I have moved my images,videos,ringtones,music (not many) and some apps that are allowed, to the SD card. The image shows that the music, pictures, videos, and some of the apps (it should be lower than 1.99gb) is still there. Am I doing something wrong? Even the SD card information still shows the total space of nothing being added..

The S5 implementation of the data was horrible and Samsung is not to concerned it seems. At least Apple clearly outlines how and where the data is stored.
I had an iphone 4 that was 32 gigs and now am trying to restore my new i phone 4s that is 16 gigs. I think I may have too many pics to fit into the 16 gigs. Will this create problems restoring? Can I restore this new phone and leave the old pictures out?

I am having a hard time finding stuff to delete, because the System Data is taking up more and more of my storage. Is there any way I can reclaim most of it back? I transferred most, if not all, of the storage consuming apps to my SD card.

My email application used 373mb of data in two days just synching two Hotmail accounts, and I don't get many emails! My Nokia was set to use push email every 15 minutes and hardly used any of my 1Gb allowance on Virgin mobile UK. I have had to set my S2 to never synch and do it manually instead, which is rather annoying upgrading to a phone which can't do what my older one did perfectly, I am using the S2 's own data usage tool to monitor my usage,I assume it is accurate?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I have new 3gs iphones with AT&T and I've noticed over the past 2-3 days my speaker volume has decreased to a point it's very noticeable compared to hers. I've made sure all volume levels are set to max on both phones, called a recorded msg and we both can hear a big difference between the two phones whether on speaker on not. In fact it's getting hard for me to hear someone unless I have volume set to max where 3 days ago and back I had volume set to ~ 75% of max. I've read about cleaning speaker covers, etc. but not sure if I should do this. My iphone is appx. 6 weeks old and hers in less than 4 weeks.Not sure if there is some setting I may have 'messed' with or not.

I cannot update to ios5 to get cloud without losing all my stored contacts music and photos. Is there any way around this without purchasing a new computer, which with a new baby we cannot afford. I could afford to pay for extra cloud storage, though.

The volume couldn't be changed unless i unplug the earphone. My Lumia 1020 is already updated to Lumia Black.I'm not sure it's the Black update or issue on Nokia Mix Radio or anything else.

I recently replaced (under warrenty) my Bionic and it was a pain. I backed up everthing (app data that is) thinking the "backup" was going to the SD card, since all I got was a file address (or name). Once I moved the battery, SIM and SD card from one phone to the other, I realized that all the files were on the internal staroage and still on the old phone, not the SD card. This meant moving all of the hardware back to the old phone, finding all of the files stored on the internal storage, moving them to the SD card, switching everything back to the new phone and moving the files from the SD card to the internal storage - all the time hoping I got them in the right place (which wasn't necessarily the case all of the time).

I have had my zoom for 3 or 4 months,maybe longer, and I notice that my battery life is slowly decreasing in time available before having to re-charge. I bought my xoom as reburbished, but understood it had the same warranty as if new bu Motorola. Initially I could go 2-3 days without charging, just by letting the unit go to sleep. Now it only lasts for a day or day in a half.

After that I think it decrease too much and almost 1% per minute when surfing. But one thing I might be wrong is killing apps in the multitasking menu. Will that increase or decrease battery life? I am thinking maybe it will decrease rather since it is more of an effort to reload the program then having it idle in memory. Am I wrong and what else could affect battery life? I purchased the $100 per year additional storage, however, upon purchasing it, my phone has still not upgraded to the additional storage and will not allow me to take anymore pics; it says go to settings & upgrade storage, I did that already, but it is still reading the old 5 storage bites. I do not know what else to do! I tried to reboot my phone, that did not work, after rebooting I thought perhaps if hooked it up to my laptop and tried to sync it that might help, it says itunes cannot sync due to not having enough storage, go to settings to upgrade storage.

I have a new T-Mobile S6 Edge and love the phone, but one thing I have not figured out is why I still get background mobile data usage even though I have disabled mobile data and set "restrict background data". Both tuiService and OS services are downloading approximately 100K at a time periodically over mobile data throughout the day even though I have a wifi connection.
