View 4 RepliesI was wondering how difficult it would be to do a hardware upgrade on the Bold 9000 increasing the app memory from 128mb to 256mb. What other changes have to be made to facilitate this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just installed OS 5.0.0.822 and runnin windows XP on my computer.anyway, for some reason I can't access my 4GB memory card using windows explorer like i used to. I do have "media card support" on, "Mass Storage Mode Support" on, and "Auto enable mass storage mode when connected" on.
Is there something i am doing wrong or setting that got changed?
My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..
I want to access my LG VN250's internal memory through the USB connection to my computer (if possible), and/or increase the space to store my text messages to unlimited (well, limited by my 2gb memory card). Can anyone help me with that?

I am not using an SD card and I'm trying to mount the internal memory as a drive in Windows, so that I can access and download pictures taken with the camera. When I plug it in, Windows mounts a removable drive but doesn't let me access it (insert card). Storage class driver is turned on (or off, makes no difference). BB desktop is installed, but doesn't help.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone else ran into this difficulty ... I just updated the Blackberry Desktop Software, and thank goodness it's stopped using Roxio bloatware to transfer my photos off of my phone (Pearl 8110). Unfortunately, the new MediaSync doesn't sync with the internal memory of my phone, so it appears that my photos are stranded for the moment. I was wondering if anyone else had run into this problem, and what solution you would recommend. I looked through the technical support docs, and I don't think I found anything that fits this.
1) Do I have to find an older version of the Blackberry Desktop software, transfer the photos, then upgrade again to the newest version with Media Sync and purchase a microSD card?
2) If I purchased a microSD card and installed it, would directing the camera to store on the microSD card automatically move over the photos I've already taken?
How to move those apps which are always stored in the internal memory to the sd card after gaining root access?

It does work on my wife's 9000 (bought at the same time from the same place). I've tried the increasing the volume button on the side. My profile is set to normal. I've tried going into the phone application and making sure mute was off, and default volume set to 75%.It does work normally when I put headphones in during a call.Any suggestions, or is it defective?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a question on the "Memory" usage in BB Bold 9000 that i own. When I install APPS from BB App World, it shows me memory bar and now it has reached to 10 MB FREE (IN RED - which obviously means it is too low.)
Questions :
1) Does this mean that I wont be able to install more apps as those 10 MB will exhaust pretty soon?
2) Is there a way to install apps elsewhere if the above is true? I have a 8 GB MicroSD card installed. Would it work normally?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my blackberry internal screen broke 3 unfortunate days ago because I sat on it when it was in my back pocket. Now it's almost exam time and I have lots of notes on it in The memos. Is it possible to get these memos?I connected it to my computer to move The data from my phone to my laptop, but it had a password and as people with passwords know, you need to enter it twice to connect. I just remembered that I used to backup my data with blackberry protect so there's still hope for me yet!

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought my 9900 and have only downloaded about 7 apps, however I often get a message saying my internal memory is low and I need to delete some languages to free some space. Whenever this message comes up my phone right side very slow, when I try to open a app or file it takes very long and mybphone freezes for a while. If I do a battery pull my phone runs properly for a day or so, until I'm greeted by the same low memory message. I've got no memory card and only a handful of media files.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Bold 9000 but don't have a memory card inserted. As far as I know, I don't have too many programs running. But my Bold has acted up a few times telling me I'm running on low memory. As of now I have:
Application Memory, Free Space:6.2 MB
Device Memory, Total Space: 8592.2 MB
Device Memory, Free Space, 766.6 MB
Why can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 with ATT. I have constant low app memory problems. It is almost always under 10MB, and alot of times it is around 1-2MB. Here is a list of apps listed on the "Switch Application" menu: BB App World, Gmail Plugin, Home Screen, Visual VM, BB Messenger, Phone, Messages, Browser. I don't think any of these are the problem. A list of my downloaded Apps are: Atlanta Braves, CBS Sports, Weatherbug, ESPN, AP News, Google Maps, Bible App, Where, CBS Radio, Scoremobile, Stitcher Radio, Facebook, and Poynt. I assume I could get rid of those. Do you think there is too much downloaded? Is there a way to get rid of some of the defaults pre loaded apps such as: MobiTV, Mobile Banking, My Cast Weather, Wikimobile? Could someone point me in the right direction here.
