Previously I set the inbox setting "Hide email older than" to 3 days only in Account settings ->What to synchronize->Inbox settings->Hide email older than, and I was able to select the options available. Then suddenly today I'm not able to change the setting, it is set default to 2 weeks. I tried changing it back to 3 days, but there is this message saying "unable to edit read-only settings".

In reading up on iPhone firmware v3.1.2 seems preferred if one wants to unlock.In shopping for a new (to me) iPhone most seem to have 3.1.3 - the unlock procedure for this does not seem for the fainthearted.So, my question is where I might find a DIY guide for reverting to older firmware (i.e. 3.1.2) - assuming such is possible.

I have researched and seen other people having this issue after the update but I do not have the option to "Look down for Mail Days to Sync" and to then choose no limit from the settings, mail/contacts/calendars, yahoo account...
When I first got this phone the email worked fine and just started doing this not too long ago! Also, all of my emails have been deleted from my yahoo account because my phone deleted them!

First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn the iPad you can hide the keyboard anytime while typing. I cannot see a way to hide the keyboard when typing a mail message. I saw a post saying you close, save, go to your saved messaes and open the message again - too time consuming. There is a fix on the jailbroken site, but I dont want to jailbreak the phone. There must be a way to hide the keyboard in a mail messge. In a text message you can.

I go into my email setting and select for it to hide my sent messages from my email (linked to my work outlook server) and it does not save. I have tried hiding sent items a dozen times, but the system will not save the setting.

I have 5000 SMS messages in it that I need to download to some safer location and I cannot access either the Inbox or Sent Messages with my Mac - only images and music folders.I have an old laptop running Windows XP (with no internet connection) so I downloaded the latest PC suite to my Mac and transported it to the XP laptop via memory stik.The latest version of PC suite refuses to install on the XP laptop saying that the OS version is not supported. It is XP 5.1 service pack 1. I do not wish to upgrade the junk laptop.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNow I know this has been a frustration for many users. Nokia ovi maps 3.0.3 is not widely compatible with a lot of phones with exceptions being the newest models. Free navigation is not available on the older version of maps, so either free licenses need to be available on the older maps or the new version must become compatible. I know nokia have said they are working on this, but is there any timescale? I could do with having navigation on my phone a.s.a.p really.

When I pick up Windows live hotmail to enter user ID and password, the email setup wizard takes me back to the previous screen that is in email setup wizard screen. It doesn't show any error message.

I'm trying to set up my email accounts on my Nokia X6 but it's just not happening.I use the email set-up wizard and when I put in my email address and click "ok" it just keeps coming back with "unable to connect to server. Try again later" I've also tried by going into my Nokia Ovi Account settings and "verifying" my email account but no luck.This is the same for my yahoo mail and google mail.Any ideas?

I've now have an issues with setting up my email on the phone. No matter which way round I go to set it up I have the same problem. It comes up with the error of 'Cannot connect to the internet. Please contact your carrier'. The weird thing is that I can browse the internet fine on both wlan and network connection. I've called vodafone and they have no answer for whay it is doing it. I've restored factory settings, I've left the battery out for over and hour and still no joy.Any ideas on what could be wrong?
