I downloaded ImgTool Db2020 with a graphics mod for my K770, but I need some help with replacing the pictures and applying the patch. If I have time tomorrow, I'll upload the pack. Until then, any queries or helpful thoughts?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Ericsson K770i. A couple of months ago, something very strange happened. My memory card stops working and when I turn the phone off and back on again, it tells me "memory needs to be formated" or something like this. So it knows that there is a memory card in it, but it cant read it. And now, the display goes crazy ( it looks like a TV channel with bad signal). Sometimes, it fixes itself just with time, and sometimes, it doesn't even when I remove the battery and put it back in. I have tried flashing the phone and updating it, but nothing works.

But the problem is that the keypad backlight is VERY dim (almost off) all the time with it. I tried to modify it a bit and used the value 0008. Is there a patch to disable joystick and just use the keypad to navigate menus, phonebook, messages, gallery, etc. i read from the other forum that he had a patch to disable joystick ang used his keypad to navigate things on his k750i.

When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Please any suggestions this phone has been reliable upto this piont

Then I noticed the applications I had installed in the memory card are not longer displayed on the screen, and when I try to take a photo it says there is no memory card and that they will be stored in the phone's memory. I know the iPhone has water sensors in almost every port and i want to make sure they don't turn orange and activate.When they apply the shield for you do you get to watch or do they do it in a back room somewhere?
Has anyone gotten this done and how has it turned out? Would you recommend getting the shield put on by Best Buy employees or DIY?I've never had any experience with the protectors that need water or some sort of liquid to be applied. I have put on some cheap screen protectors on my old 3GS and they worked great but i can't seem to find any protectors that cover both the front and back of the phone (sides would be nice too) that don't need liquid to adhere to the phone.
If anyone knows of a phone protector that covers both the front and back of the phone and can be applied without spray it would be extremely helpful. If there are any that include side protection too that would help.
I have an Experia x10 Mini pro. Firmare version 2.1 update, kernel 2.6.29 build 2.1.1.A.0.6. I have read through the manual and followed the instructions to asign individual ringtones to contacts. The problem is that when a contact with a specific ringtone calls it only plays the normal ringtone. The ringtones I am trying the use are mp3 files which are drm free and 30 seconds in length. They are on the SD card under audio/ringtones. I also notice that when these contacts call me they show up on screen as unknown.

I used the Motorola Update software to check for new update and install it. After a reboot, my phone displays the following message "Failed to boot 4" and I can't get the phone to get out of it. The only way I can turn the phone off is with a battery pull. I was on a stock 1.8.3 before this mess. What can I do? Is this a bug in the OTA update?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter it rebooted a number of times at the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge boot screen, I held Vol -, power and home. It brought me to a screen to choose Vol + for custom OS, Vol - to cancel or Home to reload from Samsung. I initially chose Vol - and it just started rebooting again. Did the 3 finger salute and chose the Home button. It's now been sitting on a turquoise screen with the phone info in the top left corner and it states in the middle "Downloading...Do not turn off target" It's been on this screen for about two hours now.

Have done a reset; same thing.
Is this the way Lollipop is? Or is it just mine?
