I am trying to sync my email using Phone->Sync option. I have already set up a mailbox under messaging. But when I select Sync e-mail option under Phone->Sync I get a warning stating 'No sync mailboxes defined. Define one'. I don't understand the why I am getting this warning and it does not allow me the check the Sync e-mail option.
View 4 RepliesJust been upgraded to a 6303i Classic. I want to remove Web (which I won't use) from the Right Selection key and put Names there like it was on my old 6230.
The manual says I can change the Right Selection key in Settings, My Shortcuts. I see options to change the Left Selection key and the Navigation key, but there is no option to change the Right Selection key.
The software is on version 6.84. I attempted the update to 7.10 using the phone's own updater, but it came back saying no update was available.
I have an 5800 xm blue. you could select message tone before but i turned it off only to vibrate. now i got this really cool tone I want to use but when switching msg tones back on it gives me a warning-----not enough memory to display all ringtones, only tones in read-only memory will be displayd. -------- why can't i select and set a msg tone in my music gallery like a ring tone? And how do i get the msg tones to work properly. My phone memory is 48mb free from 86mb?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my official mailbox set up on E72 and recently i removed the mailbox due to issues with sync. Mailbox got removed without any issues, however when i click on email one touch key, it still goes to the old mailbox & asks for pwd for connecting. Shudn't removing mailbox clean up everything? I also see this old mailbox name appear under email>global settings>homescreen>. This is strange and annoying. Is there a way i can clean up old mailbox w/o doing hard reset?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am 1 step away from throwing this phone against a wall, I really need to access my emails asap.. So hoping some1 can help..Basically it seems to intermittently go into this mode or has this bug or even screen damage? If i open my emails for example what ever I click on it highlights every email from the top to that specific email instead of just selecting 1 email. I cannot click on any individual email it just highlights multiple emails and its impossible to open any emails like this, even if I use the BB Function button then click on Open it jumps to the top "Help" and wont select "Open" or any were else on the menu. It happened a few times over the last week or 2 then randomly goes back to normal, was fine all weekend now it has just happened. I cant select some of the main icons on the home screen either, it's really starting to seem like the touch screen is damaged?? (Also I noticed on the facebook ap there is 1 icon it will now not select unless I tilt it to the side..)

I install mail for exchange 3.0.Under my inbox I have a lot of sub folders that I don't want to sync.The problem is that when I get into my inbox for exchange in mh E71 I see all my sub folders (~20)so in order to see my email I need to scroll down a lot until I see my emails.Is there any option to hide the sub folders that are not sync ?

Im trying to sync my phone with outlook 2003 but the sync calender option is greyed out.
i checked the settings and i got sync with outlook selected.i also keep getting errors when trying to sync my contactsi didnt write down the error code but ill try again tomorrow and write it down.

Suddenly when I compose an email, I have to select which Type of Encoding. Did used to have to do that, How can I turn that off?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N8. I use the Nokia Suite software to exchange data with my computer. It has a Sync function for Contacts, Messages, Pictures etc. But there is no Sync for Music.
I know that I can just copy my music to the phone using Windows Explorer. But I think that it would be more convinient to Sync automatically. So if I change my ID3 tags or if I add new music to my computer, these changes would copied to the phone automatically.
I bought recently a Blackberry curve 3G, without knowing I started the installation; now I see I clicked the wrong email selection. I clicked "Enterprise account" but I need "internet Mail Account". I don't know and don't find anywhere where I can go back and switch to the right account.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my new LG G3 and I love it. But it bothers me that the stock email only provide a selection to mark as unread if i select all. If I need to mark as read, I can only select one by one, but if i selected any read emails, it will just provide option button below as mark as unread.
I only check my emails few times a day on my phone but it could get up to a lot and i need this feature that I can mark as read easily.
as the title says, i have this issue where i cannot manually sync email, HOWEVWE everything works normal as it should. Push mail, contact sync,everything else is not a problem. The prob is basically manual sync, and on top of the email app, it says that the last time it was updated was 2 months ago (this is when it first started, i installed cyan using nokia recovery tool)
I have turned off message backup, tried to find verification email, no solution.
I am getting an error message whenever I try to sync my Desire: "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." My phone was working fine with my old HP pc. win7 and office 2007. When I got my new Sony Vaio with win7 and office 2010. Is there anything I need to do on the office 2010 for it to Sync?

But when I get through the email set-up wizzard I get to the section Mailbox type and I am only given the options of POP3 or IMAP4....and not Mail for Exchange which is what I need. So I can't get my emails.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that my calendar was not syncing with my Google calendar, and went in to settions>accounts and noticed that the sync brower (which was new to me) had stalled and turned the sync circle "red". I then shut off sync browser and rebooted a couple times and my calendar is now synced. Seems that Google is adding feattures as don't recall seeing sync browser.Just curious, is there a webpage that documents or advises updates to this device so that I don't scratch my head each time? The "Apps" do a great job of advising changes, sure would be nice to see changes in the OS.

The Right Selection key is set to go to Vodafone Live - which I don't want but I can't seem to change the option. I have done the usual menu>settings>my shortcuts but only the left selection key, navigation key and home screen key come up as options to change.Is this a model issue or a network provider software issue?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy PC Sync has stopped synchronizing appointments.As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings.I synchronize appointments and contacts between my Nokia 6230i and Outlook 2007 via bluetooth.Contacts still work OK but when trying to synchronize appointments PC Sync just sits there saying "reading appointments" without proceeding.I can open up in Outlook the calendar I am synchronizing with.I have tried creating a new configuration through PC Sync but that does not resolve anything. The calendar I wish to synchronize up with does appear in the list of calendars to select.
