Huawei Nexus 6P :: Camera Flash Is Not White LED - Yellowish Dull
Dec 22, 2015
However, I tried taking a few photos in full darkness with flash on or even in low light. I realized that the flash was very dull and did not produce sharp photos as should happen when the flash is on. This phone has dual LED flash and I can still say that my Galaxy S3 with single LED flash had a better performance and produced really good photos with flash on.
The problem I see here is that the flash is kinda yellow in color while S3 had a pure white flash and that too extremely bright, however, with N6P thats not the case.
i just got the phone today from the apple store as a replacement so i take it its brand new, and when i set it next to my friends iphone 4s his white color on the display is cleary whiter and every color is more sharper. I have my brighness all the way up like his and all setting are similar. You can cleary tell that ts a yellowish white, not clear white.
I got my new S6, however, I immediately noticed that the LED flash is not as bright as my old Nexus 4 or event my wife's Note 4. Moreover, it has a yellowish color, not pure white as the rest of the phones.
Everytime i take a pic with my IP4 and I use the flash, the pics come out with a funny white/blueish tint. is there a way to white balance? Is everyone else having this problem?
After manually flashing files to upgrade to 6.0.1, I flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0. But I am not able to flash supersu from sdcard because when I browse to the folder, it looks empty. Why this is happening?
I am looking for a clear explanation of how to flash Android 6.0.1 with root and encryption disabled without wiping data. With all the explanations through the forum, all the "if's" and "but's" get confusing and can be clear as mud.
I bought hazel yesterday.being a Sony ericson product i thought it must be a great camera phone.but it was shock to see the led light gives distorted yellow light and also camera captures blurred pics.which are to be fixed by photo fix.any solution to this.please help me.mainly i wanna get rid of yellow distorted led flash lite.
I've tried dirty flashing, factory reset, system wipe, and a full reflash of Googles stock images. Still when I try and boot into CM13, I get stuck at the Google logo.
Fastboot recognizes my device, gives me confirmation of flash, but the device itself is not registering the commands and is stuck on "Connect USB Data Cable". I don't have my OEM cable and am using the iOrange-E C-A cable. I've tried different USB ports, restarting, etc.
fastboot says that the flash is successful, but the device never takes.
I've always wanted a device with an AMOLED display, my Vita uses an OLED display and it's really, really nice. I've just ordered a Nexus 6P, which should come tomorrow, and was wondering about how much battery there is to be saved from using apps that mostly display white text on a black background.Since most the pixels won't be used, it seems to make sense that the screen would pull only a very small amount of power, right.
I was recently on chroma rom with a layers theme applied and I decided to go back to stock and it seems like the layers theme stayed through all the flashes.... I'm not complaining because I much prefer my theme then the stock theme but I'm just curious as to why it stuck
Its like there is a dull fuzzy filter or a layer of some kind of slightly opaque plastic over the lens...and ALL my pix look like they're taken thru a glass of tea. Yet when I use the forward-facing camera, the pix are sharp and clear...
when I open my camera it shows only camera logo and the shot button at the bottom. it happned on stock and I am now on purenexus and the same. what can I do. (its not hardware because camera is working after few seconds when restart and than its crashes)
I just got my Nexus 6P yesterday, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP, and did the systemless root, and now my camera app does not boot!I read somewhere flashing the stock boot.img fixes it, but then i'd lose the systemless root.
I'm running the latest Cyanogenmod 13 nightly on my Nexus 6P, without gapps. Unfortunately, I do not have an HDR option in the camera (tried AOSP and Google camera).
I already flashed the vendor.img from Google. What I could do? I do not want to install gapps.
I've been having issues with my rear camera on Nexus 5 (my front facing camera works fine). Currently the camera and the flash will not work and basically stopped working some time around the upgrade to lollipop. While on lollipop, I tried uninstalling the app updates, restarting, clearing the cache... Now, I'm currently running 6.0 and still the camera/flash are not working. Tonight I tried wiping the phone and reverting all the way back to kitkat 4.4.4 to see if that would fix it. I tried this multiple times, wiping and reflashing to various versions ranging from 4.4.0 to 6.0 to see if any would somehow fix the camera issue, but none worked.
At this point, I'm back on 6.0 and its still not working. My phone doesn't even show the default camera app in the app drawer. I have to access it through the shortcut on the lock screen and when I do I get the "Can't connect to the camera" message. I'm assuming its a hardware issue at this point. From what I can tell, the flash is not part of the camera module, so if the camera itself broke, it seems like the camera flash should still be recognized and functional (its not in my case, not even an option for the default flashlight on the taskbar pull-down screen). I am wondering if its worth buying an oem replacement camera module and installing it to see if this fixes the issues.
How to make the camera flash light up when a phone call or text message is received. I have tried a couple different apps that I've used on other phones but none seem to work on the Nexus 6.
Okay so I recorded some really cool slow motion shots. I can go into the edit screen and select the exact spot the slow motion should be. But when I go to send/post it the the video is completely in slow motion. Nothing in normal speed at all.
Today I flashed CM13 on my Nexus6P and it all worked fine until I tried starting the camera, which gave me the error mentioned in the title. Restarting the phone and erasng the app's data didn't work either. Also everytime I boot my phone it shows me an "your device is corrupted" screen (not the boot loader unlocked screen) and when the phone starts it shows me something like "there's a problem with your phone, it might not work properly".Is this my fault or is it a CM13 issue and how do I fix it? (I'm using today's official CM13 build with Open Gapps Mini arm64 for android 6.0)
Whenever I try to open the stock camera app it instantly closes then the message "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." pops up. It does this every time even after multiple restarts. I have tried downloading multiple different camera apps as well however it only opens the front camera and has no option to switch to the rear one. I am running 6.0.1
Why I am getting these patches on all pictures that i take. I am able to see it when i am using the camera app as well; although if i zoom the patch disappears.
I have checked that it's not an issue with the screen by opening a white background pic, also checked that the camera glass is clean.
Just noticed my camera while recording and focusing makes a click or distortion noise which is very minimal but I also noticed that it gets picked up in the video recordings. My device has no other issue besides this and really don't want to roll the dice and get a bad RMA.
The camera stopped working on my phone. I uninstalled google camera then reinstalled it. It didn't work. When I hit the camera button on screen, the controls for the camera show up on the screen, but nothing works. The screen is dark (like there is a lens cover on it).
