My Xperia Z5 continually heating up after boot then it going to Sleep of dead i have to reset by put the power botton and volume up to boot my Xperia again. Iit take about 3 minutes before going to dead after boot.

However, m experiencing a strange issue, it gets heated up while using the phone for 2- 5 mins (Browsing, Calls or playing games). It gets so much heated up that I cannot hold in my hand . View 3 Replies View RelatedI just received my DK36 charger for my Xperia Z2 (purchased on eBay from a reputable seller in original packaging), and it won't charge continuously.
After docking the phone the charging notification light goes on and the charging symbol shows up, and this lasts for about a minute. Then it stops & starts charging for about a minute, with the notification light turning off & on, before resuming a normal charge again. This cycle repeats itself ad nauseum.
At first I thought it might be a bug with Smart Connect, because I created a night profile to turn on the Desk Clock, but it is still happening with Smart Connect disabled.
This is the second issue I have had with my Z2 since getting it in May, the first issue was a self cracking back that Sony at first refused to repair under warranty, eventually they did.
Now, after finally deciding to use the phones waterproof feature today I am having another issue. I submersed the phone in my backyard pool (no chlorine) and recorded a snapchat message for about 10 seconds. I pulled it out, dried it off and carried on. I then went to take a photo normally about an hour later and I noticed a ton of vapour or condensation on the inside of the camera lens, great. Then about an hour and a half after that, the phone started vibrating and has not stopped since. It's been about 2 hours. It stops everynow and again for a few seconds, then it just goes off it charts again, and it is so annoying.
Yes, I turned it on and off, it just continues to vibrate. I tried to hard reset it, pushed the red button down, it just turns off, doesn't actually restart. Of course all the covers were sealed, I'm not stupid, I look after my electronics.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTwo weeks ago my phone screen began randomly freezing, and a small section at the bottom would become digital noise/pixels. To fix this I simply locked my phone with the power button, waited a few minutes and my phone would be back to normal. I can't remember if this started happening before or after I updated my phone to the latest software.
For the last week when I unlock my phone, every now and again the screen won't turn on.
Sometimes when I plugged it in to charge, the charging screen would display and I could turn it on that way. When the screen was blank, sometimes I could press the power button repetitively (locking & unlocking my phone) and the screen would eventually turn on.
I then figured out I could do a 'hard reset' by holding down the power and volume up buttons, and my phone would work again.
I can't turn it off without it initiating a boot loop all on its own. Every time I press the power button and select "Power Off", it turns off and then about 5 seconds later the Sony screen comes back on, stays on for a few seconds, turns back off and repeats. I can break the bootloop by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and turning the device back on. The consequence is that every time I turn off my phone, it discharges totally!
My phone is NOT rooted and it hasn't been modified in any way.

The issue appeared after a few months of use, in November. I think it didn't coincide with any software update. It's not a brand new phone so I wouldn't like to return it as I already have lots of information in there.
It has been now 4 months i have this Z2, unitl now everything was working fine, last day the battery drained completely, 0% and it got off. after some time i connected the phone to wall charger using original charger and cable , the screen boots and sony xperia flash and then it get off and then again keeps boot loop,
The RED led comes on and then off , and screen flash SE and keeps looping... i tried making power off holding UP + power nothing works.
i tried connecting to PCC but it also doesnt detect and keep searching phone. i tried repairing using PCC but it doesnt detect phone. i tried holding DOWN volume during power on but green led doesnt come ...
I recently bought a 950XL and everything was working fine until this morning. I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.

I just could not turn it back on again, but it remained hot. Pulled battery out and put it back in. Still could not turn it on. Attached it to charger, battery icon showed as empty, then phone went into endless reboot cycle. Left it on charge overnight and in the morning was still in its endless reboot cycle, with battery still showing as dead. Could not hard reset either.

It seems like the phone is working ok in the background, but I cannot access the homescreen.
I can take screenshots, change the volume, etc. and as I could access the phone's internal and sdcard I made all the backups as possible.
my iphone 4is over heating and the battery life is diminishing very quickly ive rebooted the phone deleted the apps that where open and turnede it off for an hour but it still is doing the same thing with in 5 minutes the battery life has gone from 66% to 59%?

My girlfriend owns a Razr and every since the ICS update she has been telling me her phone has giving her problems. It gets hot when listening to pandora or videos after a short time in use. Her battery life wasnt the greatest from the beginning but after ICS it's worse. I was suppose to do this a week ago after I mentioned. Now shes threatening to take my Maxx.

I've sent it in for repair once already (preparing a second trip) and that was a waste of time cause NOTHING AT ALL seem to change. This gradually increased over time to the point where I got so frustrated I ended up uninstalling the app. However, my phone continued to restart which lead to me realizing that Snapchat wasn't the actual cause of the problem. So I did some research and came across different possible solutions but unfortunately none of them worked :/ One post I found suggested it might be the battery but I'm still not sure. Earlier today my phone restarted but on a loop and I ended up factory resetting it, which I hoped would solve the issue.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I just got out to LA for my 17 day vacation and 2 days in, my 1520 decided to just continuously reboot itself.
I took it to a Microsoft store today and the tech attempted to use the software recovery tool. But he plugged it into a PC so it never got enough power to even boot up to the home screen and he told me there was nothing he could do.
If if I plug it into the wall, it'll boot up to the home screen for about 20 seconds and then just shut off and boot right back up and do the same thing.
Would a hard reset with 2% battery be a bad idea? I really don't want to use my upgrade right now with windows 10 devices right on the horizon.
