Finally i got another new sd card this time class 4 that actually works after trying for hours to get a class 6 which wouldnt have it, but now i'm upon a new problem i have a 32gb sd and i have moved most apps to sd which leaves me just over 100mb internal storage, but as you know you can't move certain apps, how can i clear more space once i have filled it? is there anyway to move all apps to sd as i dont want the message appearing all the time. and would like to keep apps all on my sd card
As the title says play music hasn't been updated to support storage formatted as internal when you download and save music. I formatted my storage on the Pure. Bummer.
I have bought xperia NeoV 4 days ago, I need some clarity on the internal storage space.Like the Internal storage space is said to be 320 MB, but when I have checked in Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications in downloaded section the system says that internal storage consumed is 279 MB. But when I manually add the space consumed by each applications i get only 126 MB, can I see which folder/application is using 153 MB extra space and is hidden from display? Is the system showing extra space consumed than actual? I have cleared all the cache and history also, even though the phone displays 279 MB consumed. how can I regain that extra space which phone is not displaying.
I can't seem to do a transfer from my internal storage to my SD card! Every time there comes a note with "transfer interrupted. Check your SD card for possibly transferred data." I have 7.56GB left of internal storage and 22.51 Gb left in my SD card! What should I do?
I have just upgraded the sd card to a 16gb. All went well, but I notice that the internal phone storage is just 4 mb. How can I increase the internal phone storage i.e. at the expense of some of the 16gb sd card storage?
I have something want to ask.Why my X10 internal storage keep decreasing after evertime I downloaded apps from android market.Even I have already move the app to SD card, but the it still ate a lot of my internal storage, Why?
Just encountered this issue3 days ago when I got notified that internal memory is about 75% full, so I did transfer those suggested files including images. After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all.
First one was my sony xperia TL automatically reset itself and deleted all memories, including SD card. I insisted to give Sony another try with xperia Z3 and thought that this could have been fixed since the other phone was too old. Bu it was unbelievable that this could happen again. Now I lost everything in the phone.
Recently after few days later updating to lollipop device has stopped showing the files like images music files which are in internal storage in apps like album, music player, and even ringtones are not being detected, tried clearing media storage cache, apps reset to default also,
I've run into a bit of a problem, as have MANY Photon 4G owners have as well.since mounting my Electrify as a USB mass storage device (the two "MOT" drives pop up in explorer), now the internal storage (which is where everything is) comes up as an unreadable drive. It mounted fine when I got it, then stopped working, then worked for a day, now it doesn't work.I've tried uninstalling drivers, taking out the battery, SD card, etc etc.
So I just downloaded an icon pack and an alert popped up telling me I have 2.33mb of internal storage space left. When I go to my settings then select storage, it says I still have over 18gb available of internal storage remaining.
im using LG G3 Stylus and just updated my android to lollipop. my internal storage suppose to be 8Gb but only show 4Gb. also i have 3.2Gb misc files. how i can get the full 8Gb drive and erase the Misc Files.
I'm new to the Android world and settled on a Mytouch Slide from T-mobile. A week after buying this phone, I am running low on internal storage. The phone has 512 megs of storage, but even after I did a factory reset, I started with only 137 megs.I guess the operating system eats up most of that memory. T-mobile recommends always keeping 30 megs free, so the bottom line is I have just over 100 megs for apps.
What I don't understand is this. The phone came with an 8 gig microSD card, but I have read you can't store apps on this.So unless I am misunderstanding something here, I only have 100 megs for apps, but I have 8 gigs that are completely worthless unless I want to take tons of pictures or use my phone as an iPod. This can't be right, no company would be this stupid. So my question is, what am I doing wrong here? How am I supposed to manage my apps? I can't figure out how to move them to my SD card, and I don't even see a place on the marketplace where I can save a list of what I have downloaded for easy access later. The best I can figure, you have to constantly manage your apps, and then if you want one that you deleted, you have to search for it in the marketplace and download it again?
I just refuse to believe this is accurate. I've never had an iPhone before, but I have friends who do, and they never complain about running out of space for apps.
I need to free storage of my iphone, i clean every thing but there are 6,6 gb that no are apps, music, photos, mail. Does anybody know how to check the internal storage?
I took a new sd card (strontium class 10 32gb nitro) I'm not able to tranfer files from internal storage to mcard through file manager (es file explorer)..it shows error moving files..
I am not able to copy Flac audio files from my PC to the Internal Storage of the HTC One. When I paste the Flac files into the phone, it prompts for file format not supported, then I click 'No, just Copy' and for all files. But then it only copies the first file (If I selected multiple files) and then freezes. When I cancel the process, the first file is copied successfully. I am using WIndows 8 and had same problem on WIndows 7 also.
When you plug in a password protected iPhone to a Windows computer, you are prompted whether you want to view/copy files. Even if you disable autoplay, you can still navigate to the device and access all files. This should only be possible if the device is unlocked. How can one disable this security hole?
Internal storage shows mounted but nothing shows up on android? Also when I plug in atrix to a computer the only thing that show up is the external sd card?
How can I access the internal storage? When I connect via USB, the only storage shown is the SD card I have installed. I can't see the internal storage. I would like to add my pictures from my old Captivate to my new Atrix 2 but I can't. I only have a 2G SD card, which has been fine for years since I save pictures to the phone's memory and do a back up periodically. So how do I put my old pictures on the phone, not the SD card? I have tried the USB, MotoLink (which I found out isn't compatible yet), and Phone Portal...nothing. Help please! On the Captivate, I could plug in the USB and two drives would appear...one for the phone's internal memory and one for the external SD card. Does it work that way with the Atrix 2?
After upgrading to marshmallow, the internal storage is no longer accessible from my computer. It only works when on twrp recovery mode. Already turned off USB debugging, changed MTP and back, reinstalled the latest ADB drivers, removed the ADB drivers completely and no cigar.
I have been using Nokia Lumia 1320 since a year. I have encountered a problem recently, a major one I would say. I just changed the memory card of 8GB which I have been using recently with a 16GB ones. All of a sudden the mobile started acting weirdly. In spite of storing music and videos in the memory card in their respective places, its been stored under "others" and couldn't be played. But when I go to "Music & Videos" and click on any new, recent links, the videos and audios are played. This type of playing is taking all my memory away. Now I am left with no apps in my mobile but still with 0bytes internal memory.
I am having the problem of writing to my internal storage. Ever since upgrading to 6.0.1 I have not been able to download anything successfully. I am currently on the current android version, do I need to have the phone encrypted for storage to read/write?
So as the subject says, somehow my internal storage moved to a different location in my phone. It moved from storage/emulated/0 to data/media/0 somehow. I don't know how but now my apps and file managers are unable to access my internal storage and I am unable to download anything from my browser. My nexus 5 is rooted with Android 6.0 and has experimentalx kernel with xposed. Other than that, my nexus 5 is stock. I tried using root browser and solid browser to move my internal storage back to the correct place but that just gives me an error. I also tried using Android commander to move my storage using my pc but it's giving me permission denied. So I don't know what to do.
