I transferred about 2gb of music (mp3 format) from my PC to my HTC One's "Music" folder and when I check my phone's music player, there's nothing there. I tried a 3rd party music app, tried using media scanner apps, cleared cache for media storage, rebooted phone...no luck. Also tried HTC Sync Manager to copy the songs from there onto the phone and the songs still won't show up...s?

I can pin windows.. but cant use fingerprints to unpin.. they just unpin.. which kind of defeats the purpose.. also downloaded mp3's from a third part app and they wont play.. but they will stream.. and if they are sent to me from friends phone they will play?
View -1 Replies View RelatedThis is bizarre, everything was fine until this morning, not sure what's going on but the phone still comes up in Windows 8 file explorer, however as soon as I click the Internal Storage directory, file explorer stalls as the green progress bar slowly crawls along and eventually times out.
The phone says it's in MTP mode.
I looked at the driver supporting this phone for Windows 8 and it says it's from 2006. I found a link for installing thhe Google USB driver but there is no instructions for installing it in Windows 8, the phone not connecting to the computer in MTP mode which isn't an issue for me.
Rebooted the phone and tried again, no luck.
I downloaded mp3 files, put them in LG PC Suite and transfered them to my G3 and when I open the standard music app (the purple square) it doesn't see the mp3's. So I looked for them in my file manager and saw all of them stored in the LG PC Suite Folder. Even after transfering the mp3's to the Music Folder the music app didn't see the mp3's. I did use PowerAmp which works great. But I'd still like to use the standard music app which i find easier to use.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi've been using HTC ONE. "ONE" of the best phone till date i've ever used. Am completely happy with the performance and looks. But from last week it stoped charging and even when i connect it to my mac itz not reading ! I havn't even dropped it even once ! The only time it getz charged is when the battery is completely drained off and wen the mobile goes off by itself. And that time when i keep it for charging, it gets charged but the red light (charging notification) keepz blinking instead of being stable. So for past few dayz i've been charging the phone this way and have to wait for the battery to drain off completely and then keep it for charging. But still the usb is not reading wen i connect it to my mac.

View 4 Replies View Relatedim having problems with my computer recognizing my blackberry 8330(boost mobile). the phone itself is connected to the computer properly and even when i go to the media manager it shows up. the problem is when i go to my computer( i am using vista btw) the computer doesn't exactly recognize the device, it just says removable disk (F now im not sure how but one time when i connected the phone to my computer a window appeared called "auto play" which gave me quick and easy access to my phone via different folders, but now when i connect the phone none of that happens. i would like to be able to connect my device to my computer and have that window (auto play) appear when i conenct my phone because it is easier for me to transfer my photo's/music etc.. how can i do this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed the SE PC suite & backed up everything on my phone next I installed the update service & tried to update my phone it is not getting recognized at all following the instructions properly, ie: Shut down fully charged phone, remove battery and re-insert. Do NOT power on phone. run updater, plug phone in while holding "c". the phone shows up as a device in windows XP after about a minute, but it never gets recognized by the updater. however the PC suite beeps & sees the phone ok. what's the deal here, am I missing something? if PC suite & my computer are able to see the phone, why isn't the updater? also having the same issue with a2uploader, it doesn't see the phone at all

View 5 Replies View RelatedBeen having my Z3 for 3 months now running Android lollipop, I installed a new 128GB micro Sd few a month ago and it was working properly until a week ago, I restarted my phone and all applications on SD went missing, I couldn't access any application of them all am getting is an icon of blue print with a red SD circle ND if I try to access it an error pops up "application not found".
I plugged the phone to my laptop still I couldn't access the Sd card, so I took it off the phone and tried accessing it through an SD adapter and it worked fine, I can find everything properly saved in the card.
Tried formatting it and installing it again in my Z3, MY PHONE recognized it Instantly, but after restarting the phone all applications went missing again.
When using the supplied USB-C connector to use with my Display Dock that came with my new 950 Windows phone I'm prompting to try using a different cord.
I tried doing an update but the update available sits at 0%. I then tried a factory restore and still no luck.
I'm using a strong WI-FI connection but that does not seem to make any difference either.
I have connected my phone with the USB and transferred my photos and music to my phone. Unfortunately, when I open the Gallery, I can't see any of the pictures that I know are there. I can see the files if I use My Files to browse. It is the same for my music.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to a 64gb SD card, roughly two weeks ago, and I had several problems trying to transfer all of my music and pictures and whatnot over to it from my 32gb SD card...ended up losing a lot of them because of having to re-format the card (I have a memory card recovery program on my computer already, so losing things is not a concern at this point) .
HOWEVER, my phone fully recognized the 64gb card immediately, once I properly formatted it and whatnot, but only for like a day, then I started getting error notifications that the card was not properly inserted, or the phone was not reading it, etc...the card has been inserted into my phone for about 10 days at this point... a friend of mine also has the same phone as I do (s5) and it reads just fine, as does her card in my phone, so clearly it doesn't seem to be an issue with the card itself, or the card reader slot..since other cards are registering..?
Then there's also the issue of my battery randomly draining unusually fast the last few days...and this has only been happening over the last three days...I did go to Sprint two days ago and they "primed the battery" but it did not work at all (battery life went down from 87% to completely dead in less than 5 hours last evening)...
I downloaded crack utility and desktop manager 4.6 , 4.7, etc. nothing works. My computer will not recognize my phone and it seams I have tried everything. My OS is 4.7.0.148 and its unlocked and now with TMobile. Desktop manager wont recognizing phone.
