BB Bold 9000 :: Missing Icons - GPS Memory Card Not Showing Also Connot Go Directly To Memory Card
Feb 14, 2010
I buy bold 9000 few months a go from Dubai UAE market, i did not buy the network pattern together i am using my etisalat prepaid card. from begining i am missing someof icons like ( GPS, Memory card not showing also i con not go directly to memory card ) like nokia and other mobile shows etc could you please help me out to know whats problem in my phones.
I just installed OS 5.0.0.822 and runnin windows XP on my computer.anyway, for some reason I can't access my 4GB memory card using windows explorer like i used to. I do have "media card support" on, "Mass Storage Mode Support" on, and "Auto enable mass storage mode when connected" on.
Is there something i am doing wrong or setting that got changed?
I recently inserted a 16GB microSD card in my Bold 9000 and I observed that my BB starts draining its batteries quite fast. There aren't any applications running in the background, I make sure I exit them properly, and I rarely use Wifi or Bluetooth. I am totally lost as to why it is loosing power so fast. Even after charging the BB to 100% after reboot and allowing it to stand, the battery still drains faster. If I do disable the media card support, everything remains fine and the BB has normal power drain. I don't even use it except for checking my mails.
i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
for something reason, my phone started to be DAMN slow and laggy, when i try to go menu, it takes about 10 seconds to get to menu, and all is laggy in this phone. When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted. Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...
Before I remember finding a graph that showed the memory usage and what was on the media card, but either I forget where it is or its not on the new .442 OS.Can someone please help me out, I did a search and came up dry.
would this not make sense for rim to add in a software update, for us to be able to use a memory card as virtual memory? or use a small portion of memory?
HOW CAN ICHECK THE MEMORY STATUS FOR BOTH THE PHONE MEMORY AND THE MEMORY CARD AND CAN I CHOOSE THE MEMORY CARD AS MY PRIMARY MEANS OF STORAGE ESPECIALLY FOR MUSIC AND PHOTOS.
im unable to save the number either in phone memory or sim card directly from call history list in Nokia Asha 305 handset.. Due to this, i have to save the contact by dialing number myself in screen and save it to the contact list.
I'm thinking about buying a bold 9000 but my main concern is the memory, as I would like to use it as an iPod also. I hear that the maximum memory depends on which software it is running but how do I know before I buy it.. I don't know anything about blackberries, I'm a newbie! the phone is off ebay and the seller doesn't know either.
I have a Storm 9530. When i sync it to desktop manager it does. When i try to import music it says to Please insert a media card and reconnect to your computer. I have a card in it and have tried 3 different ones. It also will not show any blackberry icons on my Mac desktop. Card show up in Options Memory. Auto enable Mass Storage Mode when Connected is set to NO, is this right?
I have inserted a 128gb memory card inmy z3 and saved loads of apps to it but its still showing 125gb of memory available on the memory card. It was also showing this amount of space before I saved anything on the memory card.
it does not recognize that i have a memory card so it has deleted all my photos and music and things but i can't even take a photo now as it says to insert a memory card but i have one!
My phone said "memory full, delete some data",Ever since, all my tracks bar 3 are not showing on the memory card, neither are about 90% of my sound, image and video files.
Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.
Well basically i have bought this amazing phone xperia play, however downside is the internal memory only 400mb ( i mean seriously) but anyway ive been 'app exploring' and downloaded so many to my sd, but some were un movable from the phone i do not know why. so upon getting full i thought it will be a good idea to give it a reboot, upon doing that, when i revisited the phone ive lost all my apps on my sd card, funny enough i still have my photos and media on the sd card.
also in the settings>applications?managing applications and in the sd section its showing 2.90 gb availible of 7.99 or somrthing, basically the apps are there but i can't view them(thats what i gatherd from this issue)
I am using 16 GB memory card in my 700. But No Videos or Picture Is Showing in Video Player or Gallery which are appeared in memory card. No problem for mass memory. I already format my mmc card many times but no change.
All songs not show in my x2-01's music player. It shows half songs. They are in memory card. I did everything restore factory settings, went to nokia care, they re-installed it's software but no use.
Since I can't reboot with memory card, my main screen is completely wrong, I can't see my four shortcut icons (I can see only hover icon), green (last calls) and red buttons doesn't work, two bottom icons (num keyboard and contacts) doesn't work too. So if I want to insert hard reset code, I canīt. Restart without memory card and SIM card, shut down-power up and restore factory settings canīt solve my problem.
I go this error in my 8GB memory card, I tried to switch off but it didn't work, finally I tried to format the card on pc but I even cannot format the card, but I can access the memory in pc, I copied all item but still cannot format card, then I tried another card of 2GB but same thing happen to this card ! I can access to card but this error continuously blinks.
I need some body, tell my how can I install ovi content on the memory card when I use Wifi on my handset 5800.cause all programs immediately goes and installed on phone memory and it is almost full
Totally new to this phone, with the option to download applications. Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. And can anyone also tell me if I have an icon on the 'Menu' screen and the 'Apps' screen, does this mean the application has been downloaded twice and do I need both or can I delete one (presumably the 'Menu' one)?
I recently bought Nokia 5800. When installed any jar or .sis files on Card Memory, eventually my Phone Memory is getting used. Even though I am very diligent in selecting Card Memory while installation, Phone Memory is getting reduced. Kindly Help me please.
Why can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.
