I got my new S6, however, I immediately noticed that the LED flash is not as bright as my old Nexus 4 or event my wife's Note 4. Moreover, it has a yellowish color, not pure white as the rest of the phones.
my 1020 is experiencing many problems, first of all I must mention that the screen was changed after being broken, and then the problems started, display colours went yellowish and too bright, screen locking alone too many times when battery gets below 65%. I have to mention that I changed the screen another times, but the problems started again after 3 days, and that sometimes the phone gets fixed sudenlly, but not for too long, the longest period was 2 days, and two more times it worked properly again for few minutes (once I unlock the lock screen, the phone gets corrupted again)
I bought hazel yesterday.being a Sony ericson product i thought it must be a great camera phone.but it was shock to see the led light gives distorted yellow light and also camera captures blurred pics.which are to be fixed by photo fix.any solution to this.please help me.mainly i wanna get rid of yellow distorted led flash lite.
However, I tried taking a few photos in full darkness with flash on or even in low light. I realized that the flash was very dull and did not produce sharp photos as should happen when the flash is on. This phone has dual LED flash and I can still say that my Galaxy S3 with single LED flash had a better performance and produced really good photos with flash on.
The problem I see here is that the flash is kinda yellow in color while S3 had a pure white flash and that too extremely bright, however, with N6P thats not the case.
I discover a really annoying bug when using flash and manual focus. So to reproduce it with no doubt, use a white subject, like a written paper, or something white to capture at a very close distance, let's say 20 cm (or 7 inches). Then:
- Open Nokia Camera. - First thing, select manual focus. - Be sure Flash is on. - Now take the picture.
What you now (should) have is an unusual burned picture. If you take the same picture, with totally the same settings, and using autofocus, instead, the light is normal and the paper correct.
I discover a "workaround" with pressing the autofucus button, let it try to focus something, first, and then using Manual Focus (it seems like a first procedure in autofocusing resets some parameters).
After this and taken the picture, flash and light seem correct, but comparing the autofocus picture taken first, with the Manual Focus one taken later, the manual one results again a bit brighter (in my example the color changed and the more brightness is barely noticeable, but I assure you, depending on colors and distance, it gets just more).
I already tried on 3 1020s.
1 - mine 2 - a friend of mine's 3 - one in a NStore shop directly from the shelf (the employer was embarassed for not knowing that issue).
The phone was working perfectly , after I plugged the phone to charge then this all started ( if your wondering ; the charger is the factory Samsung charger , came with the phone )
Yeahh ; I noticed after I left it to charge ! The screen had changed , it was like it had a yellow / greenish tint . I found out when I increase the brightness to full , the color goes back to normal but when I dim the brightness ; instead of going dimmer or darker , the color changes . There's a different array of colors , it starts of with dark green then to orange , red , dark red before finally dimming at a dark blue .. Its really pointless since I cant see half the time when this colors are there and who wants to view their screen in full brightness all the time ..
So I have an S5 and while using an app I noticed an extremely bright rectangular spot across the top part of the screen.I got the phone replaced and while using the replacement S5 found another rectangular bright spot and this time it was not quite as noticeable but it was bigger than the previous spot. I would explain the spot as an unnatural brighter hue compared to the rest of the screen.
Is there a way to make apps and other screens with a bright white background have a dark theme instead? It's much easier to read white text lettering on a dark background. For example, the phone dialer is bright white, but I want it dark like the older android versions.
I have Alliance ROM installed on a rooted S5 and am wondering if there is a dark UI theme in the settings somewhere. The 17 themes it comes with doesn't actually make the phone dialer dark. I'm seeing screenshots online of Alliance that are nice and dark (I think it's called Black Glass?), including the phone dialer. How do I get the whole android theme dark.
Same thing with other apps. There's a few local TV news apps that have a bright white background that I wish I could customize to a dark theme. The Samsung Music Player is bright white as well.
I got the galaxy s6 edge about 2 weeks ago, and noticed that when I tried to take pictures with my front camera the pictures look very weird. Like everything is too bright and my face looks like i have a ton of make up on or i have been airbrushed or something. It is just very weird. I have tried turning the beauty setting to zero and turning HDR off. Still has not fixed the problem.
The back camera does not have this issue, it takes nice pictures. Also, my s4 front camera did not do this, it was a very good front camera. So i feel like the s6 front camera is a downgrade, what happened?
W shooting video in bright sunlight the LCD screen on Samsung S5 smart phone blocks out the screen from the clare. How do I correct that to have a clear LCD to look at.
This may sound like a bit of a thick statement but I got my iPhone last week, it's a week 31 build, it has a bit of a yellowish tint on the screen compared to my dads who get his launch week.
When comparing both side by side, the display on his is a lot clearer than mine, I cannot see a single pixel. However on mine they are visible, not individual pixels but more like horizontal bands when changing the viewing angle. How is it possible to see them on one iPhone but not the other? Could it be a cheaper display, the yellow tint making them more visible or a fault?
What to do when you have a yellowish tint on your screen? My screen is yellower than my daughters (also iPhone 4s) and much more yellow than my sons iPod touch (4th generation). Is there any solution? It´snot the glue, I had the phone for three weeks now.
so i recently got another iphone cause i broke my last one and i noticed that the screen on this iphone is yellowish looking can someone help i dont know if thats normal or if the phone has a problem?
When I take photos in my 5s it was showing some what brownish colour or yellowish when compared to other iphones, my display is also having same problem, i thought it was display problem and i connected my mobile to lap and copied photos from my mobile, here i found that same result it was showing same brownish colour or yellowish, what is the problem? Is it camera problem or software or hardware problem,or display problem? even front camera pics are also somewhat brownish colour when compared to other iPhones...
How to flash the above mentioned rom as I'm still on 5.0.2 even though the update is actually already out. What confuses and scares me is the warning about the bootloader and modem... Go from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1 and flash xtrestolite as rom?
Today I've realised while going out of my car at night, that my LED flashlight is really bright after the android upgrade. Is it possible that it became lighter or is it just my imagination?
At night or evening I am finding the screen to be way to bright when set on either auto or manual. I have to use a app called screen filter to dim the screen more.
I have tried to flash stock firmware a few weeks ago but got the same problem. Now I am trying to flash engineering bootloader exactly the same problem.the problem is; every time I want to flash something with odin it fails after nand write start and then i get this weird thing on my screen.and yes after this fail i can still use my phone and other things.
I have 5.0.2 firmware now, but the main problem is hot spot not working and even I can't use "shareit" app.I want to flash 5.1.1 firmware on my phone.
My phone is factory unlocked (knox warranty void: 1 (0x0000))but after 1 sec the process fails.I cant attach it's photo. I don't know how to attach image in XDA. It has been rooted easily but the twrp recovery touch didn't work and I installed sprint version and problem solved. If I flash the wrong firmware it will not be flashed or flash will complete and the phone won't work?because I didn't know to flash 920v or 920r4. and finally I choosed the 920v my phone build info is: ( I used "root checker" for this information)
I got my BB Bold 9900 last month so I'm still trying to get used to all the features. A little while ago I noticed something and I've yet to figure out the source of the problem. It's a little difficult to explain but I'll give it my best shot:I've always had the backlighting on 100 - the brightest setting, and it looked great. After having played around with it, suddenly, it's nowhere near the brightness that it used to be despite being on the highest setting.Does this make any sense? It used to be really bright and easy to read, but now even on the highest setting it's quite dark. Hopefully there's a solution to this and it's not just me. I've searched through all the settings and can't figure out why it's not as bright as it used to be.
Question about photos taken with bright objects. Whenever I take a photo which has bright lights it ruins the whole photo. I tap in different areas to try refocus but makes no difference. Even at times part of the picture goes really dark.
When I'm browsing websites, watching movies, or really anytime the phone is on there are 2 very bright white dots along the right edge of display and the dots are indeed under the glass.
I've had my Z5 for 3 days now and I cant fault it although on the first night I noticed the screen had bright patches in the middle which was odd. The phone has never been dropped and is cosmetically immaculate.
