What can i do so my phone will accept my sd card. I tried different brands but after a week i must connect it, what means i must first format it. I lose all my music and photos what i have on it.
View 4 RepliesBeen having my Z3 for 3 months now running Android lollipop, I installed a new 128GB micro Sd few a month ago and it was working properly until a week ago, I restarted my phone and all applications on SD went missing, I couldn't access any application of them all am getting is an icon of blue print with a red SD circle ND if I try to access it an error pops up "application not found".
I plugged the phone to my laptop still I couldn't access the Sd card, so I took it off the phone and tried accessing it through an SD adapter and it worked fine, I can find everything properly saved in the card.
Tried formatting it and installing it again in my Z3, MY PHONE recognized it Instantly, but after restarting the phone all applications went missing again.
Today while I was running to make it into work and clock in on time my phone fell out my jacket pocket and now the media card isn't recognized by the phone. It's not showing up when I connect my phone to my computer either. Is there anything I can do to try and get it to be recognized again?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have trouble with the phone recognizing my memory card - the card is SanDisk 16GB, class 10. I've lost the card I got with the phone, so I got this one. At first, it would say "Insert card", like it wasn't there, but the phone knew when I would remove it. A few times I'd get "Card damaged" message, the other times "Card is empty or not supported filesystem". 2 times I managed to get to work, but trying to take a picture crashed the camera app. I've tried formatting it several times. Right now, it's not reading the card at all. I can't check the card with my PC, since I don't have a card reader. It's getting really annoying, since I can't use the phone for almost anything. I've updated my phone to the latest software, but still nothing.

The files on the sd card are exactly the same as before I upgraded so why can I no longer play them. This has been the worst upgrade ever will be the last SE phone I buy.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to a 64gb SD card, roughly two weeks ago, and I had several problems trying to transfer all of my music and pictures and whatnot over to it from my 32gb SD card...ended up losing a lot of them because of having to re-format the card (I have a memory card recovery program on my computer already, so losing things is not a concern at this point) .
HOWEVER, my phone fully recognized the 64gb card immediately, once I properly formatted it and whatnot, but only for like a day, then I started getting error notifications that the card was not properly inserted, or the phone was not reading it, etc...the card has been inserted into my phone for about 10 days at this point... a friend of mine also has the same phone as I do (s5) and it reads just fine, as does her card in my phone, so clearly it doesn't seem to be an issue with the card itself, or the card reader slot..since other cards are registering..?
Then there's also the issue of my battery randomly draining unusually fast the last few days...and this has only been happening over the last three days...I did go to Sprint two days ago and they "primed the battery" but it did not work at all (battery life went down from 87% to completely dead in less than 5 hours last evening)...
in the past few days my Lumia 800 has stopped recognising my Orange Sim card. This happens at reandom points through the day and i have to switch it on and off several times to get it to register that the sim is there. As it happens randomly there is no garuntee that the phone is working as a phone and making it pointless to actually use it as a phone. Also since the latest update there has been no improvement in my battery life whatsoever

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my Z3 2 months ago. I had no problem charging it before, it used to charge fine but after 3 weeks, it started to act strange during charging process. Even if the phone is plugged in fine, the phone charges for few minutes then stops charging again. The charging LED light turns off and when i check the phone, theres no charging signal. But sometime it charges fine without disconnecting.
I thought it was my charger's problem and i tried 2 more new chargers and its still the same. I was running 4.4.4 when this problem occured so i was guessing maybe it was software related issue. I updated to 5.1.1 but the problem still exists. I am using USB cable to charge it. It happens with both the wall charging and PC charging, I even tried factory resetting but no luck. I don't use wireless charging or any charging dock, only USB cable.
I have an Xperia Z5 compact. This was playing my music apps find for the first 3 days. Then it started to glitch, by stopping my music playback if I turned the phone 90 degrees one way or another as well as playing back through the phone speakers when the headphone is plugged into the jack.
I've tried trouble shooting mentioned on other parts of this forum. I didn't have the google maps "shake to send feedback" feature on, and this behavior is happening on multiple music apps (Podcast Addict, Google Music, Sony Music, Spotify, etc). So this seems to be a problem native to the phone, not a third party application.
When using Skype video call the phone gets hotter and when it reaches 45 degc (battery temp) the person on the other end of the call can't hear me. My audio input is no longer being picked up.
Happens with either mic or headset use.
Typically takes around 10 mins before this happens, from cold (30 degc) start.
If I exit call and then reconnect the audio works fine again for a short period (1 to 2 mins) of time but will then stop again. If I let the phone cool then audio will work ok on next call for longer, until phone heats up again then it stops.
Earlier today I had to upgrade my BBM and I was required to reboot so that's exactly what I did. When the phone turned back on all of my media was gone. I turned off my phone, pulled the battery and turned it back on and that still didn't work. I tried again and I even pulled out the card and inserted it back in. When I press the camera button it says media card unavailable. That's when I determined there was a problem with the phone reading the card because at first I assumed all of my media was erased.

View 2 Replies View RelatedA couple of weeks ago I bought an Unlocked Samsung U900 Soul from ebay and it worked perfectly with my T-mobile service here. Then yesterday I decided that I wanted to put java games on it. So I found this video online: [URL]and followed all of the directions. The games didn't work but my phone was still working. Later that night I turned off the phone, took out the sim card, and put the sim card in my other phone which I keep on all night. Then I woke up this morning, put the sim card in the U900 and turned it on. But the screen now keeps saying "Please insert SIM card" and the screen is also showing that I have service bars. This might mean that it is still unlocked. I am guessing that the procedures in the video had to do something with the phone now not recognizing the sim card.

I have:
Tried turning the unit off and repowering it - no success Tried using the SIM card from my mobile phone - no success Removed the SIM and resinserted it - no success When I look at Settings/Wireless and Networks/Mobile Network Settings, I have Data Enabled checked.
If i open the SIM card slot, I immediately get a message "SIM error - A SIM card error has occured. A mobile data connection cannot be made until you insert a valid SIM and power cycle the device. Please contact Customer Care if the problem persists".
When I reinsert the SIM, I get a triangle with an exclamation mark in the bottom right corner saying "No Service - Selected network (Vodafone AU) unavailable". Now when I go back to Settings/Wireless and Networks, the Mobile Network Settings option is greyed out an unavailable.
When I turn the Xoom off and then restart it, that Mobile Network Settings option is available again. MASSIVELY frustrated as I can't find out whether it's a setting that needs adjusting, whether it's the Xoom itself, a 3.1 problem.
I have had this Blackberry for nearly a year now and all of a sudden it does not recognize my media card. It works just fine when I boot the phone up, But after no specific amount of time the phone will stop reding from it. I have to reboot the phone and it working just fine again.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi've been using HTC ONE. "ONE" of the best phone till date i've ever used. Am completely happy with the performance and looks. But from last week it stoped charging and even when i connect it to my mac itz not reading ! I havn't even dropped it even once ! The only time it getz charged is when the battery is completely drained off and wen the mobile goes off by itself. And that time when i keep it for charging, it gets charged but the red light (charging notification) keepz blinking instead of being stable. So for past few dayz i've been charging the phone this way and have to wait for the battery to drain off completely and then keep it for charging. But still the usb is not reading wen i connect it to my mac.

I tried a 3rd party music app, tried using media scanner apps, cleared cache for media storage, rebooted phone...no luck. View 8 Replies View Relatedim having problems with my computer recognizing my blackberry 8330(boost mobile). the phone itself is connected to the computer properly and even when i go to the media manager it shows up. the problem is when i go to my computer( i am using vista btw) the computer doesn't exactly recognize the device, it just says removable disk (F now im not sure how but one time when i connected the phone to my computer a window appeared called "auto play" which gave me quick and easy access to my phone via different folders, but now when i connect the phone none of that happens. i would like to be able to connect my device to my computer and have that window (auto play) appear when i conenct my phone because it is easier for me to transfer my photo's/music etc.. how can i do this?
