BB Bold :: 9790 Error Reading Memory Card?

i have the blackberry bold 9790, my memory card had alot of photos and videos until one day i accessed my photos folder and realised the pics and vids on the memory card werent showing up. An error message appears 'Built-in media storgae not accessible due to detected errors. do you wish to repair, when i click yes another message comes up stating 'select the storgae you want to repair' it has the only built in media option and cancel so i click built in media now it states 'built in media repair failed, you can try to repair by mounting as a usb drive on windows and running chkdsk. or you can reformat. do you want to reformat now.

I recently bought a 9790 and was hoping that the old Sd media card from my 9780 would work and im sure it should work but the Sd media card is not being read by the 9790 when I insert it. The Sd media card works on my computer and on my old phone.

Issue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.

i recently got a bold 9700 but when i insert a memory card it's sayin that there is no media card in the device.. i have inserted two differnt memory cards and its the same thing.

I got a new Xperia ray 3 days back. I loaded my memory card with some mp3 files and some videos. when I am opening the memory card through office suite its showing folders but when I open folders, Its saying no supporting files found. Cant Xperia ray handle Mp3s and Videos? But If I open music player it is showing the mp3s but not videos.

I've had a C6-00 for over a year now, with no problems.Today I started getting messages whilst trying to view my photos " Memory full. Close some applications and try again."I checked the memory I have free,C: Phone memory158.0MB FreeE: Memory Card1.0GB freeAlso, the photos on my memory card will not show up when I open my photos and look under 'All' It only shows the photos that are on the phone memory, the memory card photos are nowhere to be seen. My xpressmusic 5800 has decided to stop reading my memory card. It is the original 8gb micro sd card from Nokia. I'm no longer able to use apps such as Ovi Maps and I don't have enough memory to update it.I haven't dropped the phone nor have I removed the memory card until after it stopped reading.What can I do? It has some stuff on there I would like to keep as I hadn't got round to uploading it so even if I had the option to would I be able to retrieve some data off it?

I have an Mac running the Tiger OSX operating system. Because this is an older OS, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software will not run on my computer. So far, I refuse to pay $170 to upgrade my computer just to run the Blackberry software. Instead, I manually drag my music files from iTunes onto my phone and then organize them later. My problem is as follows:Only some of the music appears on my phone, while much of it does not. At first, I thought this was a DRM issue with iTunes, but some of my downloaded iTunes music does appear and is playable on my BlackBerry.Regardless of how little music appears in my phone's media folder, my BlackBerry memory reflects that I uploaded the FULL amount of my music!Now, the latest problem. When I connect my phone to my Mac and try to delete all the files, they completely disappear from the phone and I still have a massive amount of occupied memory!Failed resolution attempts include: Restarting BlackBerry, battery pull, searching all over my phone's folders via my Mac looking for lost files (none found).

As I use my bold 9790, it keeps saying that my applications storage memory is 512 MB although the phone's internal memory is 8 GB! So is there anyway to increase that limited storage space for apps?? Also, does that space increase if I use an external micro SD memory?

The card works fine in everything else I put it in but no card I put in the device works... Now it dose another thing asking format the memory card when it does still can not b used....

Got a Bold 9780 on Orange from Carphonewarehouse in February this year. In June the phone stopped reading SD cards. Was sent away via the carphonewarehouse repair center and another phone came back. This phone has now come up with the same problem. Will not read any SD card and these cards work on other Blackberry or PC etc. I have tried all the remedies out there. Reinstalled the OS. Started the phone without the Sd card etc.

I have had this Blackberry for nearly a year now and all of a sudden it does not recognize my media card. I thought it was the media card, so I bought another one but it doesn't seem to recognize that one either. It used to read all the memory cards before, which is confusing. I need my Blackberry to be able to read my media card again

how to fix the jvm 545 error. I tried to use the desktop manager to update the OS or reinstall, however, it does not give the option to reload the OS. The message only says: no update available and option to subscribe to new OS release.
There is no apploader as well. I am using the latest desktop software. Also i cannot connect with battery on as it always reboot due to the jvm 545 error.

I had a Bold 9700 and now have a Bold 9790...I switched my micro-sd card over to the 9790..and even though , in options, I have selected to save pictures to the media card whenever I take a picture it is saved on the camera and not the card..

out of a sudden..my bold 9790 switch itself off...then when i tried to switch it on again, it won't start..i've tried charging the battery and few attempts to switch it on by pressing the power button, it just would not start...then i tried to connect it to my Pc usinf blackberry desktop, i would not detect.

I have a prob with my one week old (!) 5800 phone. Its 8GB memory card became invisible (file browser says- E: NO MEMORY CARD INSERTED) while I was browsing internet (on the screen suddenly appeared 'it is advised to choose Remove memory card first in phone menu, and then remove it' or smth like that).Now no formatting capabilities in phone menu. I have tried another Memory Card 1GB, Nokia made, and it is invisible too. My old Nokia E51i file manager can read both cards.The phone is ONE WEEK from an authorised Nokia shop, no damages, no fall.

I just updated my USCellular Tour to v5.0.0.419 from MTS Mobility, the Girlfriend's & GF's sister's VZW Tours to the Alltel v5.0.0.419.GF just sent me a BBM saying she can't save pictures to her memory card, and that its giving her an "Error 12" error.
