My sister has the Lg Xenon and is on a pretty basic plan with no web surfing. She keeps accidentally hitting the web key and I keep getting charged for webbrowsing. It's not alot but it is annoying. Is there a way to disable that key or disable the web browsing feature?

Occasionally when I slide it open to write sms it turns itself off.Battery is properly seated and battery has charge. These are not low battery conditions. Does anyone else suffer similar problems? How do you prove this to LG as it is random and difficult to replicate?

For example,

He received a .jpg from someone that he wanted to move into a file folder.So he creates the folder but then can't figure out how to move the file INTO it.Menu options, touch-dragging, holding down the icon for the image hoping for a menu nothing.He sees that he can move the file between phone memory and his SD card... but he doesn't want to do that. JUST wants to move the file into the file folder he made.

But when I get e-mails in Japanese, they are partly readable (the hiragana and katakana are visible and displayed correctly, but the kanji don't show up properly). I was wondering if unlocking the phone will remove Rogers' Security policy from my phone so I can then do all this stuff. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a LG Xenon GR500 phone and whenever I try to send or receive files via MMS my phone tells me "My Stuff Folder is Full - Delete files". I am using a 2GB memory card and all defaults are set to this folder. I have moved everything from Ringtones to Pictures to the memory card and deleted every single nonessential file from the phone. When checking the Phone Common memory, it shows 179886KB in use and 108KB free. 170900KB is listed as "Others" and when I go to the "Other Files" folder, it is empty. I have done a Master Reset on the phone and I am at my wits end with this thing. Does ANYONE have any idea whats going on here?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I received a Canadian Rogers LG Xenon a couple days ago, I am not able to get any gmail apps to function on it (gmail, maps etc).After some troubleshooting I think it is because of the fact that the Access point settings in the phone are incorrect (read: not all entered)yet they are locked and not editable.For the rogers Internet Profile which is used for Application Data usage it did not have a user-name and password setup for the account.

When i look on the phone it does appear to have these settings (minus username/password which are blank) so.I tried to simply create a new Profile (new profile name also) to added the user-name and password but as soon as I enter the internet.com address the phone indicates that this access point already has a profile associated to it and you can not duplicate entries.Rogers Technical support also told me their "support" phone in the office was setup the exact same way and they could not edit it, and they do not 'support' gmail apps....I know other people have Rogers branded phones that are able to access gmail apps, could someone please verify if there accounts have the username and passwords set on their devices.The lady also said that the sim card is were this data is stored and that I should try putting my sim into a different phone to see if I could edit these settings there.....this doesn't sound correct to me, as this is my sim from my old phone were I manually entered all of these values.
1. What are the advantages to unlocking it other than being able to go through other carriers and internationally? I am on Rogers right now and I don't plan on moving from them so is it worth it to unlock my phone and lose the warranty? Will I get any extra features?
2. Anyone know the best sites for free apps/themes/wallpapers/games for this model?
It tells me to connect to iTunes, but iTunes tells me that i have to unlock the passcode for it can be used with iTunes.

My sister-in-law received a new iPhone 3GS from a co-worker who already had one. She gave it to me. It has never been activated or anything. The message on the screen says, "iPhone is disabled. Try again in 22,168,144 minutes".... WHAT? It will only make emergency calls. I only wanted it for my kid to use it as an iPod, and to transfer Aps from my iTunes that I use for my own iPhone 4G.
