I was just given a new E72 for work as my iphone got smashed. But I cant view emails on it. I have configured my emails on it & can download my emails ok, but when i open them I cant see anything more than the subject & get the following error:"Mail for exchange
Security policy that allows downloading HTML messages is disabled".Is there a feature I havent got enabled?
I cannot view HTML emails on my Blackberry Curve 8530, but when I go to email options, HTML is selected. Why isn't it working?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering why I can't view full HTML emails on my Storm2 like the iPhone or Droid? What I mean is I never automatically see the pictures or the email that it would normally show as in a regular email. Is it supposed to do this? A "shrunk" down email on bb? I always thought it can render everything in the email but each time I open my email (gamestop, HP deals for example) it never loads fully.I know theres apps that can help but is that the only solution? It will always only be plain text on blackberries and never full HTML?

My company has several E72 Nokias & NONE can view emails due to a html bug in the Nokia E72.If I can change my emails to be viewed in html that might be better. I also get a sync error after emails have downloaded & all i can see if the subject of the email. All other phones on our network that are not Nokia have no problems viewing emails.
View 2 Replies View Relatedfor the last 2-3 days my E55 has been unable to retrieve messages in HTML and attachments will not download.When I request for retrieval, the retrieval task bar appears then the message completey disappears from the mailbox. It does not go to deleted items it simply disappears from the phone. Agonisingly and infuriating to say the least! I have twice called Nokia support who have now escalated the issue. They have reset the phone to factory settings and all software is as updated as can be. I have been all over the menu and e mail settings, both global and mailbox, and cannot see what could be causing the issue.My mail is POP3 with Blueyonder and is ok on my PC with XP Pro SP2 and also on my Notebook with Win 7 Ultimate. Both of these are configured to save copies on the server, however if the message is read first on the phone neither the PC nor Notebook can receive the message as Nokia only supports pull from the server.Why is this suddenly happening? I have had this phone for approximately 5 months now and it has never occured before this last week. Do you have any resolutions?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running 5.0.0.419 right now on my VZW Tour. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I'm having some HTML E-Mail issues. Everytime I get an email, it never downloads emails automatically. I've got my settings so that it is supposed to, but when I open one up, I just have image boxes with no images. Is there anything special I need to do? I normally just go into options and hit get images, but it would be nice if this were done automatically.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my unlocked dual-sim 950 last week. All is good except for the new Outlook Mail app. It does fine with plain text emails, but cannot render HTML (web style) emails correctly at all. The formatting looks horrible and many items and images are just missing.
I read on another forum that this was due to the new Outlook app using MS Word as its rendering engine, rather than Internet Explorer, as was the case with Windows Phone 8.1 on my old Lumia 920. If the e-mail happens to contains a "view in browser" link, then it will open correctly in the Edge browser.
But many HTML emails don't have such a link. A decent email client should be able to render most correctly-coded HTML emails perfectly. Funny thing is that Outlook is supposed to be a Universal Windows App and it works fine on my Windows 10 desktop, but not on my phone.
I have html emails enabled and download images automatically set to yes. why does all new emails that arrive on my blackberry still have missing images? i have to hit get images inorder to see those images? anyone experiencing the same issues on their 8520?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Tour (Verizon) last week to OS 5.0. Since the upgrade I have been unable to view HTML emails. The body of the email provides the text/link to the images along with a lot of text I do not understand. I don't even get the links to "get image" or "view image on a web page". I made sure the settings were correct (i.e. enable HTML email, download images automatically) and the issue persisted. Battery pull did not work, deleting and resending service books did not work. Through searches on this forum and others it appears that this is not an isolated problem.Is there a fix that I am not aware of? I am close to wiping the phone clean and going back to OS 4.7, but I like all other features that came with 5.0.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem on my x6 , when i go into my sent messages(SMS) and message(SMS) inbox the name on the person is different in the inbox compared to the one in sent messages. And its the same person, just different name in the sent messages folder. But if i connect my phone to my computer and view the messages in nokia suite the name is the same, but not when i view them on my phone.
Is there a way to edit this cus it kinda annoys abit that its different.The name was the same earlier but not suddenly it changed and i dont know why.And yes i have tried something simple like turning the phone on and off.And i have another question, is there a way to store more than 999 messages ?
What are the requirements to get this feature working? Just tested MfE 3.00.050 witha Nokia E71 phone running latest firmware v400 against MS Exchange 2003 SP2, and jus cannot see HTML formatted mail. Just the unformatted text is shown on the MfE client.
Do I need to do some configuration in OWA or in Exchange mailbox server? Or does this feature work only with MS Exchange 2007 OWA? If HTML message format really is supported in Nokia E71 and MfE 3.0.0050, I guess it should work with the latest phone firmware.
make my email messages drop on my phone. it was working fine before untill i travel abroad and came back, now my bb has been asking me to give user name and password in order to activate email accounts. i gave all i could remember and it was telling me the user ID or password incorrect. Now i go all the way through the internet explorer to view my yahoo and gmails. is there anything i can do in order to regain my @ least my user name?

Also is there a way that the images display automatically rather than pressing display images every time. Lastly emails do not render/fit on the page instead I have always zoom in and even then they still don't fit have to scroll left and right.

View 10 Replies View RelatedGalaxy 5S - have had for several months, no problems. In last week, I am finding that I cannot view attachments to emails I receive. I am using Email app that came with phone, running two accounts - one personal Hotmail account and one business account that is Outlook based and IMAP on phone. PC access to both accounts is fine - can view all attachments. Hotmail on phone - with PDF attachment, selecting "preview" gets me "Cannot display PDF (XXXX is of invalid format). Selecting "download" gets me the file downloaded, but again, I cannot open. I open attachments with Polaris and have had no problems for months. I can even open older downloaded PDFs with Polaris still. Problem is only for PDFs I've received in last week. Hotmail on phone - with Word attachment, I can get it to "open," but then document is blank.
Once again, I shouldn't need to download Adobe or some other PDF reader. Everything was absolutely FINE until 3 or 4 days ago. The issues seemed to coincide with a change to appearance and operation of Outlook on my PC, but don't know if there is correlation.
I have a nokia E5 and have just updated (through Nokia Suite beta) the email application from 3.16.0 to 3.21.0. Since then all of my messages which contain html code are displayed as is, without the phone parsing the code. What I mean is instead of normal writing I just get html code.

When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
