Aug 21, 2010I have a Sony Ericsson K770i. A couple of months ago, something very strange happened. My memory card stops working and when I turn the phone off and back on again, it tells me "memory needs to be formated" or something like this. So it knows that there is a memory card in it, but it cant read it. And now, the display goes crazy ( it looks like a TV channel with bad signal). Sometimes, it fixes itself just with time, and sometimes, it doesn't even when I remove the battery and put it back in. I have tried flashing the phone and updating it, but nothing works.

Oct 8, 2010I would like to confirm if Digital Zoom is NOT possible at 5 megapixel, nor at 3 or 1 megapixel with Elm camera. I am able to zoom-in & zoom-out only in VGA mode. With Yari, I am able to zoom-in & zoom-out even at 5 MP. Could somebody please let me know why the same is not possible with Elm?
The current firmware version on my Elm is "R7BA076" and camera software version is "3.8". If I upgrade it to "R7CA06" with camera version "3.9", would I be able to zoom-in & zoom-out at 5 MP?

Apr 17, 2010I had sony ericsson k750i - a gem amongst cell phones I must say. I recently purchased T715 and it is indeed a nice "no nonsense" phone. But I must say, I am missing the "macro" feature in the camera. I am an origami folder and this feature (earlier in K750i) helped me a lot to emphasize my origami models. And also what is the use of 3.2 mega pixel camera if I cannot zoom? Can any modding be done to get both "macro" and zoom options?

Select a smaller picture size. I tried all the picture size but nothing happened. I still cant zoom my camera. About the messaging settings, I cant select the "My Own Word" setting. It says that Currently unavailable. 1 more thing I noticed about my handset. The asterisk sign in the keypad is not well lit. Hence, outside of the buildings the phone generally keeps 3G signals without any problem. Checked it with another 3G capable GSM Operator's line but nothing changes.
