I've gotten a notification saying Facebook 2.0 is available, but I cannot download it for some reason. Have tried various emulation modes with the BlackBerry browser, as well as trying to get -somewhere- using Opera, which is also installed on my phone with no avail. I have no cord to sync my phone to my computer and do it that way, as I moved and a few things were misplaced.I've gone through the Blackberry App World, although it shows that the newest version is 1.9.0.28, even though I know there was a recent release. It hasnt happen to me before. i cant seem to download any thing from android market at all. when i select say a free apps and install in, a few seconds later it will promp to me saying download unsuccessful, please try again. i checked, my sd card still has more then enough space. i checked, i got a very good wi-fi connection.

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". I figured it could be a site problem so I forgot about it but when I tried it again this week same message. I have tried and tried and keep getting the same message half way through the download saying "Download Failed. 907 Invalid COD". I contacted my service provider who said they had sorted and I was to turn my phone off for an hour and switch it back on and I should be able to download it. I done this and 3 hours later I am still getting the same message. I have even tried removing the battery and sim card but this does not work either.

I click on the "upgrade" button, it says please wait, then nothing. It does the same for the app world update. I've spoken to my carrier and they say it's something on rim's side that they can't fix. I have just updated the software on my curve 8520 to OS 5 and app world needs to be updated, however the update says it cannot be completed and when I try to download it via my blackberry browser it says sorry error once I get to the point of selecting my language. Appworld worked fine when I had my old software.
