Feb 19, 2010I have a sony erricson W395 and I have saved the contacts from my old SIM card onto my new phone memory, I put the new SIM card in and I cant find the contacts that are saved on the phone, the contacts list is empty. But if I type in my home number and ring it, it comes up with ringing home. Yet if the contact weren't saved on the phone it would come up with random number ringing and not saying calling home. How to transfer my contacts from my phone memory to my official contacts list/

Aug 21, 2010I have a Sony Ericsson K770i. A couple of months ago, something very strange happened. My memory card stops working and when I turn the phone off and back on again, it tells me "memory needs to be formated" or something like this. So it knows that there is a memory card in it, but it cant read it. And now, the display goes crazy ( it looks like a TV channel with bad signal). Sometimes, it fixes itself just with time, and sometimes, it doesn't even when I remove the battery and put it back in. I have tried flashing the phone and updating it, but nothing works.

I then have to turn my phone off ad back on again for everything to reappear in my memory card folder. But then if I try to save something again to my memory card the cycle starts again and I get the "Empty Folder" message once again.

My card reader is able to detect it, and i can access it through my phone while it's connected in file transfer mode. However, my phone says there is no memory card inserted, and my computer is unable to detect the card when the mobile is connected in phone mode. I've tried formatting it in both FAT and FAT32 with several different cluster sizes, but it makes no difference. Would appreciate some input!

My phone memory is still normal and everything else functions properly, except for my memory card. I updated it and I even checked if its placed in properly but nothing seems to help. Jul 2, 2010Got my Vivaz this Friday and it seems to have a fault with the card reader from factory. My Vivaz won't talk with the supplied 8GB MicroSD card or any other MicroSD card. The phone will notice if there are a card or not in the reader but can't access it, just reporting a faulty card.
Inserting or removing using Vivaz menu commands works and tells whether or not a card is inserted. Have tested three different MicroSDs 2,8 and 16 GB all works with Win7 and a X10 Mini, the Vivaz can't read or write to none. Sadly the Vivaz is useless with just the phone memory.

I have saved music on the card with an SD adapter on my computer and this is usable on the phone but sometimes disappears and says folder empty.Removing and replacing the memory card rectifies this but only for a short time.
