View 1 RepliesHow to move those apps which are always stored in the internal memory to the sd card after gaining root access?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?
When having the camera save photos to the internal memory, or the SD card, then connecting the phone in MTP USB mode to get the files , the timestamps on the photos are incorrect. I'll take a picture at 5:00PM or something and the file is modified at 3AM etc.
I just took a photo saved to the SD card at 8:49AM and the timestamp is 3:49PM.
After installing many apps my phone now says that its low on memory. but i do have 1.75 GB available space on my memory card. How can I install the Apps on memory card instead of phone memory?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone else ran into this difficulty ... I just updated the Blackberry Desktop Software, and thank goodness it's stopped using Roxio bloatware to transfer my photos off of my phone (Pearl 8110). Unfortunately, the new MediaSync doesn't sync with the internal memory of my phone, so it appears that my photos are stranded for the moment. I was wondering if anyone else had run into this problem, and what solution you would recommend. I looked through the technical support docs, and I don't think I found anything that fits this.
1) Do I have to find an older version of the Blackberry Desktop software, transfer the photos, then upgrade again to the newest version with Media Sync and purchase a microSD card?
2) If I purchased a microSD card and installed it, would directing the camera to store on the microSD card automatically move over the photos I've already taken?
I accidentally deleted a photo gallery on my sister's LG 4. I tried all the recovery programs available online. Most programs do not recognize the LG 4 for some reason I read but don't remember. I am also not techy enough to root the phone. It blows my mind that this smartphone doesn't have a recycle bin or a go-back feature where you can recover deleted items.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Storm 3590 which no longer shows anything on the display;it is black.I desperately need to retrieve my photos from it.I believe they are located on the "internal" storage partition, as they are not located on the Sandisk media card that is installed. When I attempt to view / retrieve the photos from this phone via the Blackberry Desktop Software (ver. 6.0.0.40) I get the following message:"You need to turn on mass storage mode from the connected Blackberry device to use this feature. This may require you to reconnect your device."I have fully charged the battery & removed / installed the battery numerous times, but have had no luck.I was able to see the pictures the first couple of times I connected the phone to my laptop.

I have had a Xperia Neo for 2 weeks now, and the available internal memory already dropped from 260 to 209. Just today I still had 221, then I updated 4 apps (I only have like 5 extra apps, it updated speech recognition, touchnote,..) and it dropped to 209. At this rate I will have no internal memory by the end of the year.. I move everything to SD with APPS2SD when possible. Any tips on keeping the internal memory high?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a SE neo v. The phone has an internal memory of 420 mb and a sd card of 32 GB. There are several applications which i have downloaded from the andorid market. Most of these applications have consumed most of the internal memory. some of the applications do not get transferred to the SD card and are only retained in the SD card. now when i want to download new applications or update current applications, it says the memory is full. how do i transfer the applications to the SD card from the internal memory and download fresh applications. The applications are not visible when connected to the computer. Moreover, many of the applications are pre-set when the phone was purchased. Will the phone work if all the applications are transferred from the internal memory to the SD card.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had my X10 Mini for a reasonable amount of time when I decided to update it with the Update Service that I had downloaded from Sony Ericsson. When I did this, it reset all my internal memory, making me lose my notes, calendar, android apps, google setup, and settings. Even when I tried backup and restore, it didn't work. Is there any way to recover this lost data?

A lot of things around are in French, so I didn't know that it was an English forum only.So I used a translator and I hope that it is possible to understand.I just know a few words, and the questions are not very easy to write .Here's my first message, if you can read it...ill Android 4 not affect the performance of my gsm? Recommend me?It is a model more former which corresponds to my needs (size, robustness, full keyboard, price... # but that is not as powerful as the new...)I regret moreover that this type of model is abandoned, I do run high risk to my gsm # which explains my requirements: motorcycle, horseback...) !If I switch to Android 4, what measures to take to lose any data? Why does exist - it not, as on the x 10 mini pro, a backup application and restoration which took into account all the parameters?I had to fight to find an app I can retrieve my sms...Most of the proposed synchros do not support all of the data.
In addition, PC Companion tends to demand Outlook, mine is so old that it is not running on this PC.On my other computer, I have tried several routes to reinstall PC Companion, without success...Why this software does not a full backup of the internal memory? For the memory card, just make a copy. So, I went in all directions, with questions in bulk, but I spent hours to configure an device that is never as the successor of mineI have a new problem. I've made everything they said with the battery when I bought the phone. After a few days, the battery can't stand one day. Or I used the phone a few minutes to show pictures, I had a call (2 minutes), nothing more... I'm not really happy because to change the battery, I have to send the phone and they reinitialize everything
My internal/phone memory in my x10 mini seems to be going down even though my sd card holds all my stuff. After app back up I then reinstall form sd card and the internal mem goes down, I am on about 44mb at the moment. I thought it would run from the sd card so the internal memory would not be effected as the other day a message said on my phone that memory was getting low! I have over 5gb spare.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust encountered this issue3 days ago when I got notified that internal memory is about 75% full, so I did transfer those suggested files including images. After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all.

The problem is that it is adding on to my internal memory, why is this happening when I have sync my contacts with gmail. I do not have any contact on my phone. If I can find a solution for this, it will save 7.5mb of my space, where in I can accommodate something useful.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhy can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.
