I have an LG Xenon, there is a message tone "message02.mp3" that I would like to have for use in another device, does anyone know how can I get it out or where can I get it, or even is this allowed ?

I have a problem in setting ring tone and message tone.When i trying to set ringing tone or message alert tone in the Profiles(General) it showing an error message as "Not enough memory to show all ringing tones. only tones in read only memory will be displayed". But my phone memory has 50.1 MB free space and My memory card has 1.2 GB memory space.

For example,
Wife call - ringtone 1
Wife text - ringtone 2
Work (group of contacts) call - ringtone 3
Work (group of contacts) text - ringtone 4
Default (Other) callers - ringtone 5
Default (Other) text - ringtone 6
I used to be able to have different text alert sounds assigned on my old LG325, and just wondering if this phone has a similar feature.I find a lot of phones including my current Samsung Vice have only one ringtone for all text messages, which is annoying because I can't prioritize checking my incoming text messages, and have to look at every message to see if it's important.
Everytime I send a message from my X3-00 the phone beeps as if I have recived a message. I do not have deleivery reports turned on, so I am a bit confused.
is there a way to turn this off?
I want to use a tone in my music as a message alert on my M8. But it only allows default tones.

I have checked and double checked that the phone is on loud, i have turned the phone off and even taken the battery out, but it hasnt solved a thing. I have 4500 messages in my inbox right nowand whenever i recieve a new message it comes into the inbox but the message tone doesn't ring. The settings in the profiles are correct, i've set the ringing tone and vibration for messages, but it still just doesn't ring or vibrate.

recentlyy i have updated my phone software to v40.0.0.2.. after that whenever i send any textmsg and then delivey report is recevied i get message tone and for some 1-2 sec it shows new msg received but actually delivery report is recieved..

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife has an iPhone 4 with which we've been having an issue. If it'd either plugged into Apple charger or a Sony digitasl radio/dock, whilst charging there are no message tones activated if a message is received.
Checked and there's nothing in any settings to indicate that it's a turn on/off feature. Last software update was about a week and a half ago, but this has been happening for 3 - 4 months, through a few updates now.
She doesn't want to do a restore, as it takes forever to get it back to the way she wants it. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard anyway, there's no reason it shouldn't work right just as it is.

have a Samsung Galaxy SII recently the mother board had crashed all on it s own and I had to replace it. Fortunately the phone was under warranty, but I lost all dataMy phone got upgraded to ICS. All was well for a week, now wht has happened is , that the phone hangs, most apps I open, hang and all though all messages are read it shows unread 1, also the message notification sound has gone although I receive notification sound for all the other things, like whtsapp, gmail, gtalk etc.

Then wen i switch off and switch on my phone, i wil be able to hear my tone back. So i thought at first that it might be a software problem....so i updated my software to 071.004....so far it was working fine and now sdnly its back to how it used to be....has anyone faced a similar problem to mine?
