I unlocked an LG Xenon and sold on eBay. Today I got a frantic message from the buyer saying, "phone doesn't work, it's in mode of voice ringtone, even the att store couldn't reset it. the phone is defective or locked."
View 1 RepliesSo I received a Canadian Rogers LG Xenon a couple days ago, I am not able to get any gmail apps to function on it (gmail, maps etc).After some troubleshooting I think it is because of the fact that the Access point settings in the phone are incorrect (read: not all entered)yet they are locked and not editable.For the rogers Internet Profile which is used for Application Data usage it did not have a user-name and password setup for the account.

When i look on the phone it does appear to have these settings (minus username/password which are blank) so.I tried to simply create a new Profile (new profile name also) to added the user-name and password but as soon as I enter the internet.com address the phone indicates that this access point already has a profile associated to it and you can not duplicate entries.Rogers Technical support also told me their "support" phone in the office was setup the exact same way and they could not edit it, and they do not 'support' gmail apps....I know other people have Rogers branded phones that are able to access gmail apps, could someone please verify if there accounts have the username and passwords set on their devices.The lady also said that the sim card is were this data is stored and that I should try putting my sim into a different phone to see if I could edit these settings there.....this doesn't sound correct to me, as this is my sim from my old phone were I manually entered all of these values.
When my 5S is autolocked it doesn't ring. iget missed calls message. the caller hears one ring nad tehn it goes to voicemail.

Some time the audio of massages and calls on application like freepp or whatspp not work and the phone only vibrating. If I restart the phone it's work but I need knowing where is the problem...

I just recently changed my security from a Pattern to a Pin. The only problem is now I can't enter my unlock PIN with the google voice keyboard. View 4 Replies View RelatedI use a Jawbone Icon HD bluetooth. If my phone is UNLOCKED, I can hold down the bluetooth button and I hear "Voice Dialing" and Voice Commands opens on my RAZR M allowing me to place a call.
If my phone is LOCKED, I still hear "Voice Dialing", but nothing happens on my phone. I tried SMART ACTIONS:
Triggers: Paried to a Bluetooth device (Jawbone Icon HD)
Actions: Launch an app (Voice Commands)
It is on (icon is in the status bar). If my phone is LOCKED, I hear "Voice Dialing" and sometimes I'll see the screen flicker on to the unlock page, but it immediately goes dark again and nothing happens. Isn't there a way to make a hands free phone call without the phone being unlocked and without using a car dock?
I just bought the Iphone 4S. I selected the option to have the screen locked after 5 minutes of non usage, with a code. When the phone goes into locked mode, it does not ring when people call me, instead they get directed instantly to my voice mail.
To avoid this, I've then selected the "never" option on the locking mode, so that the screen never gets locked : the calls do come through & ring, but the downside is that the screen remains lit, never goes dark, consuming batteries really quickly...

Occasionally when I slide it open to write sms it turns itself off.Battery is properly seated and battery has charge. These are not low battery conditions. Does anyone else suffer similar problems? I used to be able to have different text alert sounds assigned on my old LG325, and just wondering if this phone has a similar feature.I find a lot of phones including my current Samsung Vice have only one ringtone for all text messages, which is annoying because I can't prioritize checking my incoming text messages, and have to look at every message to see if it's important.

He received a .jpg from someone that he wanted to move into a file folder.So he creates the folder but then can't figure out how to move the file INTO it.Menu options, touch-dragging, holding down the icon for the image hoping for a menu nothing.He sees that he can move the file between phone memory and his SD card... but he doesn't want to do that. JUST wants to move the file into the file folder he made.

But when I get e-mails in Japanese, they are partly readable (the hiragana and katakana are visible and displayed correctly, but the kanji don't show up properly). If the Xenon didn't ship with Japanese support, then is there some way to add it into the phone?
