The same thing happens when I try to upload a video on Youtube from my computer. These are relatively small files - 10 - 15 minutes each!
At least when I upload videos from my computer it starts uploading very slowly, says it will take 2-3 hours, and stops at 16%.

Jan 7, 2015On 1st January 2015, I took some photos and videos in my Samsung Galaxy S5. I went to view those photos and videos in my gallery. First few times, the photos and videos were there. After some time, I went to view the photos and videos again in my gallery. Suddenly the photos and videos I took on January 1st were missing but photos I took before January 1st 2015 were still there. I'm sure I didn't delete any of the photos. Jul 16, 2015I am trying to retrieve photos from a Samsung Galaxy S6 that is stock at the lock screen. The finger print scan is not working and they do not know there back up password. I researched two ways to get around this.
1. Entering in the google account user name and password
2. Signing into Find My Mobile with the samsung account information and unlocking the phone
If both of these options fail due to the owner not remembering there above credentials is there any other way to retrieve photos. How about putting the phone in dfu mode and using a program on a computer to copy photos from the internal storage. Is something like this possible?

Mar 12, 2015I just shifted from iPhone to galaxy5, i transferred all the data via smart-switch. And I also tried Dropbox in new galaxy s5, all the photos are doubled. one is original and other one's are duplicate (few Kb's). I had around 900 photos from iPhone to new galaxy s5, but in Dropbox- total photos are around 1700. Is there anyway I can delete duplicate one's easily.
secondly, drop-box setting is "sync via WI-fi". even if i don't click any new picture or video, its still backing up every-time. at one point it says" up to date" after few hours it syncing again.

Jun 26, 2012I'm using 2.3.6 on my first Android phone. I moved some photos from my PC to the phone (no SD card) and during the copy process I received a message - "may not be compatible with device". I can see them in my gallery but get no response when I try to select one of them for wallpaper. If I tap it, the photo is isolated and that's it. No response from menu icon. There are forward/backward arrows at bottom of screen and tapping them just gets me the date I copied the photo to the phone.

Nov 20, 2011Ever since getting my sg2, I have always had a problem with the 3g. My phone when it connects proceeds only to upload, showing only the green arrow pointing up. This happens randomly, and it happens across all the different platforms of network connection the sg2 has. The issue is incredibly annoying as my phone can't download data, meaning I cant access the internet. The issue when it happens does seem to correct itself after sometime and with me fiddling around with it, but I am yet to find a permanent solution to fix the problem. My friend recommended I turn of data and turn it back on, which does work but is very hit and miss, and the issue can still very much be present when I turn data back on. The only solution which seems to work 100% of the time is turning the phone off and on again, however this is pointlessly annoying and quite a nuisance.

Jul 5, 2015I just got a new samsung s6 edge previously an apple user and really annoyed by this phone, all I hear from friends is apple is so crap well I've never had an issue with iphones for me they worked how they were meant to work, now I have the s6 edge and problem after problem doing the most basic of things, the most annoying of which is photos.
I'm trying to drag photos from the dcim folder of the phone to my windows 8.1 desktop, obviously connected by usb I have the drivers installed etc have used both the mtp and ptp options in phone, neither option works each time I drag to desktop all the windows close screen turns grey like explorer crashes and the desktop refreshes, also done copy and paste does the same thing.
I don't want to use software as only way to do it which is slow and laborious is like google photos etc. surely if its treated as a storage device just copy and drag, really annoyed as it should be so simple.
