I would like to transfer my contacts, photos etc. from my Iphone to my new computer so that when I need to sync my phone I will retain everything just as it is now on my Iphone. At the moment, when I try and sync my computer states that I will lose everything on my Iphone.

Jan 23, 2016I recently got an LG V10 (I know, I know, I hated giving up Windows Phone but I had to), and the ATT store was unable to transfer my SIM contacts to my new phone. The SIM from my 1020 was larger than the SIM for the V10, and apparently it's not possible for them to use their software to transfer SIM contacts off of Windows phone because of software restrictions.
I'd really like to get my contacts from my old SIM card transferred to my new phone but I can't figure out how to do it. I connected my 1020 to my computer but I can't find the SIM contacts anywhere in the file directory.

But when I transfer photos, just normal jpegs, when I go to Mediascape and photos, nothing is there? Where do they go on the phone, I cant find any folder that has them in?

May 10, 2013So I'm still figuring out the HTC One, coming from an iPhone. I want to just drag and drop photos from my phone onto my computer (Mac). I've connected via USB and used both HTC Sync Manager and Android File Transfer, but I cannot find where the photos live. When I go into the Pictures folder in File Transfer, all I see are screen captures. Surely there's a way to just drag and drop pics from the phone to your computer? What am I missing here?

I have the phone plugged in through USB. The iMac doesn't seem to recognize it. When I open iTunes though, of course I can see it. But I can find absolutely no utility to allow me to transfer the photos to my computer.

When I export my contacts list, it creates a VCF file containing (supposed to be) all my contacts but it only has 1 contact (the first in the list). I tried viewing this file using PC Companion and it was confirmed that it only contains 1 contact. I tried transfering (Copy/Paste) this to my PC and opened this in MS Outlook, only 1 contact was opened. I tried the 'Send All Contacts' via bluetooth and it also transfered 1 contact.
