Feb 14, 2010I buy bold 9000 few months a go from Dubai UAE market, i did not buy the network pattern together i am using my etisalat prepaid card. from begining i am missing someof icons like ( GPS, Memory card not showing also i con not go directly to memory card ) like nokia and other mobile shows etc could you please help me out to know whats problem in my phones.

Mar 12, 2010I was using my Blackberry Desktop manager last night to move a video from my laptop to my BB Bold 9000.Now, in the move from my "computer" to a folder on my media card, it DELETED all the videos I had in that folder.I know there were there before I made the move as I saw them located on the bottom part of part of the manager. Then, they were gone.The reason I am in suck a worry about getting these back is they are very personal videos for me. (Of my daughters 1st words, steps, etc)I NEED to get these back.

Feb 6, 2010I bought my blackberry about 4 months ago and it has been working fine with SIM cards from different countries, until now! My provider is O2, and I lost my SIM card and so I had to get a new one to replace it, and after it has been registered and everything sorted out from the provider's side, I found out I cant make any calls, send texts nor receive calls on my phone! Sim card works fine, as I have tried using it on a different handset. So it is my blackberry. Is it the settings I have to change? I hope I don't have to send it for repair.

Jul 29, 2010I just installed OS 5.0.0.822 and runnin windows XP on my computer.anyway, for some reason I can't access my 4GB memory card using windows explorer like i used to. I do have "media card support" on, "Mass Storage Mode Support" on, and "Auto enable mass storage mode when connected" on.
Is there something i am doing wrong or setting that got changed?

Jan 4, 2010I recently inserted a 16GB microSD card in my Bold 9000 and I observed that my BB starts draining its batteries quite fast. There aren't any applications running in the background, I make sure I exit them properly, and I rarely use Wifi or Bluetooth. I am totally lost as to why it is loosing power so fast.
Even after charging the BB to 100% after reboot and allowing it to stand, the battery still drains faster. If I do disable the media card support, everything remains fine and the BB has normal power drain. I don't even use it except for checking my mails.

Jan 4, 2012I'm not able to see any media or memory card contents (eg. Pictures, songs, voice notes etc) that are saved in my memory card storage. However, when I check the memory status, the card seems occupied with the memory consumed by this files. I do not want to loose these files as they are very important to me. This is indeed very disappointing and soul-crushing.

Jan 21, 2010I have a question on the "Memory" usage in BB Bold 9000 that i own.When I install APPS from BB App World, it shows me memory bar and now it has reached to 10 MB FREE (IN RED - which obviously means it is too low.)
Questions :
1) Does this mean that I wont be able to install more apps as those 10 MB will exhaust pretty soon?
2) Is there a way to install apps elsewhere if the above is true? I have a 8 GB MicroSD card installed. Would it work normally?

When I read another post on the fourm they indicated to take the battery out for 8 hours and replace it I did and boom he ed light appeared and I tried to quickly connect to desktop manager and download 4.6 and midway through the bold went dead again no red light nothing. Mar 19, 2010I have a Bold 9000 with ATT. I have constant low app memory problems. It is almost always under 10MB, and alot of times it is around 1-2MB. Here is a list of apps listed on the "Switch Application" menu: BB App World, Gmail Plugin, Home Screen, Visual VM, BB Messenger, Phone, Messages, Browser. I don't think any of these are the problem. A list of my downloaded Apps are: Atlanta Braves, CBS Sports, Weatherbug, ESPN, AP News, Google Maps, Bible App, Where, CBS Radio, Scoremobile, Stitcher Radio, Facebook, and Poynt. I assume I could get rid of those. Do you think there is too much downloaded? Is there a way to get rid of some of the defaults pre loaded apps such as: MobiTV, Mobile Banking, My Cast Weather, Wikimobile? Could someone point me in the right direction here.

I have only downloaded FB application and google maps. maps I use occassionaly while FB is always on. I have deleted all games but it doesnt help. Once application memory falls below 10mb handset slows down.
