BB Bold 9650 :: Received Message / Dual Streaming Is Required For HTML Viewing
Attempted to access CCTV system but received the subject message. Contacted RIM and they sent back the following message "You need a JavaScript enabled browser to use Virtual Chat. Please close this window and enable scripting in your browser options. Then launch this application again" Please explain the steps that have to be taken to enable JavaScript.

BB Bold 9000 :: Viewing HTML Files On Phone
Does anyone know of a way I can load a web page from a file for viewing on the Bold? I want to view an HTML file that I downloaded from a site. It's not actually live online so I can't view it that way. The Blackberry browser doesn't seem to have an option to load a file. What about Opera Mini? I don't particularly want to install it because I'm not a fan of Opera on mobiles, but I'll do it if it allows you to load an HTML file.

BB Bold 9650 :: Received Timestamp Error In SMS Conversations
I recently moved to Michigan from California, and the time settings on my blackberry automatically changed to Eastern Time (-5). However, whenever I receive an SMS (no problems with BBM/MMS), the timestamp for the received SMS in the conversation is 3 hours earlier than the actual/device time. This is a problem only inside the conversation; when I go back to the main Messages or SMS folder, the timestamp of the last received/sent message next to the contact's name is correct. Is there any way to fix this aside from doing a complete wipe? I tried rebooting and manually changing the date/time; didn't help. Blackberry Bold 9650 v5.0.0.732 Verizon Wireless

I am trying to upload a few HTML files to 6233 gallery and view them. I have used clean XHTML MP standards. While trying to open, the phone displays FORMAT NOT SUPPORTED error. Since the phone is able to surf the net flawlessly, I know that the browser is fine. How do I register the HTML format such that the files can be opened from the gallery?

I read in the 4.5 update list that you can view emails in html. However, I am having trouble figuring out how. I did some searching but all I could find is to select get images from menu within the email. I don't have that option. Is there something different with this model or what?

BB Tour 9630 :: HTML Email Viewing Error After Downloading OS 5.0?
I upgraded my Tour (Verizon) last week to OS 5.0. Since the upgrade I have been unable to view HTML emails. The body of the email provides the text/link to the images along with a lot of text I do not understand. I don't even get the links to "get image" or "view image on a web page". I made sure the settings were correct (i.e. enable HTML email, download images automatically) and the issue persisted. Battery pull did not work, deleting and resending service books did not work. Through searches on this forum and others it appears that this is not an isolated problem.Is there a fix that I am not aware of? I am close to wiping the phone clean and going back to OS 4.7, but I like all other features that came with 5.0.

With WM6, exchange 2007 is required to push HTML formatted e-mail.You can push e-mail with Exchange 2003 SP2 however it won't push HTML formatted e-mail.Anyone know if Exchange 2007 is required for HTML formatted e-mail?My guess this is a function of exchange 2007 but I'm not sure if iPHone syncs using the same technology so maybe 2007 isn't required.I can't find a mention of this in the sync documents I've found so far from apple. i am having trouble viewing html email messages. i've read all about the security issues, how to get images, etc. however my phone, like some others i've read about, does not even have the option to enable html. my email settings are only message services, confirm delivery, confirm read receipt & send read receipt.also, i do not even have the option when an email is open to select get images after opening the menu.so my question is why do i not even have these options on my phone if i did want to enable or use them? i have a blackberry pearl 8130 & this is my first so i have alot to learn!

When landing in Germany and switching on the phone and trying to send an sms got this error message "Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException", after several attempts I restarted the phone an the sms icon diappeared from the menu. When I selected "Mobile Hotspot" in Manage Connections, it allowed me to set up a password. When I now select if, a tick appears in the box and other devices can 'see' my WPA protected Hotspot, but I get a message showing on the screen saying: "Activation Required. Click Continue to subscribe to a Mobile Hotspot data plan using the browser on your smartphone or on a connected Wi-Fi device". The only option is "OK" (not Continue). If I select OK, then I go back to the Manage Connections screen, with no tick in the Mobile Hotspot box. I am on an Orange UK voice and data plan (orange internet APN).

BB (RIM) :: Bold Video Streaming - Getting Error Message
So Im trying to stream from m.youtube.com or blueapple.mobi and Im getting an error. Now streaming worked from m.break.com but not youtube and its not even working on wifi . It keeps saying switch to wap for streaming and when you click ok and loads and then says An error has occurred attempting to play media.This bold is retail and picked it up from rogers yesterday.

BB Curve 8900 :: Viewing Received / Made / Missed Calls
Up until about 3 weeks ago if i pressed the green CALL button i could view all the recent calls i had made, received and missed. However, now, if i press the call button i only get the missed calls and nothing else which is really annoying as if i have just called someone and want to call them back i have to find their number in the phone book or tap the number in again manually. I have looked everywhere to try and find how i get this back to normal.

Okay..I've tried everything: Soft reset, hard reset [including holding alt, del & right shift], battery pull, hidden folders, mark prior opened, using the Backup & Restore off of DM to erase the SMS messages resending the service books. It's not on the messages, but the SMS & MMS Message tab. And it's not just one, it says 22. And it's really annoying. Any ideas?

After I get a text message or an email, the set ring tone sounds and the light indicator flashes. After I read the message and save or delete it the message light still flashes. Why is this and why won't the light stop flashing? The only way I can get it to stop flashing is take the battery out and put it back in. Verizon is my carrier and it is a Verizon 9650 phone.

This is my very first post so please excuse me if I have posted my question/problem in the wrong section.My wife and I have VERY recently bought new Blackberry Bold 9650 phones, they are our very first smartphones. My wife loves to read so I went to the Blackberry App World and downloaded the app FREEBOOKS on her phone, the app itself installed just fine but every time I try to download a book for her, and even sometimes just SEARCHING for a book, it will give me an error message that reads The server returned the following error while attempting to fulfill your request: "CONNECTION TIMED OUT". Can someone PLEASE possibly help with this problem OR direct me to the correct section that can assist me. I have been to my Verizon store and they were absolutely NO help after waiting for over an hour.

I'm experiencing a weird glitch that no one (including tech support at Verizon) seems to be able to figure out. I have a gmail account set up on my Bold 9650 and everything works properly EXCEPT that I cannot get it to show me the message count of unread messages (which usually should show up in parenthesis when I scroll over the account envelope icon). It seems that this is an issue with the Bold 9650 in particular because I have gotten the gmail unread message count to work on other blackberry devices, but not my (or another friend's) Bold 9650.

I have an errant "unopened" mail icon, It was on my old BlackBerry (an 8830) and when I got my new BlackBerry 9650, all was good, until I completed my enterprise synchronization, and guess what came back? now heres the rub, it shows (and as it did before) That it is a "Optimum on Line" email, not the email that is pushed by my enterprise server. So neither tech support will own the problem.
