My corporate administrator set up a second e-mail for me to access my personal mail from verizon.net. I have 2 mailbox icons. All of the messages received at my verizon.net account are also being sent to my corporate account.Does anyone know how I can change it so the mail only goes to the e-mail account addressed to?

I recently configured my Bold 9700 with a data account and added two E-mail addresses. One being personal, and the other being my school E-mail address. After doing this, I noticed that my contacts were doubled and in some cases, tripled. Some contacts say that they are sychronized to my personal E-mail, while the duplicates say that they are sychronized to my education email address. How can I solve this problem so that the duplicates are deleted? I have several hundred contacts and it is a pain to delete them manually.

1. Can I download my contacts to a PC via Bluetooth or USB to manage them - update, alter, delete etc and be in sync with the Berry as I do it?
2. Can I replace all sim contacts with the then updated contacts list held on the phone?
3. How tough is the screen? After using phones with a hard surface for so long I was surprised to find a sqishy (technical term that) type screen. Are the screen protector companies and RIM one and the same?
A bussiness phone with a delicate screen, surely not, you wouldn't buy a car and drive around with a cover on it in case it got dirty and the paint washed off.
I have an enterprise email account through my work. I recently added my personal account to my phone via the setup wizard. Everything works great but I was wondering if I can setup my "messages" folder so it only displays my work account? Also, I accidentally sent a few emails for work with my personal account and wanted to make sure that my work account was the "Default" email.

When I check our router firewall logs, I see multiple entries similar to this one:Blocked outgoing ICMP packet (ICMP type 3) from 192.168.0.100 to 166.147.95.129 192.168.0.100 is the DHCP address assigned by our router to her iPhone, which I verified by comparing her iPhone's WiFi MAC address against the MAC address listed for that IP address in our router's log.I also made really sure by watching a "ping -t 192.168.0.100" command in a command prompt window change from getting responses to timing out when I turned off her phone, and then start getting responses again after I powered it back on).The IP addresses her phone is pinging are all over the world. 166.147.95.129 resolves to mobile-166-147-095-129.mycingular.net in the USA, but I've also seen addresses in Russia, Canada, Bangladesh, and a couple of addresses in South America.The pinging appears to be really bursty, because it generally doesn't occur for minutes at a time, but then I'll see several pings in short succession.I have an iPhone as well, but mine doesn't appear to be doing anything similar. I'm not aware of any iPhone malware, but I'm concerned this might be some sort of bot attempting to call home for instructions.

1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.

Currently, all 3 emails go to the main. Is there a way to stop this from happening as its far too many mails coming into 1 location.
On my gmail, I have another account (my school email) set up, so i can send from either address from Gmail, which allows me to avoid the crappy school email website we have..http://i33.tinypic.com/9k6q1x.jpg. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have created three filters in my contacts, lets say Family, Friends and Colleagues.I want to see Friends and Colleagues only and do not want to see family members listed in contacts. To achieve this I guess I need to select the filters Friends & Colleagues and leave the Family filter unchecked. But the problem is, if a filter is selected and I try to select a second filter, the previously selected filter gets un-selected. It lets me select only one filter at any point in time.Is there a way to select two or more filters? If so, please let me know how to do that.

On my old curve, I could hit the menu button, click "add TO", choose a contact, and thats it, simple. But on my Bold, I have to click, "Show recipients", and add another recipient. Now, the problem arises when i want to send it to only one more person. I choose the person and it has the next option for recipient open, which is blank cause im not choosing anyone else. I hit "ok", and it does nothing. I hit "ok" again and when i send the message, its sent duplicate messages, meaning each person gets the message twice. Same thing happens when forwarding. Id choose the person i want to forward the message to, but when I hit "ok" it doesnt do anything, so i have to hit it again and it adds the one contact twice. Anybody know how to fix this issue? Or is this just a common glitch that hasnt been fixed yet?

However, I have now split my contacts within Outlook into two separate folders; one for my personal contacts and one for my business contacts.When I try to synchronize now manually, the Desktop Manager only reads my personal folder contacts and and asks to delete all my business contacts - which have been moved within Outlook out of that folder into the new business folder.Q. How can I set up a second, business, folder on my 9700 so that both folders will be synchronized when I next connect to the Desktop Manager?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with creating new email. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). For some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. If I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone! Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.
The group that did it is notorious for doing trolls that mess with people and make them upset. Do you think they could have used a similar exploit to get the e-mail addresses of pre-ordered iPhone 4s and sent out that June 23 e-mail? Just a thought... It seems pretty on-track with other "trolls" they've done to groups of people.

If I leave the multiple entries for the same person then the next person who I add will only show once.Why do they appear multiple times? View 4 Replies View Relatedi just upgraded my Storm to the Bold 9700 a couple days ago. When setting up gmail through the "personal email setup" icon on the 9700, I add gmail successfully. My problems are below:
1. Sent messages from my gmail account on the computer, do not show up on my BB. I found that gmail made the fix to not have them appear in your inbox as new messages, but the sent messages don't even show up with a check mark. I made sure the "Hide Sent messages" option is set to "No" but this didn't fix the problem. Is there any way I can at least view the sent messages with a check mark next to them on my BB?
2. While trying to test out different scenarios, I found that email I send to myself on gmail don't show up on my BB. Is there any way to turn this back on?
I just have one quick question; how do i turn my voice mail off so people cannot leave me voice mail messages.

1. Can Autotext be used in E-mail, MMS, and BBM messages also? The example given was used to make a signature in a SMS message. I tried sending a e-mail to my computer from my phone to my computer at home and it didn't work. I did set it up in Autotext to replace appt with appointment.
2. Can I use Autotext to make a macro. Example is when I type appt, can I get it to be replaced with something like "I wanted to let you know that I have an appointment with...."?
Just got a Bold 9700 and my previous Bold used to have the option to have all Mail Accounts and SMS in a Single Folder on the BB desktop.Can someone tell me how to do this, the option has gone from within the menu to set all Mail Accounts to combined.I'm sorry if this is a known issue, I did see a post about SMS and MMS but there was no mention of E-Mail.
