I have something want to ask.Why my X10 internal storage keep decreasing after evertime I downloaded apps from android market.Even I have already move the app to SD card, but the it still ate a lot of my internal storage, Why?

Recently after few days later updating to lollipop device has stopped showing the files like images music files which are in internal storage in apps like album, music player, and even ringtones are not being detected, tried clearing media storage cache, apps reset to default also,
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to Marshmallow (MRA58K), installed some apps. Then I went to Storage & USB and discovered, that there is 3 GB memory used of 12,55GB. The list below showed, that less than half of the 3GB should be used. Where did my 1,6GB go?

I have moved my images,videos,ringtones,music (not many) and some apps that are allowed, to the SD card. The image shows that the music, pictures, videos, and some of the apps (it should be lower than 1.99gb) is still there. Am I doing something wrong? Even the SD card information still shows the total space of nothing being added..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have bought xperia NeoV 4 days ago, I need some clarity on the internal storage space.Like the Internal storage space is said to be 320 MB, but when I have checked in Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications in downloaded section the system says that internal storage consumed is 279 MB. But when I manually add the space consumed by each applications i get only 126 MB, can I see which folder/application is using 153 MB extra space and is hidden from display?Is the system showing extra space consumed than actual? I have cleared all the cache and history also, even though the phone displays 279 MB consumed. how can I regain that extra space which phone is not displaying.

After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all.

Iv bluetoothed photos from my old phone (at&t windows phone) and transfered some over from my windows labtop. Everything as far as i knew transfered over no problem. All there. When i opened gallery . all there. *** well as when i opened music. All my usic was displayed. then one day went to open up my music player and it showed no music. Went to gallery to find noting. So i then went to filemanager. it said 0 music and 0 images but all my documents were still there. then via filemanger>all files>internalstorage>pictures they were there but all displayed as stock mountain pic till i clicked on them individualy.

A week after buying this phone, I am running low on internal storage.The phone has 512 megs of storage, but even after I did a factory reset, I started with only 137 megs.I guess the operating system eats up most of that memory. T-mobile recommends always keeping 30 megs free, so the bottom line is I have just over 100 megs for apps.
What I don't understand is this.The phone came with an 8 gig microSD card, but I have read you can't store apps on this.So unless I am misunderstanding something here, I only have 100 megs for apps, but I have 8 gigs that are completely worthless unless I want to take tons of pictures or use my phone as an iPod. This can't be right, no company would be this stupid.So my question is, what am I doing wrong here? How am I supposed to manage my apps? I can't figure out how to move them to my SD card, and I don't even see a place on the marketplace where I can save a list of what I have downloaded for easy access later. The best I can figure, you have to constantly manage your apps, and then if you want one that you deleted, you have to search for it in the marketplace and download it again?
I just refuse to believe this is accurate. I've never had an iPhone before, but I have friends who do, and they never complain about running out of space for apps.

When I paste the Flac files into the phone, it prompts for file format not supported, then I click 'No, just Copy' and for all files. But then it only copies the first file (If I selected multiple files) and then freezes. When I cancel the process, the first file is copied successfully. I am using WIndows 8 and had same problem on WIndows 7 also.

When you plug in a password protected iPhone to a Windows computer, you are prompted whether you want to view/copy files. Even if you disable autoplay, you can still navigate to the device and access all files. This should only be possible if the device is unlocked. How can one disable this security hole?
