Eseries / Communicators :: Multiple Outlook Calendars To E7-00?
Nov 30, 2011
I use 3 different calendars in my outlook. For some reason I'm only able to sync one of them to my phone, yet symbian supports multiple calendars. What sorcery do I need to apply to make all of them sync?
I used to sync two outlook calendars to my blackberry calendar so i had office and personal in the blackberry. i had to change the office calendar and redo it in outlook and now it won't let me go into the mapping folder in my blackberry desktop and set it.
I need to sync more than one outlook calendar with my Bold 9650. When I turn on wireless sync, only my main calendar syncs. When I turn it off and hook it up to my desktop, it syncs both calendars but not when I'm mobile so updates to the calendar don't show unless I reconnect to the PC.
I would like to use my E72 for business (Exchange) and private (Google email+calendar) purposes. While I can easily have 2 separate mailbox, it is a totally different story for calendars. I managed to get both sync'd (using MfE and googasync), but then all events are merged and mail google calendar events are uploaded to Exchange during the next sync (and vice-versa) which I don't want. Is there any way to keep those 2 calendars separated? Alternatively, is there a way to do only "unidirectional" (from server to phone) sync in Mail for Exchange?
I`m a new E7 owner and have swithced from the N900. I have tried many advices shown on the net to export my different calendars from an N900 of a friend ( with my backup on it) to my new E7, but it just doesn`t work. What I`ve tried so far: 1. Sync through PC suite with Outlook 2003 .--> didn`t do a damn 2. export each calender as a .ical File and import them in google Calender --> it only imports one !!! ( yes, only 1 event out of all that I`ve made) and shows it the google calender 3.Sync with the phone app --> the N900 calender was synced to the E7 without a problem, but when i try to send the other calendars to the E7 the process just stops and the screen on the n900 shows that there was an error during the the sending process.
in my mail application I can successfully select multiple emails (and get the green tick) but then pressing options -> delete only deletes the single message (and not selected ones) ... how can I manage to delete all selected ones?
I was wondering is it possible to set up multiple ActiveSync accounts to E7 running Nokia Belle?I'd like to use 2 Google Calendars that are on differents accounts.
I can see and mark all contacts on my contact list while in "To" when creating a new text message. However the "Ok" button is missing on the left lower corner of the screen while "Back", on the right, is active. I can type in recipients, though this is tedious when I need to select multiple recipients. Further probing brought up another problem - I can see all my contacts on my phone but cannot find the contact folder nor can I backup my contacts.
Is there any version of advanced call manager which can handle multiple lists? Currently the ACM which comes with phone handles only one task and one list...
I've raised this subject again as there has been no replies as yet. Is there anyone out there, with an E7, that does not have the problem below: "If I make a calendar entry on the E7 then sync to Outlook the new entry in the E7 calendar does not appear in Outlook. I've tried the sync with conflict resolution set to Outlook and Device (E7). Calendar entries in Outlook do appear in the E7 calendar when synced." So if you have an E7 that does sync calendar entries made in the E7 with Outlook via Ovi I'd love to know. I might then be convinced that Nokia can repair my phone.
When someone sends me an invitation from an exchange/outlook account to my E7 email account I am unable to accept this. What should i do to enable this?
I can't seem to find a way to sync the email on my Outlook Desktop to my E63. I bought this phone because it promised to sync with Outlook. I assumed that mean ALL of Outlook. It syncs very well with everything but the email. My problem is that I operate remotely and that my desktop email runs on Outlook 2007, which pulls my email off an IMAP4 server. I know the phone can do IMAP4 by itself.
The problem is when my Outlook pulls the messages from the IMAP4 server, it also deletes them from the server, making them inaccessible to the phone. Additionally, this is my private phone and I don't want to incur extra charges on account of my work. I like the ability to download the messages to my phone during a sync, take them with me, answer/delete/file them, and then have those actions carried out in Outlook when I sync the next time.
I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 with Verizon. I have v4.5.0.175 of the BB software.I have five email accounts setup on the BB. All are working OK. One of the five has a calendar associated with it. It’s a Gmail account with a Google Calendar. None of the other four email accounts has any type of calendar associated with it but apparently my BB thinks all of them do.
I use Google’s sync application to sync my BB with my Google Calendar. That works OK most of the time. However, occasionally things get flakey. Events on my Google Calendar show up on my BB as if they were from another calendar - a calendar associated with one of my other email addresses. But no such other calendars actually exist.
When I go into calendar options on my BB it lists five different calendars - one for each of my email addresses. When I go into Select Calendar on my BB it also lists the same five calendars. Again, only one calendar actually exists. So, how do I tell my BB that four of my five email addresses have no calendar (and never have)? How can I delete those four imaginary calendars from my BB so that nothing can possibly go to them?
I am testing the Office 2013 Preview and just realized that my calendars, contacts and notes are not updating via Nokia Suite. I currently have my hotmail account connected to Outlook via Exchanged Active Sync, therefore everything on Hotmail is getting updated but nothing via Nokia Suite.
When I first heard that Symbian^3 on the N8 would support multiple calendars I was under the impression that I finally could sync all my iCal calendars with my N8. But I just can't get this feature to work (iSync plug-in version is 2.0).
Calendar entries made on my Mac still show up under the "PC Suite" calendar on the N8.
I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S2 to the S5. I am loving the phone except for the syncing of the Outlook (Exchange) calendar. I use multiple calendars in Outlook (for my work), but only want one of the calendars to sync to my phone (my main calendar only - the others are group calendars that I do not need to see on my phone; however, I am the owner of each of these calendars [not sure if that is important or not]). The problem I'm having is that the S5 is grouping my calendars into one calendar. I cannot choose which calendar I would like to see/sync, so the group calendar information is overpopulating my calendar (I use the S Planner calendar that comes with the Galaxies). I really just want the one (main) calendar to sync.
I thought the issue was in the S5's on-board S Planner calendar, so I disabled that and downloaded the Google calendar app. Much to my surprise, the same thing happened. This lead me to believe that it is something in how the S5 is syncing with the Exchange calendars.
I also have a Galaxy Tab 2 running the most recent software update (I don't know what it is), and it only syncs the main Outlook (Exchange) calendar ... not all of them. This is also how it was with my S2.
I am having difficulty syncing my I3gs phone calendar to my PC's Microsoft Outlook 2003 calendar.I installed Google Calendar and tried following several pieces of advice from various information sources.
I've been using iPhone 4s since January and it has worked flawlessly until about 2 weeks ago... right around the time I upgraded to 5.1.1. It still syncs Outlook 2010 contacts but has stopped syncing calendars. I have no idea why??? I've removed and reinstalled iTunes and associated apps but to no avail.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, Outlook 2010 running on Windows 7
