BB Bold 9700 :: How To Delete Multiple Entries So They Don't Reappear / When Create Next Entry?
Mar 8, 2010Recently when I add a new contact the 9700 creates multiple entries. When I delete these multiple entries then it leaves approx 10 blank spaces. If I leave the multiple entries for the same person then the next person who I add will only show once.Why do they appear multiple times? How can I delete the multiple entries so they do not reappear when I create the next entry?

Feb 3, 2012I need to sync more than one outlook calendar with my Bold 9650. When I turn on wireless sync, only my main calendar syncs. When I turn it off and hook it up to my desktop, it syncs both calendars but not when I'm mobile so updates to the calendar don't show unless I reconnect to the PC.

May 11, 2010I have been through the many Google synching problems already and finally managed to get the calendar going as planned. However since last week all the entries are now showing twice, one in my "google calendar" and the same entry again in my "device" calendar. I would like to only show one of them as the default, but I can't set a default evidently, so in order to show the entries once only I need to select the calendar manually each time.
How can I
a.) get rid of the duplicates - or alternatively
b.) show one calendar as the default
c.) sync my tasks and show them on the calendar?

May 26, 2010I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 with Verizon. I have v4.5.0.175 of the BB software.I have five email accounts setup on the BB. All are working OK. One of the five has a calendar associated with it. It’s a Gmail account with a Google Calendar. None of the other four email accounts has any type of calendar associated with it but apparently my BB thinks all of them do.
I use Google’s sync application to sync my BB with my Google Calendar. That works OK most of the time. However, occasionally things get flakey. Events on my Google Calendar show up on my BB as if they were from another calendar - a calendar associated with one of my other email addresses. But no such other calendars actually exist.
When I go into calendar options on my BB it lists five different calendars - one for each of my email addresses. When I go into Select Calendar on my BB it also lists the same five calendars. Again, only one calendar actually exists. So, how do I tell my BB that four of my five email addresses have no calendar (and never have)? How can I delete those four imaginary calendars from my BB so that nothing can possibly go to them?

Feb 16, 2010I have created three filters in my contacts, lets say Family, Friends and Colleagues.I want to see Friends and Colleagues only and do not want to see family members listed in contacts. To achieve this I guess I need to select the filters Friends & Colleagues and leave the Family filter unchecked. But the problem is, if a filter is selected and I try to select a second filter, the previously selected filter gets un-selected. It lets me select only one filter at any point in time.Is there a way to select two or more filters? If so, please let me know how to do that.

Jul 31, 2010I've noticed a couple issues when sending a text message to multiple people. On my old curve, I could hit the menu button, click "add TO", choose a contact, and thats it, simple. But on my Bold, I have to click, "Show recipients", and add another recipient. Now, the problem arises when i want to send it to only one more person. I choose the person and it has the next option for recipient open, which is blank cause im not choosing anyone else. I hit "ok", and it does nothing. I hit "ok" again and when i send the message, its sent duplicate messages, meaning each person gets the message twice. Same thing happens when forwarding. Id choose the person i want to forward the message to, but when I hit "ok" it doesnt do anything, so i have to hit it again and it adds the one contact twice. Anybody know how to fix this issue? Or is this just a common glitch that hasnt been fixed yet?

However, I have now split my contacts within Outlook into two separate folders; one for my personal contacts and one for my business contacts.When I try to synchronize now manually, the Desktop Manager only reads my personal folder contacts and and asks to delete all my business contacts - which have been moved within Outlook out of that folder into the new business folder.Q. How can I set up a second, business, folder on my 9700 so that both folders will be synchronized when I next connect to the Desktop Manager?
