Cseries :: Nokia C6-00 Not Reading Memory Card Properly?

I've had a C6-00 for over a year now, with no problems.Today I started getting messages whilst trying to view my photos " Memory full. Close some applications and try again."I checked the memory I have free,C: Phone memory158.0MB FreeE: Memory Card1.0GB freeAlso, the photos on my memory card will not show up when I open my photos and look under 'All' It only shows the photos that are on the phone memory, the memory card photos are nowhere to be seen. I can access the photos on the memory card via the File Manager, however they don't show up in the main photos section as they used to.I tried turning my phone off, leaving it for several minutes then turning it back on.I have cleared all of my browsing history etcMy inbox only has a dozen messages in itI tried ejecting the memory card, turning the phone off, turning it on and reinserting it

Out of nowhere my cell has stopped reading memory card. I restarted my phone aswel but still it doesn't work. connecting to pc even won't show memory card! what should i do?

My xpressmusic 5800 has decided to stop reading my memory card. It is the original 8gb micro sd card from Nokia. I'm no longer able to use apps such as Ovi Maps and I don't have enough memory to update it.I haven't dropped the phone nor have I removed the memory card until after it stopped reading.What can I do? It has some stuff on there I would like to keep as I hadn't got round to uploading it so even if I had the option to would I be able to retrieve some data off it?

my nokia 5800xm is getting stuck when i put on the memory card. the memory card is also not reading. when i put other memory cards it works(the phone and the memory card works)

Issue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.

just got me a new C6-01 and updated it to Belle Refresh. Well I bought a 32GB SanDisk Class (4) sd card to go it. It works just fine when I boot the phone up, But after no specific amount of time the phone will stop reding from it. I have to reboot the phone and it working just fine again.

I got a new Xperia ray 3 days back. I loaded my memory card with some mp3 files and some videos. when I am opening the memory card through office suite its showing folders but when I open folders, Its saying no supporting files found. Cant Xperia ray handle Mp3s and Videos? But If I open music player it is showing the mp3s but not videos.

i have the blackberry bold 9790, my memory card had alot of photos and videos until one day i accessed my photos folder and realised the pics and vids on the memory card werent showing up. An error message appears 'Built-in media storgae not accessible due to detected errors. do you wish to repair, when i click yes another message comes up stating 'select the storgae you want to repair' it has the only built in media option and cancel so i click built in media now it states 'built in media repair failed, you can try to repair by mounting as a usb drive on windows and running chkdsk. or you can reformat. do you want to reformat now.

I m using C2-03, I found an option to set password on memory card.Apps and Games > Memory Card > Mem. card opt. > Set passwordfor my privacy I set a password but the Memory card still opens without asking.

My Nokia C6303 keeps telling me the memory is full although there is1GB card fitted with about 780MB free. It can see the card as it gives me the current status, free space etc.but it is not using the space. I have updated to the latest firmware and also tried a full factory reset to no avail.

i have someone problem in phone. automatically they saying to removing my memory card without safty removing. so i have to restart my phone to get back connect my memory card. i have tried new sd card but problem persists . Whenever there are more folders and files on the memory card, the phone opens the memory card very slow that it takes about 20 seconds!!!Either I have to move the folders to another folder or reduce the no of folders which is not good.

I have to admit that I been in love with my C5-03 since the first time I saw it. But unfortunately, the phone gave me real hard time.
1- I can't change the message memory to memory card. It works for a while, and then an error message pops out, statimg that "memory card not found" and that the phone will revery the message memory to phone memory.
2- The phone memory is almost full. I have 11.4 MB left, and I don't know what's filling the memory. I have 3 apps installed, 1 MB each, besides the default apps. Browsing the memory was of no help: almost all folders are empty. I tried emptying the browser's cache, but 11.4 MB is all I could have.
3- Nokia store and the web browser give me the "memory full" message after a couple of minutes of browsing, and then they close automatically, making them almost useless.
4- The battery life is not impressive. I have to charge the phone every 1-2 days even with light usage (15 min of calls, no Wi-Fi or music playing).
I love the phone and I've been having it for 6 months now.I have installed the latest firmware 2 months ago (v.20.0.024, version date 25-05-2011.

i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

for something reason, my phone started to be DAMN slow and laggy, when i try to go menu, it takes about 10 seconds to get to menu, and all is laggy in this phone. When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...

I backed up my phone, AND memory card.I updated firmware from 025.007 to 025.008. Since I had been having some odd behavior, I decided after the upgrade to reset the phone using *#7370#. The phone did refresh, but afterward, the memory card was unreadable. The error using file manager showed "Memory Card Corrupted" when clicking on the "E" drive. I tried reading in a card reader and it too failed.So, I am doing a long 11GB restore, but wanted to post this in case there is a known issue. If not, perhaps this should be looked at. My understanding of the reset process is it does not impact the memory card.

I bought my phone Nokia C5-03 two weeks ago and from day one when my phone is in my jacket pocket every few minutes I get the warning message of extraction of the card memory with safely.
I have off and on the phone, safely remove the card, formatted the card ... and still receive the message.

I'm very disappointed to see that all the messages in my memory card (Inbox, My Folders, Drafts, Sent Mails) deleted automatically except the Templates. It is not deleted by me or any other person. Is there any option to get back all those messages. One more thing, in Nokia C5 there is no option to mute the sound of the camera.
