I am using w950i when I switch it on the memory is not loading. It just shows like loading after sometime it switched off automatically. Can Any body please tell how to format the inbuilt 4gb memory when the phone is the off mode.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Ericsson X10, changed out the 8gb micro sd with 32 one. Phone won't read it and states it is damaged and needs reformatting. Yet it won't reformat the Micro SD. Plug it into my computer and it recognizes it as a 32GB card. MediaGo recognizes it as a 2gb card. All software, phone and mediago has been updated.

The problem appears when you are in a Java application. you know some text inputs, like "username" and "password" inputs. when in the java application, the username input seems no problem, but when trying to write in "password" line there is nothing on the screen and the program crashes after my second letter. writes on screen "CtextLayout usin 6" error code. is there a fix for this bug?

I got a new 2 GB Sandisk media card and once I installed it and turn on the phone, I get a warning message telling me there is a media card that needs to be formatted. I go to Options>>Media Card>>pull up the menu>>click on Format card. The phone freezes. I have let it sit for 30-45 min. I end up having to pull the battery. I have tried several times. I have deleted most 3rd party apps in case they were the culprit (they were not).
I've tried removing the card and blowing dust out of the area, pulling the SIM card out as well, but, frankly, I assumed those wouldn't work because the phone is recognizing that the card is install, it just freezes when trying to format. Interestingly, the phone is still "on" in some degree; I don't receive phone calls or texts, but my bluetooth is still connected as the blue light is flashing, but I cannot make outgoing calls with it.
One thing that may make my situation unique is that I received this card from a friend who pulled it from their new Blackberry Bold (9700). He did not know if it was formatted at the time as he immediately placed a 4 GB Sandisk into his and gave me the 2 GB. Could formatting on a newer model prevent retro-using in an older model? Can this issue be resolved?
I went to AT&T today to see if they could take a look. They couldn't tell me much but did let me try to insert a different disk - a 4 GB Sandisk. There was NO prompt when I turned the phone back on, and I checked Options>>Media Card and it told me that the card was already installed and I had X.X GB of free space.
I have scoured the internet and AT&T and refuse to believe that this is just a bad card. This has seemed to occur enough that if they are all bad cards, Sandisk is cranking out a ton of corrupt products here.
I have had a Vivaz mobile phone since April this year. Can some help me? Why does it keep freezing, can't receive or send text messages, keeps going into flight mode and saying insert SIM card and the only way too stop it is by removing the battery it happens at least once a day it is driving me mad. I have taken it back to my vodaphone and they have updated it all and it is still the same. On speaking to several other people with this phone they are having the same problem, People I have spoken too have actually had their mobile phone sent for repair and it still comes back the same.

View 6 Replies View RelatedW995 has an indoor 3G signal problem. When you hold it in your hand like you mostly do, 3G signal disappears and the phone switches to 2G mode. Hence, outside of the buildings the phone generally keeps 3G signals without any problem. Checked it with another 3G capable GSM Operator's line but nothing changes. I can not make video calls when I'm home. I've got the latest software for my phone.

I did several attemps to synchronize, but in the middle of the proceess, the PC Suite all of a sudden switches from PC mode to USB mode. View 1 Replies View RelatedSince today, it seems my media player is not working. its opening, i can see which all media are there, but the songs are not playing, the videos are too, like stuck. i switched off, removed battery n put it back, no change. i did master reset, no change still. the problem disappears when a call comes(or missed call), it rings. then immediately if i try, media works. once i exit, and retry, its stuck again. same when i change ring tone volume. after i play ring tone, music works, after exit, problem persists.

It seems to be all configured correctly and I can play the music on the W995 once the process completes but it takes ages to sync (about 1Mb per minute). View 9 Replies View RelatedI have Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone and I try to find a way to play and view my mp3 files in media player as their folder structure is when I copied them to phone memory card - but have had no luck. The problem is that most music I listen is in a mixed form - lots of folders (witch name i like to see and choose in the player) and each consist about 20 various songs. In player under "Music" menu are items like "Artists", "Albums", "Tracks"... but no Folders. I cannot find any folder that way as "Albums" menu shows album name in ID3 tag but my folder structure is different (in one folder songs ID3 has different album name). So I have like 500 artists, 200 albums, 1500 tracks and no way to find what i want - for example to play one folder contents continuously. Only way I can think of right now seems to change all my mp3 ID3-tag album names same as my folder structure names but that choice is really bad because I don't want to lose original ID3 info and also modifying is really tedious when have to change few hundred folders of songs. So am I missing something obvious or what should I do to enable that simple behavior described above? One more thought - maybe in phone is some config file available where album names are stored and change all album names to folder names in there and not running "Update media" after that?

after having a great experience with the w580 i decided to buy a w760. so far i love the phone just the way it is. the phone is suppose to be just a retail phone from SE. I read through another thread about unlocking the 'up' key as well as the right and left soft key mods and the camera mod and so i did the itm and xml files but after restarting my phone the only mod that kept i think was the camera mod. do i have to do the 'unbranding' although its technically already debranded so that i can make mods to it? how can i delete some of the locked media/application files?
