View 7 Replies View Relatedi have my xperia neo v upgraded with ics 4.0.4. i see lot of apps in the phone memory like ( office suite, astro file manager, Internet etc., ). i tried to move these apps to the memory card, but the option "move to sd card" is disabled for these apps. since the phone memory of xperia neo v is less, i want to remove these apps from the phone memory or want to move these apps completely to the sd card.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter updating the 9930 to software 7.1 when the phone reboots using the option in App World after installing an app, I notice the phone cannot access the files stored on the memory card using a software reboot.Only by doing a battery pull does the phone recognise the media card contents and then I can access it. Therefore everytime I install an app I have to do a battery pull to restart the phone as the restart option from the App World in the phone makes the files on the media card not to be seen.This bug was not present before I did the upgrade to 7.1 bundle 1737?

Today I tried moving instagram and fb messenger to the sd card from phone memory and when I tried opening those apps they froze where I had to remove the battery . After I removed the battery they started working fine .. Any benefits into moving apps to sd card ?? or should I try to leave all the apps on phone memory ..

When i look at the "apps" (settings > apps> downloaded) i realised that there is still memory taken up in the phone storage although i have moved it to the sd card ( selecting "move to sd card" after tapping the app ) . i have a SE neo v. The phone has an internal memory of 420 mb and a sd card of 32 GB. There are several applications which i have downloaded from the andorid market. Most of these applications have consumed most of the internal memory. some of the applications do not get transferred to the SD card and are only retained in the SD card. now when i want to download new applications or update current applications, it says the memory is full. how do i transfer the applications to the SD card from the internal memory and download fresh applications. The applications are not visible when connected to the computer. Moreover, many of the applications are pre-set when the phone was purchased. Will the phone work if all the applications are transferred from the internal memory to the SD card.

After app back up I then reinstall form sd card and the internal mem goes down, I am on about 44mb at the moment. It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?
Cant delete some of the preset rubbish and cant seem to move stuff to card, had a play with an application manager but scared the **** out of me and looked really complicated Battery has also suddenly become awful and I use task manager to shut everything down every time I use anything,not been a prob before and been on 2.1 a while now?
