how to download photos from my laptop to my phone using the USB cable? I can download music from my pc to my phone. I can download videos from my laptop to my phone. But when I transfer photos, just normal jpegs, when I go to Mediascape and photos, nothing is there? Where do they go on the phone, I cant find any folder that has them in?
transfering photos from my pc to my phone so they appear in "Photos" in Mediascape would be great.

I have a sony ericson experia 8 mobile. In sd card there are some photoes. I want to transfer those photoes to my pc. I tried to transfer those photoes but I couldn`t. I removed the sd card & tried to transfer, at that time also I couldn`t to transfer. I transfer those photoes using a use guide.Please help me to transfer those photoes to pc.

Just encountered this issue3 days ago when I got notified that internal memory is about 75% full, so I did transfer those suggested files including images. After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all.

How can I change the name of the taken photos from camera, cuz every time I upload my photos to a cloud storage and empty my phone, the name of the photos retune automatically to DCS_0022. So when I upload the photos again to the cloud I have to rename them because there are other photos with the same name.

I bought Xperia Pro mini and was told i will be able to trasfer files via bluetooth to other devices. Unfortunately, my phone cannot be detected by other phone eventhough the bluetooth is on. Even if I pair it with other phone & devices..it aint working.

I can't transfer my photos to my PC -it says that there are no photos available to download (I have over 2000 photos on my iphone).

My old buddy, W880i, has died after 3 yrs of loyal services. Before it died off, I managed to backup the entire sms data using Sony Ericsson PC Suit (.txt + .cah)
Now with the same software, it automatically updated itself to PC Companion, now I have trouble restoreing sms data (.txt + .cah files) to X8 It seems they use different file system It's hard to believe Sony Ericsson didn't prepare for such migration

I would like to transfer my Contacts from my X8 to a PC and a Nokia phone. When I export my contacts list, it creates a VCF file containing (supposed to be) all my contacts but it only has 1 contact (the first in the list). I tried viewing this file using PC Companion and it was confirmed that it only contains 1 contact. I tried transfering (Copy/Paste) this to my PC and opened this in MS Outlook, only 1 contact was opened. I tried the 'Send All Contacts' via bluetooth and it also transfered 1 contact.

I am a long time iPhone user and switched to Xperia Z2 recently. As the my old iPhone is pretty much old and I want to use Z2 as my working phone. One of the questions I came across is how to copy all of my contacts(200+) from iPhone to Z2? As they are totally different plaftforms and can't think up a way to get it done.

Just bought a Xpeia Z2, First Android I've had!I've got all my music, videos and photos saved on my SD card..But the 16GB Internal memory is already half full from apps/games and I don't even have that many installed yet.How can I download apps to/Transfer apps to the SD card so I an use the whole 64GB of memory.
