In the 1st week of March, all the photos stored on my neo phone disappeared all of a sudden. I do not see them in the DCIM folder as well. I have seen in many andriod forums that other andriod phone users had also this problem. If there is a way I could get back my old photos.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my Xperia X10 mini pro all my notes disappeared even though I did a back-up. I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am about 12-13 months in to an 18 month contract with 3. My W595 has recently started to play up. It is a random occurrence so I cannot just take it in to a shop and show what is happening and going wrong. I have over 290 contacts and details in my phone. Sometimes when I reach for my phone and press the down button to get to my contacts there is nothing there apart from New Contact and My Numbers. All of the contacts have disappeared. Not only do the contacts disappear but so do all the stored text messages that I want to keep a bit longer before deleting. Fortunately I meticulously back my phone up using PC Suite so at least I can get them back again, but that in it self has it's problems, which I will explain further down. My contacts are stored in the phone memory, (there too many to store on the SIM). All other data, such as the calender, photos and notes remain intact and OK, I can only surmise that this data is stored away from the phone memory on the SD card so it cannot "disappear" in the same way.
I have reported this to 3 tech support but all they do is get me to check for updates to the phone software, (which happens to be current anyway). I just reinstall using the update facility and be done with it. The crazy thing is that because my confidence level is so low at the moment, I have to cart my laptop with me when I go away for wekends, just in case I lose everything again. The phone and the laptop have to be kept together for obvious reasons. The problem was reported to 3 well before the 12 month warranty ran out so any more reported problems that are connected will be covered in the event of a claim being made. They won't send a replacement phone whilst my own phone is away for analysis. I cannot do without the phone and the contents.
I have made my mind up to leave 3 at the end of the contract and I do not want another Sony Ericsson phone - I want to go back to Nokia, I never had any trouble with them. At the moment, I just feel as though I am limping with this W595 to the end of a painful 18 months. Has, or is anyone else experiencing similar problems with their W595? PC Suite Problem. My main problem with PC Suite when used in conjunction with my Sony Ericsson W595 phone is that there is no facility to produce a hard copy or print of the contacts list. I will need to do this when I change phones at the end of my contract to make it easier to input them into the new phone, (which hopefully will be a Nokia!). The only method that I have found is to do a "Print Screen" or a Screen Capture. Of course this has to be done several times to be able to cover nearly 300 contacts and all their input details.
I tried to transfer photos from droid phone to my iphone. They get paired with each other but transfer of photo get failed.

I have been using the Xperia mini/pro for a little over a month. Took lots of pictures - no problem. Then took some today, and somehow mysteriously they have disappeared...or at least turned into an icon looking like a sign of a broken mountain... How to retrieve these pictures, if possible?!

I recently recieved a replacement DX2. I think when I recieved the replacement phone, I forgot un unmount the SD card from the old phone.When I plug the phone into my computer, I see that photos are stored in the DCIM folder for both the E: drive Removable disk and in K: drive MOT. Why is this? Should I drag the photos from K: over to E: ?Also, I am using Quickpic as a gallery viewer so I can store the photos in folders.

I've checked the filters, that's not the problem (and it shouldn't affect the phone log either, right?)
I've tried closing the "contacts" app and clearing the data, that didn't do it either.

so my Nexus 5 just showed a Update Message today saying that Android 6.0 was available. I accepted the terms and started downloading it.After finishing it asked me if i wanted to restart it, when i did nothing happened it just went back o the check for update dialog box. I tried restarting the phone but nothing happens, it does not detect android 6 again and it does not install the one that got downloaded.
