I go this error in my 8GB memory card, I tried to switch off but it didn't work, finally I tried to format the card on pc but I even cannot format the card, but I can access the memory in pc, I copied all item but still cannot format card, then I tried another card of 2GB but same thing happen to this card ! I can access to card but this error continuously blinks.

Retry or data will be lost" an then I've got two buttons "retry" or "Stop" but no matter what I do window doesn't disappered. I tried to re-install Belle but nothing has changed. When I conned microSD to my computer a window appear telling that data in storage are damaged or corrupt but windows can't repair it.

Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.
I am using 16 GB memory card in my 700. But No Videos or Picture Is Showing in Video Player or Gallery which are appeared in memory card. No problem for mass memory. I already format my mmc card many times but no change.

Its 8GB memory card became invisible (file browser says- E: NO MEMORY CARD INSERTED) while I was browsing internet (on the screen suddenly appeared 'it is advised to choose Remove memory card first in phone menu, and then remove it' or smth like that).Now no formatting capabilities in phone menu. I have tried another Memory Card 1GB, Nokia made, and it is invisible too. My old Nokia E51i file manager can read both cards.The phone is ONE WEEK from an authorised Nokia shop, no damages, no fall.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter loading up some MP3s and a widget (a flashlight app) via bluetooth, I turned off my Nokia 5233. Next morning turned it on but it wouldn't go farther than the Nokia logo on white. Removed battery, left a few minutes, same thing. Removed battery, removed 2Gb memory card while phone was off, reinserted battery, turned it on, phone came back to life. Reinserted mem card; it was recognized, all apps (installed on the card) and music/photos were there, everything worked.However, if I turn off the phone and later on again, it's the same, can't boot further than logo screen unless I boot with the mem card out and insert it later. I guess mem card is corrrupted, and yes, checked that there were now 2 icons for that flashlight app. Removed the app via the app manager, there's still one icon left. Trying to remove it via the Organize->Remove command gives a 'File Corrupted' mesage and it can't de deleted; it doesn't run either. Is there a way to remove this 'corrupted' file?So guess there's no option but re-formating mem card, is it? I've backed up all photos but really dread having to re-install all the apps I had on it. Is there a way to check for mem card integrity or fix it without having to clean it off?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIssue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.
I was trying to delete most of the video clips through "Real Player" button. While doing that, I accidentally pushed the delete button more than once. Now that I cannot access my video clips. When I tried to open through "Gallery", it cannot access, and the message appears as the following: Disk Error - Cannot Complete Write. Retry or Data will be lost. I did retry, but the message re-appears. How do I access to the clips, and retrieve them and subsequently save them.

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast.
