View 8 Replies View Relatedi have the blackberry bold 9790, my memory card had alot of photos and videos until one day i accessed my photos folder and realised the pics and vids on the memory card werent showing up. An error message appears 'Built-in media storgae not accessible due to detected errors. do you wish to repair, when i click yes another message comes up stating 'select the storgae you want to repair' it has the only built in media option and cancel so i click built in media now it states 'built in media repair failed, you can try to repair by mounting as a usb drive on windows and running chkdsk. or you can reformat. do you want to reformat now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs I use my bold 9790, it keeps saying that my applications storage memory is 512 MB although the phone's internal memory is 8 GB! So is there anyway to increase that limited storage space for apps?? Also, does that space increase if I use an external micro SD memory?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9790, the touch screen has recently stopped working and so i phoned my service provider where i got the handset from and they told me to back up and factory reset my phone. this did not work so i have just phoned my service provider again and they are sending me a new handset out tomorrow. he told me to back up my phone again and return the handset to the courier. i have plugged my blackberry into my computer to back everything up and it gets to smart card options 1 of 1 and doesn't move. it then tells me there is a problem with backing up my handset.
View 3 Replies View RelatedBug: 9790: Wikitude does not work and cannot be upgraded
Priority: Low (Guess nobody is going to use Wikitude now anyway)
Severity: Low
Note: I understand that this is not a RIM application, but this is a pre-installed application in BlackBerry Bold 9790, so please take care of this. I tried to document the issue as much as possible.I cannot re-test, simply because I don't know how to install old-version. So these are the steps I went to reach to the bug:
1) have a 9790 Bold with the BlackBerry OS 7.0 as it was officially sold
2) upgrade to Bundle 2466 (7.0.0.609, platform 9.16.0.77)
3) fully upgrade all official RIM software from AppWorld (Protect, Facebook etc)
4) setup the phone to use the location services
5) launch Wikitude OBSERVE:Wikitude starts and appears window "Version no longer supported. Please update" and button "OK"
6) click button "OK"OBSERVE: Wikitude closes and opens browser with URL:[URL]Two button appears: "Download" and "Cancel" and checkbox "Set application permissions"
7) check the checkbox "Set application permissions" (same end-test result is observed with this checkbox unchecked)
8) click button "Download"Observe: window appears: "Wikitude: Wikitude GmbH contains a module called Wikitude. A module with that name already exists in the "Wikitude" application. If you proceed "Wikitude" will be replaced by Wikitude:Wikitude GmbH. Proceed?"
Buttons "Yes" and "No" appear.
9) click button "Yes"Observe: Download process starts, downloading file with 4366kb size Observe: after successful download a new window appears with message "Error" and buttons "Ok" and "Details".
10) Click button "Details"Observe: New window with message "Invalid COD" appears and buttons "OK" and "Copy"
11) Click button "OK"Observe: Window is closed and "Wikitude" application is not installed.
How do u do that on the 9700? i use file explorer..i dont see any option for copy or move.
View 8 Replies View RelatedHi, Guys, I just brought my bb bold...I realize I only got 128 mb to download my application only. But I have a 1GB internal Memory. How come I can't use the 1 GB internal Memory to dl Application instead of the 128mb? (Ps: is this the right Place to ask this question)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought my 9900 and have only downloaded about 7 apps, however I often get a message saying my internal memory is low and I need to delete some languages to free some space. Whenever this message comes up my phone right side very slow, when I try to open a app or file it takes very long and mybphone freezes for a while. If I do a battery pull my phone runs properly for a day or so, until I'm greeted by the same low memory message. I've got no memory card and only a handful of media files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhy can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

View 4 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have any tips or tricks to free up storage? My understanding is the phone has 512MB, however out of the box, maybe 60MB tops to install anything. I realize you can't expect the full 512, but having less than 100MB is pretty ridiculous.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat is the best way to either rip a dvd or download a movie then transfer it to the internal memory? I'm fine with purchasing so steps to acquire a movie for free aren't important. I bought a movie thru Google Play which worked great until I was in a rural area with poor signal and the video kept buffering. Got me thinking relying on the cloud isn't the best option all the time. Would be nice to watch a movie while on a plane like I could with my ipod.

My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..
I have Blackberry Curve 9300 and its internal memory is 256MB only. Whenever i try to install new apps, the memory always lacks. How would it be possible for us to install apps directly on media card and use it on phone. I have googled and found that can be archived and used so that the apps will be saved on the media card, but by doing so still the phone memory only occupied.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had a Xperia Neo for 2 weeks now, and the available internal memory already dropped from 260 to 209. Just today I still had 221, then I updated 4 apps (I only have like 5 extra apps, it updated speech recognition, touchnote,..) and it dropped to 209. At this rate I will have no internal memory by the end of the year.. I move everything to SD with APPS2SD when possible. Any tips on keeping the internal memory high?
