Today I tried moving instagram and fb messenger to the sd card from phone memory and when I tried opening those apps they froze where I had to remove the battery . After I removed the battery they started working fine .. Any benefits into moving apps to sd card ?? or should I try to leave all the apps on phone memory ..
View 21 Replies View RelatedOk everything was working fine till I inserted the memory card back into my phone after copying a video file.I hear a tone that it has detected the memory card but don't see any notification that it is installing memory card apps as it used to show. All my apps are gone but when I check the apps manager, it lists all the previously installed apps are installed. :s No apps icons visible in the apps folder but memory card detected and can be accessed via file manager.I have already removed and reinserted the card several times and turned the phone on/off.What to do ? Are there any files that can be copied so that the phone autodetects the installed apps?

Is it possible to move an app to the 32gb internal memory from main memory. I know that the external sd card is read only but why can't you move an app from main memory to internal memory like you can with a phone? The move to sd card is always grayed.

1. Moved twitter app to sd card: It took around 10-15 mins and after that i couldnt open twitter. I had to uninstall it and then install again to use it and in the process lost the data.
2. Moved all my images from phone to sd card but it didnt free up phone memory at all and sd memory filled up
I used storage sense for moving twitter app and used gallery to move images.
