May 8, 2011yesterday appeared on my screen an icon just like the one when you have a missed call.I looked arround and searched discussions .I tooked the battery out,hard reset,...i looked into messages..call log....and i didn't found anything. I called my provider and tried ##002# but nothing.I am starting to regret that i bought myself a blackberry. My model is BB 8310 Curve.

Mar 12, 2015my s5 had a weird filter when the brightness isn't at full. There are some lines, the colors are all washed out and inaccurate especially the blacks which appear red-brown. I have tried everything, yes, even a factory reset, and no luck. I took some pictures to describe the situation of my phone. And if you think it's just a bad camera quality, trust me, it isn't.

Jan 2, 2014So I finally updated to Black today and to my surprise the damn yellow tint is still present when using flash indoors.I did one shot before the update with Nokia Pro Cam, and on after the Black update and after updating to Nokia Camera.
They look nearly identical.

no flash after black [this looks most like the real thing] . Notice similar issue with the yellow tint not being fixed after updating to Black?Also forgot to mention, all setting were on auto, on the top two shots, on the no flash one, change from auto flash to no flash.

I thought it was nothing so i turn off my power after I tried to open up again it didn't. Jun 13, 2015I flashed to 5.1.1 T-Mobile when it came out, then learned it was a leak and wasn't ready for release yet. Unsurprisingly I'm having issues with System crashing, etc. I tried to flash back to 5.0.2 and I end up in a bootloop.
I'm stuck! The only ROM that seems to work now is 5.1.1, all others get me stuck in a bootloop in which I must use TWRP to flash back to 5.1.1. How to be able to go back to a stable 5.0.2!

Dec 12, 2015I recently bought a 950XL and everything was working fine until this morning. I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.

Pulled battery out and put it back in. Still could not turn it on. Attached it to charger, battery icon showed as empty, then phone went into endless reboot cycle. Left it on charge overnight and in the morning was still in its endless reboot cycle, with battery still showing as dead. Could not hard reset either.

Jun 22, 2012I finally got round to rooting my phone last night to hopefully get rid of my "MAPServicesamsung has unfortunately stopped" problem that I and a few others have had since going from GB to ICS. Downloaded insecure kernal CF-Root-SGS2_XW_ODD_KE8-v4.0-CWM4.tar and phone got suck on yellow triange during reboot so turned off and wouldn't turn on again, just the battery indicator showing as the USB was still plugged in. Saw others have had the same problem and the way to overcome it was to load CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEN_LP7-v5.4-CWM5.tar and sure enough this worked (still had yellow triangle to start with) and then rooted with S2Root_1.5.1_Release (1). Now my wi-fi will not connect. It recognises it but keeps scrolling between authenticating, Obtaining IP address and Saved, secured with WPA2 and sometimes Avoided poor internet connection (even though signal is showing as excellent). I've done allsorts since; deleted it and scanned back in, changed from DHCP to static and back, rebooted the router, taken the battery out.

May 29, 2015I understand that AMOLED screens tend to run warmer but it seems my device has some rather annoying color shift. When I look at the phone headon there is a bit of a yellow tint. However if I change the angle just slightly there is a blue/purple tint across the screen.
The yellow I'm seeing might be a true white but the color shifting to blue/purple is quite annoying.
This was a replacement device and I'm not sure if I remember this or not on my old device.

Mar 6, 2015I got a replacement galaxy s5 on Jan 28 and I've noticed the screen has a yellow and blue tint during white backgrounds. If i look straight at the screen, the white has some yellow tint over the mid to top portion of the screen. However, if I move the phone up, the yellow moves down the screen and a blue tint appears on the top to mid part of the screen. The tint isn't heavy as I can see still get good colors out of things.
Is this normal for the s5 screen? My old phone had a yellow tint to the white as well, but I don't know if the tint changed from yellow to blue when I moved the phone up and down.
