Jun 5, 2013I transferred about 2gb of music (mp3 format) from my PC to my HTC One's "Music" folder and when I check my phone's music player, there's nothing there. I tried a 3rd party music app, tried using media scanner apps, cleared cache for media storage, rebooted phone...no luck. Also tried HTC Sync Manager to copy the songs from there onto the phone and the songs still won't show up...s?

Jan 2, 2010I have a strange problem which appears to be random. Occasionally it turns itself off for no reason. Occasionally when I slide it open to write sms it turns itself off.Battery is properly seated and battery has charge. These are not low battery conditions. Does anyone else suffer similar problems? How do you prove this to LG as it is random and difficult to replicate?

Apr 21, 2010Looking at buying this phone, but can anyone tell me if it is possible to assign different ringtones for incoming text messages based on the contact info, similar to, but independent from assigning different ringtones for incoming calls.
For example,
Wife call - ringtone 1
Wife text - ringtone 2
Work (group of contacts) call - ringtone 3
Work (group of contacts) text - ringtone 4
Default (Other) callers - ringtone 5
Default (Other) text - ringtone 6
I used to be able to have different text alert sounds assigned on my old LG325, and just wondering if this phone has a similar feature.I find a lot of phones including my current Samsung Vice have only one ringtone for all text messages, which is annoying because I can't prioritize checking my incoming text messages, and have to look at every message to see if it's important.

I have a folder called Music and within that I keep a load of folders with albums inside each. However for the albums that wont play, if I move individual songs outwith their album folder so that they just sit as loose files within the music directory then the music player recognises them.

He received a .jpg from someone that he wanted to move into a file folder.So he creates the folder but then can't figure out how to move the file INTO it.Menu options, touch-dragging, holding down the icon for the image hoping for a menu nothing.He sees that he can move the file between phone memory and his SD card... but he doesn't want to do that. But when I get e-mails in Japanese, they are partly readable (the hiragana and katakana are visible and displayed correctly, but the kanji don't show up properly). May 18, 2015Using u/bittorrent the files download no problem and are playable if i click on them in the torrent app or in the file manager, but do not show up in the music app. I tried moving them around in file manager to no avail. I switched from utorrent to bit torrent, deleting all the files and torrent app which seemed to work, i was sure all the albums were still in the music app since ive been listening to music all day but now it appears that they are not present in the app. I have restarted but am leaning towards a factory reset. Also, music i downloaded as zip files are recognized after i extract them on the phone, idk if that means anything to yall.

LG :: Vx8560 Mp3s On Both Internal And External Memory?
Jan 13, 2010How can you put mp3s on both internal and external memory on the VX8560 (Chocolate 3)? I filled up a 8gb card, and everything works fine with no mp3s on internal memory. When I drop mp3s in the internal memory Mymusic folder using bitpim, the phone suddenly ignores all of the mp3s on the card, and only shows the ones in internal memory. I've had horrible luck with using the Vcast software, so I'm hoping that's not the answer. I also tried transfering from the card to internal mem using the phone, but during the transfer the phone said the songs had illegal titles (I'm guessing because I have very long file names - because I put artist, album, song all in the title). Then it showed that none of them transfered over. Anyhow - any help much appreciated.
This is my actually my second VX8560 - lost one a month ago on a mountain bike ride, and decided to just get the same phone instead of something different because this one is perfect for me (a lot to do with the phones small size).

May 3, 2012I syncing all my mp3s from my MacBook with my iPhone using iTunes (everything at the newest software version). When I delete songs on my iPhone, those songs are automatically restored with the next sync. So why is there such a function, when files are restored anyway?

Mar 19, 2010I have a LG Xenon GR500 phone and whenever I try to send or receive files via MMS my phone tells me "My Stuff Folder is Full - Delete files". I am using a 2GB memory card and all defaults are set to this folder. I have moved everything from Ringtones to Pictures to the memory card and deleted every single nonessential file from the phone. When checking the Phone Common memory, it shows 179886KB in use and 108KB free. 170900KB is listed as "Others" and when I go to the "Other Files" folder, it is empty. I have done a Master Reset on the phone and I am at my wits end with this thing. Does ANYONE have any idea whats going on here?
