Oct 5, 2010I have 3 users all with blackberry torches 2 of those users are on Telus Network and connected to BES Express the thrid user is on Rogers Network and not connected to BES Express The Rogers user is able to download any attachment, the Telus users are not. Each user got the same email with the same attachment, a csv file. I know blackberries can't read csv files, but the user can downlad the attachment to the BB and change the extensipon to .txt, then they will be able to open the file. Like I said the Rogers user can do this, but the Telus ones can't. The BES express policy is the default one, which as far as I can tell, is blank.

Aug 16, 2010I have successfully downloaded .mp3 audiobook files from the library via OverDrive Media console to my new Torch but I can't download books in .wma format.I see that older Blackberry devices do not support .wma files and they must be converted but I bought the 9800 because I thought it supported .wma files.I am running 6.0 bundle 278 (v6.0.0.141, platform 6.4.0.64)The error from OverDrive says that RIM does not support this file type.If it isn't supported, what 3rd party conversion tool can you recommend?

the wizard has been interrupted before blackberry dekstop sofware could be completely installed your system has not been modified.to install the program at a later timeplese run the installation again.

Jan 31, 2011when i attempt to download anything, such as a facebook update, i am requested to log in. so i enter my email and password but instead of the page returning and automatically starting the download as before it simply shows me my log in information page; my email, and whether i want to change my password or question.if i go back it returns to the same page where i can select download and the process repeats itself. <cycle of death!> if i hit the BB button i have the option to 'save' and changes to my log in info (even tho i made no changes) if i select 'save' the page just stays where it is. my other options are 'help' wh takes me online, 'see featured view' which takes me to appworld home or 'close'. none of these options allow me to actually get what i wanted to download in the first place and there is still the annoying symbol which tells me that i have 2 updates waiting.

Mar 24, 2012For a couple of days I have not been able to update current apps or download new ones, either on wi-fi or 3G. The icons say "waiting" for a few moments before the error message "Unable To Download Application - Done - Retry" followed a little later by "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store". I have verified my account details on my Apple account, as suggested in other forums, but this does not work. I have the latest software. As an aside, for some reason I cannot send email in wi-fi mode but can receive it.
