I can flas cm13 but when i flash gapps(not matter which one nano, pico ext..) i get error 6 or 22, what is wrong???

View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I'm running PAC ROM; I have a slight issue, I want stock GApps on my phone to add some features I've been wanting. When I flash it (tk_gapps-stock-5.1.1-20150809-signed.zip) on the official Nexus 5 lolipop ROM I got an error message, I read it and it says that I need to flash is ontop of another TK GApps, unless I wipe my cashe partition. So I wiped my Davlick Cashe and Cashe. Still have me the same message.

View 10 Replies View RelatedFastboot recognizes my device, gives me confirmation of flash, but the device itself is not registering the commands and is stuck on "Connect USB Data Cable". I don't have my OEM cable and am using the iOrange-E C-A cable. I've tried different USB ports, restarting, etc.
fastboot says that the flash is successful, but the device never takes.
Is it possible to unlock bootloader, root, flash twrp and somehow flash the stock rom? If yes, where can I get the rom files for flashing with twrp?

I realized that the flash was very dull and did not produce sharp photos as should happen when the flash is on. This phone has dual LED flash and I can still say that my Galaxy S3 with single LED flash had a better performance and produced really good photos with flash on.
The problem I see here is that the flash is kinda yellow in color while S3 had a pure white flash and that too extremely bright, however, with N6P thats not the case.
I was recently on chroma rom with a layers theme applied and I decided to go back to stock and it seems like the layers theme stayed through all the flashes.... I'm not complaining because I much prefer my theme then the stock theme but I'm just curious as to why it stuck

View 10 Replies View RelatedToday I flashed CM13 on my Nexus6P and it all worked fine until I tried starting the camera, which gave me the error mentioned in the title. Restarting the phone and erasng the app's data didn't work either.Also everytime I boot my phone it shows me an "your device is corrupted" screen (not the boot loader unlocked screen) and when the phone starts it shows me something like "there's a problem with your phone, it might not work properly".Is this my fault or is it a CM13 issue and how do I fix it? (I'm using today's official CM13 build with Open Gapps Mini arm64 for android 6.0)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was running Pure Nexus and decided I would install Chroma today. I made a full backup in recovery with TWRP. I then installed Chroma and Gapps. Upon booting it told me I needed to update my vendor image. I couldn't remember how I did that the last time so I decided to just go back to my Pure Nexus and restore it. When I tried I got this error: "E: Cannot restore System -- mounted read only". How to fix this so I can restore that backup? I've searched and didn't find a solution. Also, couldn't find exactly how to flash the update vendor.img. Should have written all this down when I did it back in November.

First I got message ( your device is corrupted. it can't be trusted and may not work properly ) although i didn't make any custom rom nor recovery nor unlock my boot loader
Second I got No command error , then boot loop all the way .....
After some google i tried to press power + volume up and down to enter recovery ( the stock recovery ). I did wipe cash + wipe data factory hoping it solve the problem but seems no way
Also i read Heisenberg's How-To Guide For Beginners many times and downloaded last Stock img but can't install it via fastboot cause i didn't activate usb debugging before nor “Enable OEM Unlock” so i can't even unlock my nexus.

Having a problem with stock Messenger. I can send pics but not videos. I took a short (5s) video on my 6P and tried to send it to my son. He's got a 5X. I get an error saying "message not sent: couldn't resize video..".
He's running stock Marshmallow MMB29T, and I'm rooted (same build) and running PureNexus 6.0.1-20160109 which is the latest version. He can send videos just fine and I can receive. Other than the sending of videos, all is running good.
I'm rooted using Franco kernel.
When I try and reboot through the Xposed Framework I get the following error message everytime:

I have busbox installed. Not sure what else I'm doing wrong?
First time rooter here, getting wakelock error message "failed to perform this task at the moment, please try again later"
I've tried removing it with system app remover and reinstalling it, still no dice.
I tried to install xtrasmooth but i got the error: error executing updater binary.. On croma i got an error about the system partition...
Already tried to wipe and reboot to recovery and unmount system partition.
Are there any special instructions for the 16gb variant?
I remember that on my oneplus i got the same error message about the updater binary, i fixed it flashing a zip that changed the device name...
I'm currently on pure nexus/ then restored stock and titanium backup is displaying an insufficient storage error when trying to back up an app. Also, I can't download anything from Firefox or chrome.I've reflashed the ROM and it didn't solve my issues. What can I do to fix this?

For me insn't a problem of Rom, because this problem is present also with only aosp code, but is of my environment ( configured with guide in XDA ) .

I tried to flash but I receive an error FAILED <unable to flash write>. im able to go into recovery and boot loader. In my team win recovery in the terminal I get multiple errors saying "E:unable to mount '/data", "E:unable to mount /ata/media/TWRP/ .twrps when trying to read settings file" ,"E: No valid storage partitions found for MTP" (when i try to enable mtp), "E:unable to mount '/persist" and "E:unable to mount storage"
View 10 Replies View Relatedso i did the update from modaco and wow, thing is blazing fast, scored 38 on linpack, installed flash from market, www.Internet.com works www.addictinggames.com works, and everything else.it auto detected my telus apn and worked hspa+ right away with no configuring needed only problem ive run into sofar is browser only works on wifi for me, cant figure that one out.but wow! i love the speed of my n1 now!
fixed my browser problem for all telus n1 owners doing this update. after flash, go to settings->wireless/networks->mobile networks->access point names click on the telus one, go down to under proxy put 80 for your port then mms proxy=74.49.0.18 , mms port=80 and it should refresh and work perfectly!
edit: another thing, sending links from google chrome to your phone works on froyo !
When I try change Notification LED Color, The primary color "Green" and "Blue" do not seem to work. But when I move the slider down, I get RED, Pink, Yellow and Cyan.

Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.
I got my Nexus 6P in australia yesterday and I was playing around with the settings. One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am rooted on stock 6.0.1 with ElementalX kernel. I have Xposed installed, but I've tried disabling all modules. I've tried deleting the stock clock data and cache. There are no alarms set or off. I've checked the alarms.db file and there are no entries.
How do I get rid of the icon and lock screen info? I only have the Google Clock installed.
The only Google result says to do a battery pull on a different device. Can't really pull the battery on this phone, though.
I tried to install Cataclysm ROM, and then it went into some sort of installer, after that I tried to reboot, but TWRP said it didn't have any OS?? So i tried to boot it up anyway? but nothing, just stuck on Google Logo. After that I tried to boot into TRWP agian. But then TWRP says "Mount Decrypt Data" and then i have to enter a password?? but i removed my pattern lock before flashing.
Because i made a Nandroid and i read i had to remove the password before making a backup. But then i just press cancel. Then it says " Unmodified System Partition" "Swipe to Allow Modifications" and i do that. Now i have nothing on my SD card?? Then i thought i could flash stock through Fastboot/ADB, but now it won't see my device in ADB? I have updated my drivers, both by Google and Intel But nothing? so i cant return to stock and can't boot up.
Some how i got i to reboot by an ADB command and then i could flash factory image and return to stock.
