Nokia :: N70 Memory Card I Have Lost All The Pre-installed Applications
Apr 15, 2010
I am a NOKIA N70 ME user.Recently i formatted its memory card. Now the problem is that i have lost all the pre-installed applications, which came in MMC.How can i get back those applications?
when ever i do hard format in my symbian belle, i cant see the apps installed in my memory card while when i check the files via 3rd party app like x-plore, i found they r present. The application manager ie- in ''already installed'' also don't show any apps. Thus i always have to re install those apps and due to this some missing apps that r already installed in the card simply uses some amount of free space that is for no use So tell me if there any way to prevent the apps from not showing in menu as well in app manager after hard reset.
I want to replace my current memory card for one of a bigger capacity but want to move the apps that are stored on it over to the new card. Not sure how to go about this or even if you can.
Ok everything was working fine till I inserted the memory card back into my phone after copying a video file.I hear a tone that it has detected the memory card but don't see any notification that it is installing memory card apps as it used to show. All my apps are gone but when I check the apps manager, it lists all the previously installed apps are installed. :s No apps icons visible in the apps folder but memory card detected and can be accessed via file manager.I have already removed and reinserted the card several times and turned the phone on/off.What to do ? Are there any files that can be copied so that the phone autodetects the installed apps?
I'm using Nokia x2-01. In just a twinKle of an eye I Lost all the preinstalled games and apps, all the gallery files and web browser including six menu items of the phone they are calculator; life tools, chat, communities and mail. I tried to download a game from Nokia store, it says certificate not on phone. Tried to update software it says no provider found. Requested for service settings from my service provider it says my device is not recognized.
I have E71. I just upgrated to latest firmware and phone just restarted but asking me to enter the memory card password. I can't recall the password. Please can any one tell me what is default password ? OR if password is lost how to reset it ?
I recently formatted my phone and memory card and lost the nokia maps data from the card. While updating with nokia suit it says "can't find maps on phone". What can I do for getting back the data?
I lost my 256mb micro sd memory card password which was set in nokia 5300 express music phone. I am not able to read the mc in any other phone. Please suggest me how to find out the lost password..
I just got my E72. Replaced the memory card with a bigger one, then did an update...Now, I lost my shortcuts on the main screen.Bad news is that the old memory card is formatted, so I cant just reinstall by using that. I also tried a soft reset, which gave me the message: "Close all active connections" without any connections being active.
I've recently had to reformat my memory card as the camera refused to work with the memory card inserted. I took off all pics, videos and music and saved them to the computer. However, when I've gone back to the Ovi store and into the "my stuff" tab, I cannot click the download button on many of the apps (mainly the ones that I actually use which makes it even more annoying). My husband has told me to go into "settings", then "application manager", then finally into "installed apps" and delete the files for the apps that I would like to reinstall (to reactivate the download button again). fantastic idea, but the file names don't give me any sort of clue as to what app they're for. I asked if it would be quicker and easier just to delete everything from the "installed apps" folder, at which point my husband nearly had a breakdown and told me not to do that as there were files in that folder that relate to firmware downloads and could cause more problems by deleting them.
i've bought a 16 GB memory card for my Neo V. I want to move all my stuff including all the installed applications from my old memory card to the new one.
i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
for something reason, my phone started to be DAMN slow and laggy, when i try to go menu, it takes about 10 seconds to get to menu, and all is laggy in this phone. When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted. Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...
I know there has been a ton of posts about this subject and I have wrote one myself just a few days ago and I got my **** chewed out for even mentioning it. Well I guess the Android platform has just about got that problem licked. They are just around the corner from letting this jewel out. The people from Google said it may be just a "little" slower but will be very usable. The response I received from the forum was that the 9700 had plenty of storage for as many apps as you needed and still operate fast. Agreed but what will happen with the new OS and this great browser around the corner arrives. Many of the phones won't be able to use the new OS because of memory problems so that tells me that it may slow down the 9700 if too many apps are loaded. That is where the ability to save and run apps from memory card will be needed. Android put it together very fast why the **** can't Rim or some company put one together that works?
how do i change the memory settings as I want to save all my applications on my memory card. I have barely managed to install 3-4 applications and messengers. I says that memory is full please delete some applications.
I want to replace my current memory card for one of a bigger capacity but want to move the apps that are stored on it over to the new card. Not sure how to go about this or even if you can.
I'm using a Black Berry Bold 9700 and I just recently updgraded to the new BlackBerry 6 OS. I took a while for me ro adjust to the changes. What I'm having problems with is when I try to update an application via the BlackBerry Application World it always prompts me that my device has less than 5MB of memory left. With the BlackBerry 5 OS, I used to get a message on where I want to save the file (same goes when downloading) but this does not give that option. I have more than enough space in my memory card. Another issue is I have themes saved in the memory card but for some reason I can't activate them. I can see the themes in the BB application world and can even see them when I hook the phone to my pc but I'm unable to look them up when I go to the change my themes via the display option.
i have a SE neo v. The phone has an internal memory of 420 mb and a sd card of 32 GB. There are several applications which i have downloaded from the andorid market. Most of these applications have consumed most of the internal memory. some of the applications do not get transferred to the SD card and are only retained in the SD card. now when i want to download new applications or update current applications, it says the memory is full. how do i transfer the applications to the SD card from the internal memory and download fresh applications. The applications are not visible when connected to the computer. Moreover, many of the applications are pre-set when the phone was purchased. Will the phone work if all the applications are transferred from the internal memory to the SD card.
I'm not able to see any media or memory card contents (eg. Pictures, songs, voice notes etc) that are saved in my memory card storage. However, when I check the memory status, the card seems occupied with the memory consumed by this files. I do not want to loose these files as they are very important to me. This is indeed very disappointing and soul-crushing.
I did Gingerbread update this morning, Now my phone doesnt pick up my memory card, and I also cant mount my phone to the computer, I insert the cable and then get the option to connect the phone, but nothing happeneds . The worst is that my memory card is not picked up.
planning to buy this phone. I understand that it has Android OS, v1.6 (Donut),upgradable to v2.1... if you have 2.1 you can only install games/applications to the phone memory. if you have upgraded to os 2.3 will you be able to install the games to the mem card?
My phone somehow reset itself and when it did i lost everything on my memeory card. It now says that the card has to be re-formatted but if i do that i do not want to lose everything on it. How do i re-format the card without losing my pics, music, etc.?
HOW CAN ICHECK THE MEMORY STATUS FOR BOTH THE PHONE MEMORY AND THE MEMORY CARD AND CAN I CHOOSE THE MEMORY CARD AS MY PRIMARY MEANS OF STORAGE ESPECIALLY FOR MUSIC AND PHOTOS.
