I got a new Xperia ray 3 days back. I loaded my memory card with some mp3 files and some videos. when I am opening the memory card through office suite its showing folders but when I open folders, Its saying no supporting files found. Cant Xperia ray handle Mp3s and Videos? But If I open music player it is showing the mp3s but not videos.

An error message appears 'Built-in media storgae not accessible due to detected errors. do you wish to repair, when i click yes another message comes up stating 'select the storgae you want to repair' it has the only built in media option and cancel so i click built in media now it states 'built in media repair failed, you can try to repair by mounting as a usb drive on windows and running chkdsk. or you can reformat. do you want to reformat now.

I'm no longer able to use apps such as Ovi Maps and I don't have enough memory to update it.I haven't dropped the phone nor have I removed the memory card until after it stopped reading.What can I do? View 2 Replies View RelatedIssue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.
My Xperia play suddenly stopped reading the SIM card today. Someone on facebook gave me your phone line but it costs a fortune and I've been sat on it now for 10 minutes and not got much help.Does anyone know where I can get a sim reader from for the phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can you put mp3s on both internal and external memory on the VX8560 (Chocolate 3)? I filled up a 8gb card, and everything works fine with no mp3s on internal memory. When I drop mp3s in the internal memory Mymusic folder using bitpim, the phone suddenly ignores all of the mp3s on the card, and only shows the ones in internal memory. I've had horrible luck with using the Vcast software, so I'm hoping that's not the answer. I also tried transfering from the card to internal mem using the phone, but during the transfer the phone said the songs had illegal titles (I'm guessing because I have very long file names - because I put artist, album, song all in the title). Then it showed that none of them transfered over. Anyhow - any help much appreciated.
This is my actually my second VX8560 - lost one a month ago on a mountain bike ride, and decided to just get the same phone instead of something different because this one is perfect for me (a lot to do with the phones small size).
I've got a VX 9100, and I'm trying to transfer a bunch of mp3s to my phone via card. It is a new 4 gb card. I formatted it, and then I drag-and-dropped a bunch (just over 500) of mp3s onto the card. I put the card into the phone, and it finds many of the mp3s, but not all of them. Moreover, it seems to lose more and more of the mp3s the further into the album list it goes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The files do appear to be on the memory card.Are there hard-wired limits to the number of songs on an album? The number of songs on a card?Also, there's not by any chance any third-party or replacement mp3 players for the VX9100 are there? I'd like to be able to resume playing where I was, and as best I can tell, this phone doesn't do that generally (though it may do it when you get interrupted by phone call).
After installing many apps my phone now says that its low on memory. but i do have 1.75 GB available space on my memory card. How can I install the Apps on memory card instead of phone memory?

just got me a new C6-01 and updated it to Belle Refresh. Well I bought a 32GB SanDisk Class (4) sd card to go it. It works just fine when I boot the phone up, But after no specific amount of time the phone will stop reding from it. I have to reboot the phone and it working just fine again.

Was sent away via the carphonewarehouse repair center and another phone came back. This phone has now come up with the same problem. Will not read any SD card and these cards work on other Blackberry or PC etc. I have tried all the remedies out there. Reinstalled the OS. Started the phone without the Sd card etc.
