I want to flash to G920FXXU1AOD4 from G920FXXU1AOE3. I tried to use Odin 1.85 and 3.04.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNot sure where im going wrong really, i used odin to flash a firmware, i was expecting it to wipe the phone completely which is what i wanted it to do because i wanted to start afresh with a new firmware but after installing i still has the remnants of the previous rom on like the theme didn't change, it didn't even bring up the initial setup screens. i did not change any of the Odin tickboxes, am i missing something?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyway as usual I don't do lot of research (I'm stupid I guess), so first I flash CF-Auto-Root via Odin and... surprise phone is stuck on boot logo, so I don't panic too much , I install TWRP via Odin and everything is ok, then I download a stock firmware 3483.1 MB and try to flash it via odin but oh surprise, it fails, on the phone screen say

Received it today, fist thing I had to do was update it from 5.0.2. So I used the OTA update from t-mobile option (as it offered it as soon as I turned the phone on and connected to Wifi).
I click the "Restart and apply update" when it had finished downloading, set the phone down, browse the internet for a little and notice it was hanging on the Samsung logo.
I try to turn it off and on, nothing works. I try entering recovery mode, won't let me.So I then download and try manually flashing 5.1.1 through ODIN.
Everything says "PASS" in ODIN, it reboots and gets to the Samsung logo, shows the android robot, says "installing updates" but when the bar reaches about 45% it switches to "erasing" then goes back to getting stuck on the Samsung Logo.
What can I do ? I really don't want to trip knox as Pay is the sole reason I bought this stupid phone, all other Stock ROMS now fail odin and G920TUVU3DOI1_G920TTMB3DOI1_G920TUVU3DOI1_HOME.tar is just doing the Install then erase thing.
If I wanted to flash an official rom, should I unroot my phone first?

The phone is running the latest stock firmware, unrooted, still locked. Is it possible to make it happen through an app, whether it's an app that is dedicated to that function or a music player app that has the option built-in ? I have the feeling this has to be activated in the rom itself.

I got my new S6, however, I immediately noticed that the LED flash is not as bright as my old Nexus 4 or event my wife's Note 4. Moreover, it has a yellowish color, not pure white as the rest of the phones.

For some reason sometimes there is a glitch while taking a photograph with the flash on. The camera flash occurs, but it doesn't take the photograph. I turn off the flash, take one without the flash (always works) and then I turn on the flash and it works. o.O
If I close the Camera and lock my phone, and I open the camera again - same thing.
My flash on my camera will go off randomly even when I'm not using my phone. .. why?

I am on 5.0.2 not 5.1.1 yet.

and after 5-10 minutes, I just take the USB out and boot it up normally, because nothing happens.I'm in download mode, USB debugging is enabled, original cable, Odin v3.09, tried using different usb ports, odin is started as administrator.
I'm so used to having an SD Card (S3, S4 & S5), so how do we flash ROMs without an EXT SD Card since doing a factory reset deletes everything?!
