May 15, 2015The title pretty much sums it all, it won't connect at all. Driver or no driver, oem cable or not and stock rom or not. Can't even ADB in.But ! It does work on my laptop (without drivers), so it's not a faulty device. Both my laptop and desktop computers are running Win 8.1

I'm using a strong WI-FI connection but that does not seem to make any difference either.

Aug 29, 2015When I try to play videos from my S6 on my windows 10 computer they start out running smooth but then get jerky. They play fine on the phone. When this computer was running Windows 7 I had no problem viewing videos from my Galaxy S3.

However, if I take a video in portrait mode on my phone, transfer it to my windows 7 computer and play it, it plays in landscape mode (sideways). I've tried VLC player and windows media player and they both play portrait taken videos in landscape.

Jan 22, 2015I upgraded to a 64gb SD card, roughly two weeks ago, and I had several problems trying to transfer all of my music and pictures and whatnot over to it from my 32gb SD card...ended up losing a lot of them because of having to re-format the card (I have a memory card recovery program on my computer already, so losing things is not a concern at this point) .
HOWEVER, my phone fully recognized the 64gb card immediately, once I properly formatted it and whatnot, but only for like a day, then I started getting error notifications that the card was not properly inserted, or the phone was not reading it, etc...the card has been inserted into my phone for about 10 days at this point... a friend of mine also has the same phone as I do (s5) and it reads just fine, as does her card in my phone, so clearly it doesn't seem to be an issue with the card itself, or the card reader slot..since other cards are registering..?
Then there's also the issue of my battery randomly draining unusually fast the last few days...and this has only been happening over the last three days...I did go to Sprint two days ago and they "primed the battery" but it did not work at all (battery life went down from 87% to completely dead in less than 5 hours last evening)...

Apr 16, 2012i just bought a total new cyberpower pc. and last week i just replaced my iphone 4s. apparently when i first connect it to a mac pc and then afterwards all pc i connect it to, wouldn't recognize it.. i dont own a mac so therefore i want it connected to my cyberpower pc!
i called and talk to those apple support ppl and they cant do a darn thing!

Hour it wasn't the phone, so I thought about it and said my midi recorder and ipod cord wouldn't connect. So came home and clean my computer and uninstalled programs that I wasn't using. So after an hour of that it still wouldn't pop up, so I also uninstalled my usb drivers and still result. So I believe its my usb cord so imma try another cord when I get paid. May 24, 2010I have two issues here on my 8330.First one is from day one, when I connect to the laptop, the BB does not show up as a drive at all. All my other phones (not BB's) have shown up as a drive where I can open folders within and drag and drop. Why can I not do this with the BB?Most recently the device manager is not recognizing my phone either, I plug it in and it shows an error with the USB, saying the device is not recognized, and in the device manager, I have a yellow exclamation mark saying 'unknown device'.
I have researched these issues online and can't find anything that will solve either of my problems and I'm getting extremely frustrated. At this rate, I'm ready to get rid of the BB and go for something like the iphone if I can't get this working properly. Seems to be more trouble then it's worth

That laptop is no more and i upgraded to a new one with win 10 installed on it. This laptop along with 2 others windows 7 completely refuses to connect to my phone. I think i have tried every "solution" but nothing works. My phone is rooted with a custom rom and the fast charge also refuses to work. I need to be able to connect to windows so i can reinstall the original firmware for a warranty exchange. Yes, i have all sumsung drivers installed, i have the original cable (and more), i tried smart switch, it still doesn't work.

Dec 29, 2015It's been about 4 years since I had an Android phone (back from the dark side) and I am getting our shared calendar setup.
My Windows Google calendar to my wife's Windows Google calendar is fine, syncs within 20-30 seconds. Seems like the sync to her Note5 and my S6 is so slow that to be sure we are getting the calendar updates we have to go in and manually sync the Google account on each phone. This process takes a good 5 mins and is not ideal to be doing it all day long to ensure we have the latest events.
Is there something I can check/change to get the sync to happen a bit more automatically/frequently on the phones?

I can see the files I want using "My Files" on the phone, but when I use Windows Explorer (Win10) with the phone connected over USB, the folders are empty. I've never had trouble finding files before but I add this is the first time I'm trying with Windows 10.

I can transfer them to a temp folder on my PC, then move them to the card. But, can't do it directly from phone to card as I used to be able to.
