How to flash the above mentioned rom as I'm still on 5.0.2 even though the update is actually already out.What confuses and scares me is the warning about the bootloader and modem... Go from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1 and flash xtrestolite as rom?

Now I am trying to flash engineering bootloader exactly the same problem.the problem is; every time I want to flash something with odin it fails after nand write start and then i get this weird thing on my screen.and yes after this fail i can still use my phone and other things.

My phone is factory unlocked (knox warranty void: 1 (0x0000))but after 1 sec the process fails.I cant attach it's photo. I don't know how to attach image in XDA. It has been rooted easily but the twrp recovery touch didn't work and I installed sprint version and problem solved.If I flash the wrong firmware it will not be flashed or flash will complete and the phone won't work?because I didn't know to flash 920v or 920r4. and finally I choosed the 920v my phone build info is: ( I used "root checker" for this information)

I got my new S6, however, I immediately noticed that the LED flash is not as bright as my old Nexus 4 or event my wife's Note 4. Moreover, it has a yellowish color, not pure white as the rest of the phones.

For some reason sometimes there is a glitch while taking a photograph with the flash on. The camera flash occurs, but it doesn't take the photograph. I turn off the flash, take one without the flash (always works) and then I turn on the flash and it works. o.O
If I close the Camera and lock my phone, and I open the camera again - same thing.
My flash on my camera will go off randomly even when I'm not using my phone. .. why?

I am on 5.0.2 not 5.1.1 yet.

Why can't I flash to this firmware?
I'm so used to having an SD Card (S3, S4 & S5), so how do we flash ROMs without an EXT SD Card since doing a factory reset deletes everything?!

I flashed to 5.1.1 T-Mobile when it came out, then learned it was a leak and wasn't ready for release yet. Unsurprisingly I'm having issues with System crashing, etc. I tried to flash back to 5.0.2 and I end up in a bootloop.
I'm stuck! The only ROM that seems to work now is 5.1.1, all others get me stuck in a bootloop in which I must use TWRP to flash back to 5.1.1. How to be able to go back to a stable 5.0.2!

I did that on other phones before so I flashed TWRP and pulled the files with adb. I tried to reboot after that and was stuck at the boot screen. I tried flashing some stock firmware from stockrom.net but Odin always says FAIL!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI flashed the XtreStoLite Bootloader and Modem for 5.1.1. After that I flashed the new TWRP with Odin, it passed so there shouldn't be any errors.
I tried to boot into the recovery after I turned off the phone with volume + / power / home button. At first there was only a picture of an android but now it doesn't do anything when I try to press the buttons.
The Bootloader shows that the knox is already tripped so it's w/e. Tried to check for root in Android terminal but apparently it doesn't recognise the command.
How to proceed, so I can finally boot into twrp?
I see that when i use odin to restore i used this to see if it will get rid of lags or not .... I started a thread about the lag i am facing but apparently odin does not format the device my only hope to get this device running smoothly is this method ....
