Currently digging my Razr M, but one small thing is driving me nuts, I am unable to figure out how to clear the 'favorites' in the dialer.
I can clear the recent calls with no issue, but that 3rd tab, favorites, I am unable to make those go away or reset.
When I set up, or attempt to, the favorites I can't get past 10 contacts in the 20 boxes provided. I press the + sign to add contacts, but when I press additional contacts they get inserted over some of the existing contacts thereby removing the others. When I press "favorites" at the top of the screen all of my choices appear on a list, but they don't all fill the 20 boxes.

View 7 Replies View RelatedPrior to ICS, on the Favorites Screen in the Phone App, the people who I called regularly were only listed once, even if I had called them on different #s listed in their contact profile. Under ICS, people are listed multiple times equivalent to each number of theirs dialed. This has the effect of getting fewer people listed on the Favorites screen. Is there a way to customize this so it goes back to the pre-ICS approach of only listing an individual once?

Car dock: 1. I would like to be able to add phone numbers to the favorites listing manually. 2. I'd love to see an option to default to car Aux audio automatically instead of speakerphone. Right now to make a call I always have to place the call and then shut speakerphone off. HD dock: I'd like to be able to automatically silence calls instead of have to go to menu and checking the box everytime.

I Have one favorite and it seems to be me from my google+ account. I can find no way to add favorites to this screen even though i have favorites in my contacts menu on the phone.Anyone with a car dock have any luck with this feature?I have tried creating new contacts and modifying existing ones. View 10 Replies View RelatedI keep getting a low memory warning and I need to find a way to fix it.I have about 1.3gb left on phone memory. My internal SD card says it has .90gb left, with 7.1gb being used. I have nothing in the media section and I have moved everything I can when presented with the option to make more room on the internal SD.Is there a way to clear more space? Moving apps to SD doesn't work. They just go to the internal SD card. I'm not sure what is taking up so much space. I don't have that many apps loaded up.

When I listen to music in the standard music player that comes with the phone (My Music), it creates a notification with the song that I am listening too (thumbs up). However, I am unable to clear this notification even when I stop listening to music and exit out of the program (thumbs down).

View 13 Replies View Relatedjust reporting an issue I have noticed with ICS on my Droid RAZR. If I have a text message conversation open and receive a new message from the same contact, the notification icon pops up, I'm properly notified, but then it won't clear without backing out of the conversation to the higher level text messaging section. I have had success a few times with tapping on the new message to clear the notification icon, but not all the time. This was not an issue I noticed with the previous version of Android.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone else have problems with the dialer not responding? I have issues as well with links not responding, same issue I believe but to the dialer first. On occasion I will try to make a phone call and when I press on the person I want to call it will highlight but not dial. I can do this over and over again with just the name highlighting for like thirty times. Then all of a sudden (30 seconds to 3 minutes later) all the phone calls will try to go through and I can hear the persons (usually my wife) voicemail and ringing at the same time. As for the links, it's a similar issue. I will click on a link and it will highlight but will not do anything. Usually when this happens I have to click it three or four times before it registers and the link is followed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAnything to do with dialing, I'll touch the contact I want to dial and it will take up to 20 seconds for the phone to resond. Other times, I'll end up touching the contact twice and by the time it connects, the phone is asking me to merge calls..I'm running 2.2.1 OTA, I'm rooted, but have not made any changes, no ROM's, pretty straight forward. I just took the phone in to a VZW store a few weeks back and they did a full reset on it. Can the dialer cache get full?

I know there are other dialers available, but the default ICS dialer has a people link, is it possible to dump the motorola skinned dialer and revert to the google supplied ICS dialer?
When I press the dialer icon from the home page, the screen flashes like it is trying to open the phone dialer, but nothing happens. I have tried opening the phone dialer through contacts and through the car dock. Still nothing. It just flashes open real quick and then returns to the home page. I am not looking for another dialer to download, I would just really like to get the original one working again.

There is the one shortcut that you can put in the bottom four can take you to the dialer (as long as the dialer was the last thing you used) or to your contacts (if that was the last thing you used). The one I would like to be able to put on the bottom is the dialer shortcut that can take you to the dial pad no matter what. I can put that shortcut anywhere but in the bottom four. Does anyone know of a way to put the shortcut to the direct dialer down on the bottom without having to use something like launcher pro or ADW?
View 5 Replies View RelatedA week ago I went to make a phone call hit the icon on my home page without looking to see it had been replaced with the Kindle app icon..and of course...opens the Kindle app. Now, in order to make a phone call...I have to open my contacts, press the dialer, and then make the call. A lot of extra effort for a phone call when the main function of the phone is making phone calls.
maybe I should just wait another two weeks and go buy an iPhone. Renewal is just around the corner.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery once in a while (has happened 2 times in as many weeks) the phone or dialer APP will suck battery and throw off my typical discharge time WITHOUT me ever placing a call (let alone opening the phone interface). For example, as shown in the attached, I'm down almost 70% on just 19 hours and change of use, with just 2.5 hours of screen on time, with the phone app draining 7% without any phone usage. Typically, I can make it 24+ hours with 4+ hours of screen time on that level of battery drain.
Aside from those instances, battery has been great on L. Used to get, typically, about 26 hours before charging at 25%. Now, I consistently get 29+ hours on the same usage.
