app? This seems such a ridiculously basic function to omit.

all of a sudden my icons lost color. not all of them, but most of them. when i tried to hide icons that i do not use, it would not hide them. and i cannot recharge my phone from the auto. i have tried other autos and different chargers, the electric charger works fine too.

Also, Ovi doen't delete my music on my Nokia N8 phone (I thought maybe that will enable sync option again?) I press delete it opens up the thing where it says it is deleting and then when I refresh all my music just comes back!
I have my gmail account set up on my iphone 4 and I noticed that if I go to:
Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calerndars -> choose my account.
There is an option to sync my calendar. I assume this syncs my calendar items from my iphone with my google calendar? How does that work? When does it sync? When I dock my phone to sync with my PC or does it sync over the air? Does it work well? When I enabled it. It asked if I wanted to keep the data from my local iphone calendar. I don't want to lose any data so I said yes then it said that this would likely cause duplicate data. Whats the deal there? It would be cool if my calendar data synced in a smooth way with my google calendar but I would just like some additional information so I am sure I know what I am doing here.
Sync with Outlook is not working. So, updated to version 6.0 and keep getting directed to an options menu and told to "enable wireless syncronization" but there is no such option that I can find anywere. Wasted the day so far...
View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously I set the inbox setting "Hide email older than" to 3 days only in Account settings ->What to synchronize->Inbox settings->Hide email older than, and I was able to select the options available. Then suddenly today I'm not able to change the setting, it is set default to 2 weeks. I tried changing it back to 3 days, but there is this message saying "unable to edit read-only settings".
