Google Nexus 5 :: Cannot Mount /cache (No External Storage Available)

My colleague was trying to unlock bootloader "fastboot oem unlock" and after that it stuck on erasing userdata for around 2 hours. Then he restart device now while flashing it says "cannot mount /cache"and few other errors.
I tried flashing Stock 5.0/5.1 nothing works (Stuck at loading screen). Then i tried Android 4.4.4 and it worded.
Now at this point in recovery mode it still says "cannot mount /cache" and few other errors. I cannot use gallery/camera/playstore. When i open gallery it says "No external Storage available".

Google Nexus 5 :: Why Can't Transfer Files From Phone To PC
Oct 20, 2015I rarely plug my phone to my laptop, however I wanted to transfer a large amount of pictures today and got stuck.
When I plug my phone in the PC, the phone is recognized as a "media device" but the folder is fully empty, and nothing can be done.
Looking at previous forum posts, I have tried to check if the MTP was enabled, however I could not find the option (when I go to settings, storage and USB, all I can see is information about apps, there is no menu i can access to reach the MTP.
What I could do in order to manage to download my pictures to my PC?

May 25, 2015Sometimes (not all the times, but I can't figure out a pattern), when looking at the photos in the stock Photos app on the phone, and when zoomed in 100%, they look distinctly poor quality, with pronounced jagginess and blurriness. It's almost as if they haven't "fully loaded" (for the lack of a better expression), which I think is quite normal when you first open a photo, but should disappear within a second or so, and the photo should be shown in its full quality.
When looking at the same photos on my computer (via Dropbox auto-upload), they look fine. And like I said, sometimes, they look fine on the phone too, but more often they don't.

Dec 29, 2015So I was on my way back from vacation yesterday, I had made a phone call a few minutes prior, and I noticed my screen wasn't coming on.Tried holding the power button - nothing.Tried charging - nothing.Tried every combo I could find on google, held them for minutes - nothing.Let it charge for an hour or so - nothing.Then randomly it started allowing me to get to the "Google" splash screen, then the screen would go black and become unresponsive again.
It's gotten a little better, but it is extremely random, sometimes I can get into recovery (TWRP), sometimes I can get the phone to charge, and sometimes it will do nothing at all.After getting into recovery a few times, I noticed that my SD card was wiped (only a TWRP folder remains) and it wasn't a few minutes before that - I did not wipe it.It will not boot, and trying to mount via USB doesn't work - it doesn't allow me to copy any files to try and re-flash the OS (stock rooted 6.0.1 with elemental x).Tried ADB push with no luck, it says file system is read-only.
I can un-toggle System / Data etc in TWRP to unmount them, but clicking to mount them does nothing, the box remains unchecked, and trying to do other things, such as start adb sideload, results in a buttload of mount /system errors..Battery is full (when I can get the phone to charge) and is a new OEM battery.Tried charging, not charging, and plugged into a USB port on my PC...does this sound like the internal memory is shot? How I can revive my lil' buddy???

Feb 25, 2014This is bizarre, everything was fine until this morning, not sure what's going on but the phone still comes up in Windows 8 file explorer, however as soon as I click the Internal Storage directory, file explorer stalls as the green progress bar slowly crawls along and eventually times out.
The phone says it's in MTP mode.
I looked at the driver supporting this phone for Windows 8 and it says it's from 2006. I found a link for installing thhe Google USB driver but there is no instructions for installing it in Windows 8, the phone not connecting to the computer in MTP mode which isn't an issue for me.
Rebooted the phone and tried again, no luck.

Oct 28, 2015Rooted, kitkat 4.4.4. I like to backup my entire nexus 5 to a large external sdcard using ES file explorer and stickmount pro. After an initial copy of all files it would be nice if I could copy "only changed or new files".
The 32gb sdcard is formatted fat32 and although I can copy files from the phone to it my backup failed when I tried to copy large files. I get an error message saying that there isn't enough space which is nonsense because the external sdcard is almost empty! Not sure why.
